Thank you so much for making this tutorial!!! I'm going to make mine a little different, but before watching your video, I had NO idea how to make a TN. Now I have just the right amount of knowledge from you to make the one I want. 😊 You made it so simple to understand and follow! Thank you!
When you were talking about why you hadn’t done the video yet I understand partly from me personally, I couldn’t be bothered if have the patience to edit a video, hear myself speaking etc, even though I teach crafts & jewellery making and being a teacher in schools for years. One of my cousins in Ukraine is in the armed forces there, he was talking about making a channel, but I’d have to do the editing and translation. The thought of it made me feel stressed 😩 😂 I would have done it because it’s only fair to do it, but I’ve been glad he’s decided not to. 😂
A bradawl I’ve used a metal skewer too, sometimes over a lump of blu tack or in the classroom the gap between the desks I think you got it from the jewellery making section because of people using it to make holes in leather etc 😁
Thank you for sharing this video. Now I Know how to add others books into one book . I'm glad I came across your channel. I want to make my own prayer binder note book and study bible note journal book. Thank you for sharing this video
I have made smaller ones before and I wanted to make more but larger. Thank you so much for the video now I know how to make larger ones and already made some. Love the size I made which was 4 x 6.I found nice blank books at Amazon.
Many thanks for making this video I forgot I had a hold pincher Like the one you bought. I use my book as a prayer book And to write scripture from the Bible. Watching from Puerto Rico. God bless you.
Good teaching video. I'm doing the laminated version like yours and one that is modge podged scrapbook paper heat sealed onto kraft paper or watercolor paper for thickness. One video actually heat sealed 100 lb paper to leather!
@@PlanningWithEli28 Our Dollar Tree sells the "almost" personal size Date Planners, I think they are called. I'm using one of those then making my own notebooks for them. Makes a nice gift.
I really liked how these came out and they super cute. I am thinking about doing these for my little girls. They are just like me and love to write in notepads and they love sticker books. This would be great for them without spending the money on a leather cover for them. SOmething fun and durable. I love your videos. Super helpful and fun.
Definitely and it's a good way to introduce them to planner like you said without spending money. I bought my daughter a whole planner and stickers washi etc and she didn't like it as much as she thought she would so she gave it to me lol. Your welcome thank you!😉❤
You can use a small folded piece of wire to thread the elastic thru the small holes. Awesome instructions tho!!! I love how clearly your instructions are!!! Thank you
Terrific tutorial, Eli! I gutted an old notebook and am going to use your instructions to make the faux-leather cover into a travelers notebook cover. Thank you! -Pam

You made this look so easy and I appreciate it, now I can make my own. As far as the tool you used, what is it called? I checked your description but it does not say, I know you mentioned it but I thought I could find it in the description it would be helpful, also what size elastic is that you used? Awesome tutorials!!
Thanks! This video was a long while ago which tool did you mean. Let's see I used the needle pointer to make the holes. You can also use a crop a dile if you have one. For the elastic I just search elastic cording and buy the thin one I think its 25mm length and 1mm diameter.

Wow that's amazing 9 beautiful grand daughters may God Bless them and your family always!💖 Well the way I do it, is based on the amount of inserts I will be using. Why didn’t you use 2 sided paper? I have never made one, I’m trying to learn. 😀
Because sometimes the Michael's paperpads are not double sided. Sometimes I do use double sided it all depends on happy using either one. 😉😄
How many lines total do you have in the middle
For the elastic band? you can do 2 or 3 whatever fits the size of your cover.
Please, do a TN Plan w/me.
Ok I'll put it on my list. 😉😄
