Hello there! Sticky back canvas is almost impossible to find. It used to be made by Ranger. You could use regular canvas or fabric as an alternative or bookbinding tape and even patterned paper. All will work, just follow the same directions. Thanks for watching!
Hi! Love your video. I was wondering if I could do same with fabric as well? Is the sticky tape you used good for fabric? Thank you New sub!!!! Merry Christmas
Hi there! I use chipboard because it's sturdy. You could try some heavyweight card stock, you will just have more bend. You could also use cardboard or plastic like what you would find in a divider or a folder. Hope that helps!
Hi there! This is the Simple Stories 'Beautiful' collection which is from Fall 2017. I'm not sure it would be available anymore but there are many more great collections to use!
Hi Regine! I believe that would work if it is not super thick. The bookbinding tape and sticky back canvas are very thin and flexible so the book will bend easily in those areas. If you use something thin enough, that doesn't tear easily, it should work great. I've never done it but you could try duck tape as well.
Hi Stephanie! I used a crop-o-dile and used the small hole punch for the elastic threads and the large hole punch for the elastic band. If you are just using elastic thread for everything, I would recommend the small hole punch. Hope that helps!
Hi there. The tape I used is scor-tape. It is a double sided adhesive and is available online at scrapbook.com, amazon or simonsaysstamp.com. I believe you can also buy it at Joann’s or hobby lobby.

Thanks for subscribing! Yes, I believe you could make one with fabric. The tape is super sticky and should hold the fabric well.

Hi. Thank you for the tutorial. Can you substitute adhesive vinyl for the bookbinding tape and for the sticky back canvas? Thanks

What size did you use for the holes?
