Hey guys! Hope you enjoyed the video. I know many people on stream were asking when I would do more Hunts in the AM videos,
and now that I stream more often I figured I could do some twitch versions where I stream late at night and
make a video out of it, along with how I used to record them as well. Plus I know twitch highlight kind of content is nice for those who would like to watch stream but can't cuz of time constraints.

I remember my first time gunning in a game. It was in MHXX/GU when I had to deal with the Dreadqueen. After my fourth time praying the time to get up off the ground, put my weapon away, switch over to and use my antidote took less time than my remaining health to tick down (It wasn't. It never was.) I figured "Welp I can never get close to that thing!"
So I built a gun, armor, and farmed some charms and decoration materials.
*THAT DREADQUEEN BETTER APPRECIATE HOW MUCH MONEY AND TIME I'M PUTTING INTO KILLING HER! THIS MAY AS WELL BE A GOD-DAMN WEDDING PROPOSAL BECAUSE I'M INVESTED IN SEEING THIS THROUGH TO THE END NOW!*
I started playing as Gunner until I saw a video on how to farm " Latchberrys " then I quickly switched to SnS
The only reason I never tried playing gunner was because of the farming you have to do lmao
@@aurahero9842 You can, but only on specific guns and certainly not for HBG, since you can't siege your internal ammo lol.
@@aurahero9842 Sigh, I love HBG in concept but my true love was Valor HBG, not the weird, slow, scoped spread thing that World has. Glutton was fun and all but nothing beats shooting down range at a Jho for 10 minutes. The run, the slide, the firing rate, it was all so fucking stylish. If Valor HBG came back with Mouse and Keyboard controls I'd be going insane, but that'll never happen because of how disgustingly broken Valor HBG was in GU lol.
If you keep the trading carts on latchberries + huskberries you get 9~ per quest, if you mix it up with some melee runs, or keep some variety with melee or bow, you should build a healthy stockpile of pierce 1 materials
But yeah i think it would have been a better option to make them buyable, i think even MHFU had this
isnt it possible to buy ammo at hub saw pierce 3 and all there

This was me for bow in MHW, especially Iceborne. I’ve literally never liked bow or really any gunner weapon until the mobility updates in MHW, and then I went from a strictly GS main into a bow and lbg main
As a LBG main these are always painful/hilarious to watch. I remember trying to main bg back in MH1 for the PS2 and lemme tell you what, that shit was a nightmare to learn but it helped me get so much better at the game. LBG4lyfe!

People complained about how broken Long Sword is in Rise. Well, they clearly have not seen how absolutely bonkers Valor HBG is, especially when paired with a status gunner. Here's an example of just how nuts it can be:
Bloodbath Diablos EX is by far the hardest hunt in the game. Even teams of HR 999 Hunters will have trouble besting him on the best of days.
I went into a room with three random folks from China or Taiwan. Me and two of them were Valor HBG - me and one of them using Orcus Quarcus (the Rare 9 Zinogre HBG), and the other used the Diablastazooka (Diablos HBG), while the LBG user was using God's Archipelago as a status gunner.
We took down Bloodbath inside of five minutes with no carts - the status gunner kept him off balance with Para, Sleep, KO (from Crag shots) and Flash Bombs, while we HBGers just pumped our rounds into the poor soul's tail (which is actually fairly weak to Shot damage).
Man, I don't get how people can go years without using some weapons at all in this game.

Same with my first (which was 4U, I'm new but I've gone back and played most of the series since then and have over 3k hours across all titles already), and the only weapon I didn't keep using was switchaxe, though I don't use GS very much either. I generally prefer to wait til high rank to use gunner weapons, but it's not like low rank lasts long.
Honestly, HBG, DB, and Hammer are the only weapons I’ve ever seriously used
In tri, I mained sns until I got swaxe
In 4u, I mained IG until charge blade clicked
In GU, gunlance was the only one I really learned
In world, I learned hammer and tried to bring it back to my previous games
Lance is always gross
I briefly got into some boguns and bows for the first time in MHW... only because the controls changed...
I just got Monster GU on my Switch Lite and your videos are sooooo helpful. Can't wait to get into this and then go back to Monster Hunter World and feel the differences for myself lol

At least you got to choose when you wanted to learn. I was forced to solo the Apex Jho arena quest in 4u with the HBG because my internet was down for a moth and i wanted the barrage earring for an elemental ChargeBlade set. The hilarious thing is i went through so much shit trying to complete that quest that i swore to never touch hbg again as long as i live.

Back in 4u when I first started playing I learned switch axe. Didn't go too far in village, went online and got absolutely destoyed. That was when I started playing gun so I could stay out of the thick of things and not ruin the hun for others. Still love gun and bow in general but I've learned to play just about anything

First gunning experience was in freedom unite. I legit dropped it until 3 ultimate when I realised it was the only good weapon under water. Picked it back up in Generations (not ultimate) and I bloody rocked striker style
This is too weird, I’m doing a solo gunner playthrough for the first time ever in MH4U ( and funny enough I’m using the zinogre HBG as well :/ ), but it’s a lotta fun learning new ways to play. Hope life’s going well, good luck with the music teaching!
I just started heavy bow gunning in MHGU and it’s been really fun
Got into Bow this game like a week ago for the first time. Hardcore longsword main and now adding bow to that, it’s a nice mix up. I may try hbg or lbg as well.
Yeah i used to main switch axe and insect glaive recently i made a generations character dedicated to lbg and hbg and it's do fun. Especially when you start playing half decently.

You have to get the monster watching at you when you fire pierce ammo, so the bullet do more damage, and with the spred ammo (don't remember the name) you just have to get closer.

I can’t be a gunner. Crit distance, weak armor, and monotonous gameplay, also it makes me feel like a wuss, sitting back while other people wail on the monster.
I was a melee (CB, DB, LS, GS, and IG) user, but after i knew how much damage and how fast a gunner can do to kill the monster in a run, i now rarely using melee or using melee just for fun... Btw about feeling beeing a wuss/running around, cuz what can u do with a 1 hit kill def? Just take it on like every blademaster does? Yea I'm triggered

para, sleep
wyvern fire
and spread
set i like is some xeno jiiva n stuff for:
Attack
Artillery
Free element/ Load up
Razor sharp/ Spare shot
Special ammo boost (comes with xeno so a nice extra)
Peak performance
also for brave reload timing im hearing the start of shostakovich 2nd waltz, but maybe a little slow, and the timing is on the 3rd quater note,
