Agree! I was a Samoyed breeder, had 3 GSD's, and over a year ago, I got a Belgian Malinois. My husband and I are very experienced. We are retired, so we are home all the time.Contracted a personal dog trainer beforehand. Knew what we were getting. Got a dog treadmill. Very tough breed. A challenge for us. We've had our moments. I wouldn't recommend for a first time owner. We are doing well with him, but it's a lot of work. He's a character and an amazing dog.

Tyler was absolutely brilliant in offering his time & energy to rehabilitate Narnia.
I was shocked when she said she would put Narnia before her dad. I expect she was a spoilt daddy’s girl & her comment could be a slap in the face to her dad. Tyler will find another sweet girl who would appreciate his kind nature. Hope all goes well in the future for Narnia!!

It's not binary, they both took on responsibilities beyond their current capabilities. In the end, none of it matters when people and/or animals are harmed. It wasn't taken seriously by the daughter until after HER dog was injured... which is another matter all together.

Thank God Cesar Millan agreed to take on this case.
Not only did he corrected the dog's horrible, aggressive behaviour, he also corrected the owner's negative behavior along with her parent's negative behavior.
Otherwise, that animal should've been 😂😂placed with someone who knows how to care for an aggressive dog, period.
But, for this girl to say she'd rather END her relationship with her dad than to over what's right for his daughter😊 is absolutely 100% appalling.

They did the right thing though as apparently one of the options the dad gave her was to get rid off the dog by kicking it out of the house. Imagine he would have done that. That dog would have slaughtered so many people's dogs out there. That was the worst thing anyone could have considered in that circumstance. Thankfully they had the money to pay for some professional dog training. One of my dogs was attacked once and nearly lost her life. It took me over 10 years to feel more comfortable around pitbulls in general again... I had to dive into the personality of each one - two different walks - two different feedings - it was an insane year.
But - so much truth when it comes to having to be stronger than the dogs will to control a situation. I’m lucky I educated myself and now we have much milder dogs. But it took TIME. People think they can look up how to train and boom - they can do it. Nope. It’s about the inner leader that really counts with these types of breeds. It made me a more confident woman for sure. We still have behavior problems that I’m struggling to get control of - but if I didn’t dedicate my patience in that first year. We would’ve had way bigger problems.

It’s ridiculous is what it is especially since she couldn’t handle the dog and obviously her mother couldn’t either so to expect the dad to just go along with it is very wrong for both of them. It shows she’s very immature. Her dad has been in her life all those years raising her and she’s ready to give her dad up for a dog who may live 10-15 years. Shame on her. She’s the one who let it get so bad and it was her dad who asked for help. My daughter loves animals but even at 13 years old she wouldn’t have said anything close to what this girl said about never having her dad in her life again. I felt bad for the dad and the boyfriend.

You can't say that for all fathers. I would certainly protect my dog from my father.

I've had a mix of this. My dad is VERY old school at times and years ago went to kick my dog as a correction... which I shut down very quickly (caused a lot of tension for a while, but eventually sorted everything out). Years later I got another dog and the 2 refused to get along (i had to break up a few fights between a 90lb rottie and 50lb gsd). Because of the dynamic and the situation with the newer one, I gave my older dog (rottie) to my parents and they both (parents and dog) love the new situation. The girl needs to think of the best solution for the dog, not just her feelings. I hate not having my rottie with me but she's much happier with the extra attention and without the small gsd around. AND she's with someone I trust with her

The daughter doesn’t know anything about dogs! She acts like a 10-year old.

My dog was exactly like this dog when we first got her! I'm not sure if my husband and I should've been the best fit for her but boy did we learn how to be. She still acts out today but thankfully we have a trainer who did a great job with helping us get a handle of the situation and watching these videos are great refreshers. Especially this one!

She has no, absolutely no knowledge about dogs, about control, about discipline, about education, ( about anything?), but she gets a pitie! That´s insane!!

That's exactly what I just commented. She seems quite amused that her dog wants to kill everything around her, for her. 2 month old pup was a blank slate. She created the monster, intentionally IMO because it fed her ego.

This mother and daughter are going to get this dog unalived from being dangerous in the wrong hands! It’s very grating on my nerves to watch them smirk when they absolutely should not be like talking about the attacks and all it’s not being protective or cute or funny!🤬
