Jorg is an extremely knowledgeable guy although saying he is not a archer, knowing how a bow works is all you need to know as the rest is practise to be able if needs be to put something in the cooking pot. For you to say it could be better even a pro archer can always say that as I always do. I'm no pro but pull 120 lb bow of my country, which is an English war bow and have done for years however your first try would put something in the pot. Alot think it is upper arm, but it is more upper back and neck you need to build, then a touch of both. Look forward to the next video but this first one looks OK to me. Well done you. Arthur (UK)

To hunt deer in Maryland, USA the Law says 42 lbs or higher.. I use 60lbs, my father used 70lbs.

Excellent, you did great on your first time, your arm and string pull strength will get better as you practice, after that is all muscle memory, I Do believe his inventions are great and that would be good on my 50 pound recurve bow for fast reloads during deer and bear season here in America, thanks for sharing..

Great video, Vanessa. Jörg is a great instructor for bow training. You just require daily practice to build strength, and stability to become proficient enough, then gradually increase the draw weight. This will add an entirely new dimension to your channel. I know you have the discipline to master the bow. Enjoy your weekend. Prost!

More than muscles, Vanessa, you would get better shots and less strain from turning your body to be perpendicular to your target.

Jorg really torn. I have been evaluating. The Whip Shoot the Adder and the Siege and just cannot decide. Like them all but can only buy one. Looking for home defense and hitting power and ranges out to 50 yards. Any ideas?

I would suggest that you learn more about archery and the best bow for you. I would also suggest that you learn with a more plane bow setup and not the rapid shot like the one in the video.
Get the basics down first.
Check with survival Lilly maybe, she shoots archery on a more basic setup

This is great! So, high-tech. In my city, there's a bow range, named Maya Archers, Roseville, CA, nice area in the 'burbs, targets set up thru outdoors acres, to simulate hunting game, and close-target range. There's a public open-space/bike trail along a creek I walk the dog on...[my ancestors are Maya!]

Hi Vanessa, Great bow for hunting but definitely not for Survival. There are too many moving parts. If one of those parts break, the bow becomes useless. The bow needs to be simple. One must ask themselves "Can I fix my bow in the field or in the middle of nowhere?" If the answer is "No", then it is not for survival. If I have to carry that, then I'll bring along my 30-06 rifle. It would kill anything that moves. 🙂Thanks

I don't understand the "disclaimer" at the beginning of this video. It is not "illegal" to hunt game in Germany, as a matter of fact, it is a bustling and thriving industry based on centuries of hunting and stalking tradition. It seems strange to me that you would include a disclaimer in your video that gives false information and makes it seem as though there is something "wrong" with responsibly hunting and harvesting game animals, while at the same time, putting on make believe hunting scenarios. Is Wild Woman Bushcraft against the sport of hunting? I'm sorry if I have misconstrued your stance, but you are definitely sending mixed signals
There is nothing wrong. It is illegal to do Bow- Hunting in Germany.
