Never heard of the scuba ringer before. As always, you deliver a comprehensive and objective analysis of the weapon and its capability. Have to say, I was surprised by its power. Would be awesome to see this being used on your SUP adventures in the lakes for carp and perch, that are then cooked traditionally over an open fire.

Arrows with field points that screw in can achieve greater accuracy if you increase the FOC (Forward Of Center) weight. Instead of a 100 grain point you might try a 175, 200, or a 250 grain. It will increase the recoil and reduce the arrow speed, but will have much better flight for accuracy, and increased momentum to achieve better penetration on fish and coconuts, ha.

Interesting powerful weapon which can be highly effective at close range , the hunting of animals if you can get close enough it would be powerful enough , for self defence at close up yes it would be effective.

Hi, Vanessa! Perhaps instead of arrows you could find a ball bearing in the same diameter of the arrows that it shoots and wedge the ball bearing in the arrow holder. If you cannot find a ball bearing of the same diameter, you could use a patch, just like a smooth-bore musket pistol. Only thing is, though, I doubt those arrow holders are rifled, so accuracy would be just as bad as with the arrows above water, I think. Here in the USA, they sell what they call PCP air rifles. They are essentially big bore pellet guns, and I KNOW how much fun you have shooting pellets! Can you have one of these in Germany? Much love from the USA! ❤🤍💙 Rock on, Vanessa!
