Canon EOS R6 Mark III is due for release after the new year. Its features and specifications are better than the specifications of the R 6 Mark I and the R 6 mark II. if you are thinking of upgrading you should wait. I has fixed many of the problems and has a few new features.
Faye! Can I be honest after watching this video I’m tired! That is what I need at my house, organization in fast forward, I really enjoyed watching you doing a great work and the shelves was a perfect for your equipment. I can’t believe you were still able to continue with a photo shoot, your amazing and the shoot was fantastic! Especially when you had the stool in the water because your legs are short, you had me laughing, I’m telling you don’t lose your personality. Thank you for making my day. Take care Faye ❤
Owh… your comment put a smile on my face. Thank you for the kind words. It feels special that in this way I get to share a little more about me and give you a video to watch 😇
Always love your authenticity and humor Faye, keep doing these videos imo, i think it shows a more personal side to you which i reckon it really cool! Fyi, that location at the end absolutely blew my mind as a landscape photographer 🤯❤ wow!! Your model, also wow, so pretty. Keep killin it 💯
Never come across you or your channel before, but this was a breath of fresh air, a humble video, and above all else the thing I admire is your ability to make vlogging look effortless. I've given your channel a sub and I've followed your Instagram. I both commend and congratulate you on the successes and effort you put into your work. You've achieved more than I ever could as a photographer. You're resourceful, play to your strengths and ooze with confidence. Bravo!!
I am just a hobbiest using an R6 as well. Your enthuisiasm is so infectious, glad I stumbled upon your channel and look forward to what you share next for content!
Your videos are just so much fun to watch! Congratulations on the new camera, that’s the one I have too and I just love it. Beautiful work with your model and also it was fun to see a little bit of the Netherlands from your perspective! Wonderful video
Thank you! It was so nice bringing you along for it. I love sharing my photo shoots but that’s all the video is about then. Happy I got to share a little more about me this way :)
I just bought the Canon R6 Mark II and I'm loving it! I upgraded from my 80D I had since 2017. I have a few videos I've made with it (not good compared to yours), but it's so much fun and a good learning experience from the 80D.
after the video ends I got depressed by thinking will i ever able to make it. Video was really good visuals aesthetic style of story telling, i was engaged the whole time. great job
We'd looooove to see more videos like this ! Decluttering an office takes so much time, and then after a shoot or two everything is a mess again There is no saving for us The photoshoot was awesome as well. Such a cool location !!
What a coincidence, I have the R6 and R6 MK II as well. Mainly use them for sports and wildlife. Combined with the RF 100-500mm it's perfect match. Have the same charger as well. Love it, so cool to charge 2 batteries at the same time and to see the percentage of charge.
Loved the nitty gritty of your day. It’s so true how much time we spend just organising gear, packing, repacking and setting it up. Wondering if you do any studio lighting?
Awesome job Faye 👍 love the variety in your videos, keeps it interesting from a viewers perspective. Sometimes UA-cam can feel a little stale and predictable, or like a marketing advert, but you keeping it entertaining, fun and down to Earth.
That was fantastic Faye. I love how you captured the images with no flash. I always think portraits have to be shot with flash. Would love to see more 🤙
Talented, really natural and engaging UA-cam style and pretty. What’s not to like! Definitely more videos like this please. I realise you’re a pro photographer but you have a lot of gear. A lot. Do you carry much of that to/from Australia?
The filming in public bit was super helpful. It’s something I struggle with immensely and often don’t end up filming anything because or the anxiety 🥲. Perfect timing for that gent to roll in on his scooter 🛵 ❤
Hey! Couldn't agree with you more, the shutter sound on R6 Mark II is the most fun to hear! Enjoy the camera I think it's the best full frame (ibis) photo/video hybrid you can get right now. Have fun!
Good morning Faye. Good jobs. Un gran saludo desde Baracoa , la ciudad más oriental de Cuba.
Im mostly here for the models, and that Sigma 50mm F1.4 lens model is fantastic. I could swear it was setting up its own light and using it some images were so bright. Course, its a lens, and has no arms, so likely not
Lovely shoot, plenty of movement and communication. Good to see a Peter Lindbergh book on your shelf. Use spring clips 12 of and keep your receipts in order, saves paying an accountant to do it. Happy days and keep shooting.
i know ppl love batteries but ...i havent had to charge my batteries outside my camera for like 3 years using sony and charging my camera with usb cable .....when i am out shooting and battery is low i just plug in my smallrig vomunt battery to the camera ....when i shot sports i have it mounted on a clamp on my monopod and when i am doing basketball i will just have the vmount in side pocket on my backpack and just plug in when i need battery ....i dont switch batteries when shooting .....mybe you can use that tip ....usb charging is game changer for cameras now ...the smallrig vmount 99wt is great to charge my phone or camera on the go
Hiya Faye, I have the Canon R6 and I love it, but I agree with you the R6 mark 2 is better. Good enough to upgrade...not so sure. The Canon R6 is still an incredible camera and produces superb images every time I use it.
Photography and camera-related content is kinda dead compared to what it used to be like a few years ago. You've executed this perfectly and made it quite engaging/interesting to watch. Keep it up!
Sooo happy this came on my recommended videos, I love your energy it really makes me excited to shoot aswell, even though i feel a creative block right now, this motivates me!! (Also recognized the dutch accent the first few seconds!! Zo leuk om eens een NL account te volgen 🥰)
Great video as always. Love your style and openness to your photography. For info - you can alter the volume the shutter makes on the Canon R6 MKii. Also try out the burst shooting - but be warned you will be post processing for days. Keep up the great work.
Oh, what a nice shoot. PS. I love your accent too, because my mom is Dutch too (but your's is so much fresher😅, She's been in SA for 60+ years) Keep up the good work and teach me more about photography, OK? thanks😉
I’m a new subscriber and I found one of your other videos helpful and comforting. I’m a newbie to this stuff, getting my first camera for Christmas. So I’m learning what I can. I enjoy this vlog! P.s right now I’m practicing taking photos on my phone just to get into the habit.
I’ve been using my R6 for a few years now. Mostly adapting EF L glass, and it works great. Do you think it’s worth the upgrade to the R6 ii, for stills only? No video. Thanks!
Off topic, but is Arnhem a good tourist spot? taking the kids to Efteling next easter and having a week exploring after that. Looking for places to go near efteling. I'm a landscape photographer but bringing 3 daughters (13/10/7) so need things for them too. PS great videos, I'm looking to expand into portraits and find your enthusiasm infectious and your videos interesting and inspiring :)
haha, "Gonna bring my ND filter because I don't know how bright it is outside"' As giant window revealing the bright sunlight directly behind you.. lol, all in fun.. Great video.
I tried the R6 mark 2 a few weeks ago, sadly only with a 24-105 F4 lens, but still a very good first "expensive canon" experience.
Great video Thanks for sharing My R5ii shipped today and I’m too excited to sleep😬 Also I know the description says DJI for the mic but it looked just like the Godox XT1. Can you confirm and if you have both which you prefer.

