How to get a Cowl Neck Pattern by draping!

  • The cowl is such a sexy design that can add some beautiful design elements! This is most successful as a bias cut design so that you are working with the fabric to create those lovely folds! I show you ho to make sure you are using the bias as you drape and different ways to control your design as you are creating your new lovely garment! Never draped before? No problem! This is a great entry level drape that gives you a dramatic effect! I hope you enjoy!

    So of course, because I'm me, I want to do the bias part in plaid and work that as the front piece into my princess seam bodice block with the plaid NOT on the bias for the sides, and maybe go back to bias for the centre back piece! :) I bet the mockup house dress would be very comfy if I made it out of flannel!
