- I had to make a pit stop at one of the most featured lakes on instagram, Lago di Braies. I expected to be let down but the Lake's beauty blew me away! After I headed to Tre Cime di Laveredo to do some crazy hiking at Cadini Di Misurina. I hope you enjoy the Dolomites Vlog!

It's interesting to see the different approach we Italians have towards the mountains. We respect and fear them as if they were old powerful giants. We keep silence and act in a sort of deferential way. They show us the might of nature, reminding us the toll Nature takes from us every once in a while.

I am planning a trip to Italy next year and am going to spend two days in the Dolomites, I want to do 1 day in Seceda and 1 day to see Lago di Braies and hike either Tre cime di Lavaredo or Cadini di Misurina. Which do you recommend seeing more Tre cime or Misurina?

@@RyanShirley I'm from the Dolomites but live in the Uk currently. When you were at the Tre Cime di Lavaredo you may have notice a small town by a green lake deep down in the valley, that's where I was born. Where in The States are you from?

Reinis Kaspars what’s up man! I’m so stoked you are going there! If you go to the main refuge by the parking lot in Tre Cime Di Laverdo Park. You’ll be able to see the mountains from the refuge. Follow the trail there and then just take the trail down to the bottom to the mountains in the video. I’ll see if I can find the name in the trail but DM me in Instagram @shirley.films if you have more questions

I especially loved the path you were on in this video from 1:34 - 3:10 and I really want the chance to climb it while Im there. Do you remember the name of the path and where in the dolomites I need to go to get on it? Also curious how long it took to get up and come back down? Keep up the great work your videos are always mind-blowing!
Hey Aidan! That makes me so happy! So that path is in the Tre Cime di Laveredo Park. And I don't know the name of the path, but if you go to the Refuge at the park, you'll be able to see those mountains from the video. Theres a trail that leads to them, so just walk along the trail and you'll be able to see the path that I went. It took me about 2 hours round trip so nothing to crazy. Matthias 2Baus thanks Matthias! I manually adjusted the iso and shutter for each shot making sure it wasn’t too exposed and then I used the cinematic 25 lut in adobe premiere to color it

Mateo they are both amazing. The Dolomites are definitely cheaper. And all of the main attractions in the Dolomites are pretty close to each other. You should just do both !
Oh yeah, I was wondering which one was cheaper too. Of course i'll do both, but i think I'll go first to the Dolomites, and then save more money for Switzerland ! Thank's a lot for your advises man ;)

I’m not promoting that for business, but for safety of everyone seeing your amazing footage. And also try always not to end a hike like that too late in the day, darkness can be a problem.