At this age you’re working on your dream and happy. But I couldn’t work or start on my dream. Hands off to you ❤👍
Great vid and great editing. Looks like you used a filter or softened it in editing? I'm curious?
The R6 MKII is brilliant. I took some of my best photos at Uluru with it, and the 'Detect Only' video AF feature is awesome.
Oeh! Uluru is also still on my bucket list. That place looks amazing 😍
@@inyourfayes It’s spectacular. A model shoot there would be amazing.
So cool for the r6 !! 👍 Great video 😊
Thank you! 🙏🏼
great video 🔥
You can use a peter lindgren tri charge
Why not use the Quick books app on your phone for the receipts. Just take a picture and it will sort itself out?
Love the videos I’m now thinking of upgrading from my canon 2000d to r6 mark ii

haha, "Gonna bring my ND filter because I don't know how bright it is outside"' As giant window revealing the bright sunlight directly behind you.. lol, all in fun.. Great video.
Well, you are totally right 😂
But it was the end of the day, so I wasn’t sure if it would be too dark since we were going into night time :)
Do you use a mist filter in your vlogs or just an effect?
Enjoyed the video and excellent location for the photoshoot. I loved the monochrome treatment on some of the images.
Thank you! I went for a little rougher black and white, glad to hear you liked it 🙏🏼
You're a whirlwind. Oh, to be 23 again. What a great location for a shoot. Carry on. 👍🥂
Thank you!! Appreciate it 😇
My day in the life would be staring at a screen editing all waking hours, maybe 15% of my time is actually shooting, but really enjoy your videos! 😀
First time running into your channel. Fellow photographer loved the video! I subscribed as well!
Ahh thank you! Happy you’re tagging along 🙏🏼
I tried the R6 mark 2 a few weeks ago, sadly only with a 24-105 F4 lens, but still a very good first "expensive canon" experience. (I have never tried any other Canon mirrorless cameras)
It got me so stoked on mirrorless and fullframe, and I just got an A7ii this weekend that I wanted for a while. I love it so much (I've taken like 750 photos already!)
I don't have any other lenses than a few vintage lenses however, do you recommend a fullframe 50mm f1.8 or a 85mm f1.8 for portraits? (or another focal length?)

Nice video, as always. Love your b-roll and story telling. I am totally lacking this skill. Which camera do you use for POV shots?
Thank youuu! So happy to hear 🙏🏼
