I miss the fun weapon and armor designs. I love World, but man the armory department is lacking. I want my palico chef armor back.
It's a new engine so they had to remake everything from scrap. In portable they already have the assets from previous games. Give them time and next titles will have just as much content as handheld versions.
Master Oak Oh its just a nitcpick is all. I understand how things are. Though if I lose some event stuff, so that I can get my bear mug dual swords and bathing towel armor combo then so be it.
@@r.e.z9428No sweat, I too miss some monsters. Only 2 out of my top 15 favorites are thete. it's capcom, a monster hunter world ultimate with g rank is bound to happen.
Master Oak the beta for that is in about 5 hours XD
but we get cinematic monsters turf and react to their habitats. Just give Capcom a chance to develop more content.

One thing that is gonna be nice when switching from World to GU is the ability to keep your demon dash in archdemon mode. In World you can only dash while in Demon Mode, wich makes it a pretty expensive tool where as in Gen and GU you can dash all the time as long as your demon bar isnt empty. World also forces you to get in and out of Demon Mode a lot more than other games in the series i feel. In Gen and even 4U i could always pretty much get away with getting into Arch Demon Mode and than pretty much doing my dmg there, only going into active Demon Mode to refill or when i had an opening for demon dance, where as in World, you will run out of your Demon Bar insanely fast if you dont refill every 1 or 2 combos.

World’s dual blade move set is definitely my favorite style of duals out of all the mh games. And I love the run in demon mode. Also hi herny
I feel like DB was indirectly nerfed in MHW, due to how Dash juice worked, how elemental caps work and good Maximum might and Evade mantles are. (Even if Evade mantle can be used with DB, it's harder without Dash juice). Not to mention Elementless jewel and RAW being better in general. It's easier to reach "pretty good" status, but imo DB no longer reached the top. Especially with tempered monster flash pod resistance. But I agree, the playstyle and what DB does hasn't really changed.
I feel like after coming back after some years they didn't exactly nerf dual blades but they dumbed it down by alot which in hindsight I think was stupid why dumb down already easy weapon they took it from easy to pick up hard to master in GU to just straight up easy in world by making most of its combos just mashing the same button id like to see a bit mare depth in the weapon in wilds because the weapon being dumbed down and easy makes it get stale hella fast

A couple things that aren't mentioned in this video: MHW dual blades loses the ability to dash when in archdemon mode. The dash is only available when in demon mode. The other major thing is that the spin to win move was moved from X/A to the first hit of the Circle Combo. This means that you can't go directly into the rest of the circle combo (which has the best vertical reach of DB attacks) without spacing properly first.

I know gen added the touchscreen button to slingshot in demon mode first, But god dang its so convenient in MHW also the stamina drain is way less of a problem.

it's the special attack button (the same button that's used to kick when the weapon is sheathed). I think it's minus on switch.
I find it's almost impossible to keep afloat with dash extracts in GU. It's one of the main reasons I prefer valor style for DBs, and put mushromancer on a lot of my sets. Your only method of farming dash extracts apart from capturing dozens of ludroth or gypceros is using meownster hunters, which nets you on average about 0.9 dash extract per hunt, assuming you're lucky enough to get a gypceros hunt in the first place and assuming you also perfectly place all of your cats.
Also worth mentioning that the best DPS for DBs is A X X X repeat or (special attack button X X) A X X X repeat in demon mode for most styles (particularly striker and guild, basically this means that unless you're having trouble staying in one place and damaging a weakpoint with the spinning blade dances, demon dance is a dps loss compared to spamming the spin as much as possible), and (XA X) XA X X etc for valor (chaining the spin and demon dance repeatedly), and that for most styles (not aerial) you have to press the special attack button to do the spinning blade dance while in demon mode without using the A jumping spins first. IIRC in World you always do the spinning blade dance with both attack buttons, whether you're in demon mode or not, though I didn't play them very much in World.
These are nice even for veterans as a little refresher

Hey dude, Currently at 3 star low rank.. Do you recommend any early dual blades I should focus on? Mu styles is adept/brave.. And currently wearing Jaggi set for that Attack (s).. I just need a good weapon to invest to.
Depends on the monster you are fighting. Iirc fire, lightnig, blast, and dragon cover most monster weaknesses
Agnaktor DB's are excellent for Fire element iirc. In the early game you can get by using the Fated Four db's just fine. Note that considering DB's are very elemental focused, you'll probably want to craft more then just 1 pair.

It is from "Final Fantasy XIII", but I don't know which track it is.
The difference is that MHXX/GU is older than MH5 and MH5 is completely different. Technology, tactics, and basically everything but the core essentials are different.
ALSO MHXX got rid of all the USJ quests so uhhh a good chunk of my weapons and armour are just gone.

Herny could you tell me which controller do you use to play mh on the switch? I dont feel the "default" one very conforable...
I've been using the pro controller my dude, I usually don't mind the joycons, but rather not use them for hunting.

I think you didn't really talk enough about dB in world. You didn't mention how we've got a new demon dance, how you can do the land Beyblade backwards...

Please do the best weapon, which is the Bow, in case it wasn't obvious. World totally changed the Bow, down to the core, so the differences between the two games will be immense. Also please don't shit on Pierce arrows too much sempai, I love them and they got buffed. Heavy arrows are the most fun, though!

Yes and yes but thats what i like about the older games they were harder lol i love how people think behemoth and devjho from the world are hard, i say to them try fighting chaotic gore magala then come talk to me
@@matthewlugo2417 yeah he meant more difficult to control yourself and play the game, not in terms of harder enemies.
@@helveticastandard388 stiffer is gameplay and harder is monsters themselves everything was simplified for world for a more casual audience
i remember people shitting on Mhgen because the style make the game more casual
@@therealsausage98 style didnt bother me it was cool just the game needed more content and better opening cutscenes for each monster like mh4u still my fav when it comes to amount of fun ive had
