Not sure what to think when the mom says “I always wanted a pitbull.” Something is wrong there. That combined with the father’s threat to open the door and shove the dog out in the street, and the girl’s response to that indicates a family I’d want no part of.
I think the mom is weak and insecure, and feels that having a powerful dog will make her stronger. Her over-reaction to the bite the dog got shows an unhealthy relationship with the animal.
She obviously is clueless of the fact that her Dad could get sued if Nony hurts another dog or person. She should really appreciate the effort her Dad is making even if it doesn’t work out. Her threat of cutting of the relationship shows her immaturity.

The nerve of this girl to talk about severing her relationship with her father when she has no idea how to control that dog. She is so oblivious it's cringey
It's ridiculous how she said that she would cut off her relationship with her dad if he got rid of the dog. Her dad does not want that dog hurting his family.
They did the right thing though as apparently one of the options the dad gave her was to get rid off the dog by kicking it out of the house. Imagine he would have done that. That dog would have slaughtered so many people's dogs out there. That was the worst thing anyone could have considered in that circumstance. Thankfully they had the money to pay for some professional dog training. One of my dogs was attacked once and nearly lost her life. It took me over 10 years to feel more comfortable around pitbulls in general again... Truly scary when people who have no experience with dogs get themselves one of the hardest breeds to control out there...
I had to toughen up when I saved two dogs. They were brother and sister - pit/dane/shepard mix - but mostly pit personality. I had to dive into the personality of each one - two different walks - two different feedings - it was an insane year. But - so much truth when it comes to having to be stronger than the dogs will to control a situation. I’m lucky I educated myself and now we have much milder dogs. But it took TIME. People think they can look up how to train and boom - they can do it. Nope. It’s about the inner leader that really counts with these types of breeds. It made me a more confident woman for sure. We still have behavior problems that I’m struggling to get control of - but if I didn’t dedicate my patience in that first year. We would’ve had way bigger problems.

For them to break up after this crisis with the dogs is better than if they'd gone on and only found out they weren't suited to one another after having one or more children. At least this way, they can both go on with their life and find someone who is more of a match. The boyfriend seemed like a really good guy, the way he cared for her when her dog was hurt. Cesar's read and timing to stop the attack before it happens always wows me. I love seeing dogs that had to be handed over to Cesar permanently hanging out with the pack now being chill and helping other dogs.
She will regret that statement she made about her father. That was incredibly disrespectful and hurtful. I cannot imagine how that made her dad feel. She has a LOT of growing up to do. YIKES
I was surprised by that comment too. It was a situation that none of them were able to control and she took it out on her father. Putting her dog's life before her father's and generally any human at all.
They might have long resolved that. No point to jump to conclusions if you're not in the room where it happens. And nobody was around when they had their conversations about the future of the dog. The girl felt like the pup was her baby and we all know that moms get VERY protective of their little ones. So of course there were great emotions involved when Dad threatened to kick the dog out of the family, or worse. This has nothing to do with age. I walked a bigger dog at the age of 14. You have to be able to show these types of breeds whose the boss once they get out of control. So yes, bring your belt. You can't feel sorry for the dog in that moment because an out of control breed like that could turn into a killing machine if not handled accordingly.
It's not chronological age that is important. I meet and controlled 2 German shepherds in 2 different areas of the country. One when I was15 the other at 17. They were both dodgy but I handled them both, but after I left each area, both owners sent them to the vet.
There are too many dog owners who have no clue how to raise a dog, with those dogs becoming a danger to the rest of us. This girl is one of them. I've had a mix of this. My dad is VERY old school at times and years ago went to kick my dog as a correction... which I shut down very quickly (caused a lot of tension for a while, but eventually sorted everything out). Years later I got another dog and the 2 refused to get along (i had to break up a few fights between a 90lb rottie and 50lb gsd). Because of the dynamic and the situation with the newer one, I gave my older dog (rottie) to my parents and they both (parents and dog) love the new situation. The girl needs to think of the best solution for the dog, not just her feelings. I hate not having my rottie with me but she's much happier with the extra attention and without the small gsd around. AND she's with someone I trust with her
My dog was exactly like this dog when we first got her! I'm not sure if my husband and I should've been the best fit for her but boy did we learn how to be.

As soon as I heard the mom bought it while she was out shopping I thought uh oh…. Pitt’s are amazing dogs but you have to know what you’re doing.
After all that, thank God, the baby survived. What a blessing that was an angel sent from up above
The father needs to leave, and quickly. The mother and daughter didn't respect his decision to not get a dog, and then she said she'd choose the aggressive dog over her father. The boyfriend made a GREAT choice to get outta dodge.
I agree! The dad and boyfriend are shown no respect.
My impression: overbearing father, jello mother, little girl in over her head, and bf who put so much time and effort to help her is better off with someone who will appreciate him.
@fuzzipariah The father looks anything but overbearing.
He's made of jello as well.

