I love your video. It is so easy to follow !!
I got my laminator at Wal-Mart. If you ordered it and picked it up at the store the same day, it was $18.99 and you got a pack of 100 laminating sheets with it. I've had it for a while, but now I know what I'll be using it for.
Thank you again for the awesome tutorial !!!

Loved your video!!! I had bought a zillion Carpe Diem TN’s (which I love) for myself and gifts but this was a fun project to make and giveaway to friends. I’ve not made 6 of these and shocked at how easy they were to make and how cute they turned out. I bought the inserts from Michael’s clearance aisle (4 for $3.97) so I adjusted the size to fit the inserts. I also made a few dashboards for each as well. Thank you for sharing your creativity!

Thank you for this.....The tape trick was awesome. I used a piece of twine to pull the elastic thread through the middle hole. Meaning I made a loop with the twine, threaded the elastic in the loop and used the twine ends as a needle to pull the elastic through. I hope that makes sense and it didn't risk my ruining my cover buy poking it.

Love the laminated TN's. Use a scrap piece of laminate behind the one you want rounded and the front will punch nice and the scrap will be the one that doesn't punch all the way. My punch does the same thing. I love all the paper. I really need to subscribe and get the kits. I love making travelers notebooks. I make a template to punch the holes so I done have to measure every time. TFS.

This is so helpful for making inserts for EH's TN Journal Cover! This is just what I needed! You're a doll! P.S. I love the way you inserted your ribbon bow through the cover elastic, so cute! For anyone that is interested, Eileen did a tutorial on her Facebook page ie. Eileen Hull Designs (April 5, 2018 I think) on how to make the cover laminated using her die.

To thread elastic through hole, loop some dental floss and put the elastic through the loop the thread the dental floss through the middle hole, pulling the elastic through your hole.
If you want quality paper in your planner, you can buy Burrows 100gsm paper by the ream or box. You can use it in your printer. You can also use fountain pens on the paper. Using about 48gsm paper is idea. I have niticed the better inserts use 100gsm paper.

Bought a faux TN to try out the system and was so disappointed with it because the leather is so soft and flimsy.... It would be a while for my next trip to Japan thus I was quite unwilling to get the TN from the local stores cause i would rather spend the price difference on accessories or refills for my TN.. I thought I was resorted to using my passport sized TN till my trip to Japan this year end but I am so happy I came across your video!! Thank you so much for this video!!!!

mydyisgod , that was probably the name, and I had a sample of one I made (many years ago, I don't know where I placed it), and it was definitely using the amcient stitching used in old Egypt. There are so many beautiful techniques to choose from. In any case, I love when old meets new, and how you have incorporated one with the other!