Clueless girl. Choosing a dangerous dog over her father. Nope.
She’s a teenager…of course she’s clueless. Actually, both the girl and the Dad are clueless. Dad could have hired a trainer as soon as this behavior started thus showing her he loves her…before waiting for Cesar. It’s ignorant, bad people who create “dangerous” dogs. When I say ignorant people I’m talking about people like you…🙄

Cesar, you eat, sleep and dream dogs. Your explanation of Nonni curling around and going over the top for a bite was spot on. I rewound it back 5-6 times to see it. You saw what that dog was gonna do within a second. Brilliant!
What a idiot for a young girl to have a dog like that. She is putting other people in danger.
The more I watch your videos, the more I'm amazed by your knowledge of dogs. I'm looking forward to a new episode.
I love how Cesar is always positive and is not judged mental and really cares for the owners and dogs ❤
This woman is in no condition to have a pitbull or any other large dog. For this woman, they have to be small dogs, dogs that do not pose a risk to others.
Really? No risk to others? I took on my first 5 year old small dog, a Yorkie. Did she have to learn a few lessons. Oddly, she turned out one of my best dogs I'd had in 50 years of keeping dogs.
Jack Russells can be aggressive as well though
She's in no Condition to have a bf either
Insecure people create insecure dogs....no dog should have to live that way. It's just wrong.

Not trying to be all judgey and hubristic. But we have heard of these things happening is all. Even based on my own anecdotal exp, yeah, they can bve great and nice, but are often also high energy, high reactivity, and high strength.
I was listening to an an owner talking once and laughing about how his pitbull "just didn't know her own strength" and she shook this little dog till pieces of it were flying off. Bad owner obviously... The "I'm a big bad gangster," type. Who knows. He may have been trying to scare me due to how comfy and loving I was w his dog.
I agree. The mom dropped the ball. Putting that responsibility on a young woman, no wonder she didn’t have the presence to control the dog. I’m glad the daughter stepped up to learn though.

Let's not go overboard, that's a fine daughter they've raised. Maturity comes with experience.
@@hide3reptiles365 maturity comes with understanding your limits.
Some people are not cut out to handle animals.
Let’s be realistic.
@@MTGWithMike understanding your limits is an expression of maturity, not a cause of it. And just because this power breed is too much for this specific girl right now, doesn't mean she has no business handling any animal, ever. Given that she's a perfectly normal human. If you're opposed to any and all ownership for some other wildly irresponsible person that's on your mind, then go ahead and make that argument. But what does it have to do with her?
@@hide3reptiles365 ? Your reach is odd and your comprehension of basic word seems to be sub par…

Or are you just being a white knight for no reason?
This dad saved the situation by getting help for them all. And the family got healed along with the dog. Very nice
No, he didn't save anything because he was TOO weak from the very beginning and only stepped up at the very last minute.............................
The girl is too young to handle a dog like that. The father should have jumped in right away. Who does she think she is? I think she needs some training. I fear there will be more episodes with this dog. This dog needs a strong person like Cesar.
Commenting to please the algorithm gods: You're right she doesn't have the ability, but the only way she'll learn is if she tries by herself. I think part of the reason she is so inept is because mommy and daddy have been jumping in too much.
Thank you so much for this video! This was my household before I got professional help!
There are too many dog owners who have no clue how to raise a dog, with those dogs becoming a danger to the rest of us. This girl is one of them. Maybe she should rather get one of those 'purse' dogs. In this case it seems Nani may also have been taken away from her mother too soon, she was never disciplined by another dog.
Tyler is the big winner in this deal. He deserves so much better! 🎉
Yes! 😊
OMG imagine if Tyler married her. Thank God he escaped.
Maybe he only liked the baby girl in her and her becoming stronger was a turn off. Whatever happened, she was stronger in the end.

An aggressive pitbull that’s allowed up on the couch and bed with a bunch of petting and affection by mom & daughter.
You guys know she behaves horribly/dangerously on walks - WHY does she get so much privilege inside the house?? You can’t expect to have a well behaved dog who listens when you give them *undeserved* rewards and NO LEADERSHIP
I love dogs and would fight tooth and nail to protect them but I would never sacrifice the relationship between myself and my father for the sake of a dog, especially knowing my father was simply scared for my own well being and learning that it was my own energy that was provoking the aggressive behavior. Her father stood by her through this whole learning experience for her and the dog. However, I think she did well working on her energy. I believe I would have a problem curbing my own energy. I'm not sure I have ever been fully "calm". Not even while asleep. Cesar did such a remarkable job reading dogs and people. He has an amazing talent and it comes from his heart.
Blah blah blah
You can't say that for all fathers. I would certainly protect my dog from my father.
AND she's with someone I trust with her
The daughter doesn’t know anything about dogs! She acts like a 10-year old.
My dog was exactly like this dog when we first got her! I'm not sure if my husband and I should've been the best fit for her but boy did we learn how to be. She still acts out today but thankfully we have a trainer who did a great job with helping us get a handle of the situation and watching these videos are great refreshers. Especially this one!
She has no, absolutely no knowledge about dogs, about control, about discipline, about education, ( about anything?), but she gets a pitie! That´s insane!!
This girl smiles when she talks about the attacks
She’s psycho
That's exactly what I just commented. She seems quite amused that her dog wants to kill everything around her, for her. 2 month old pup was a blank slate. She created the monster, intentionally IMO because it fed her ego.
