I bought one myself as it absolutely will not stop a theft, but at least a bird can't take off with it or knock It to the ground.
Thanks for this video! It helped answer my question about using the Wasserstein anti-mount with their wall-mount, so I can hang it from an eave instead mounting it a wall.

How do you take the camera down in order to recharge?
You have to unscrew the lock to take it down. It can be a headache. I'd recommend the solar panel so you don't have to take it down.
On page 2 of the instruction booklet under the topic of Pre-Installation are instructions to “Peel the plastic protection layers away from the silicone holders inside the Anti-Theft Mount.” You didn’t address that. Personally I do not understand that instruction.
I must say... I don't recall any plastic on the silicone holders lol.
There wasn't any plastic on my silicon holders either weird.
I installed it Today and it was great until night time : now the image is blur, foggy presumably because the green light is reflecting on the top of the Wasserstein mount. Anyone else has experienced that?

It can still be taken down to charge or plug in a cable to charge with this device.

@@Elephantmoonlight No, it has a little screw that you can unscrew to take it down. Depending on the location of your camera, it can be a headache. Mine is right on my porch, so it isn't to bad. Waiting on the solar panel so I don't have to take it down to charge.
Yeah to be honest I just bought the weatherproof cable so I don’t have to worry about that. Let’s you have the 24/7 recording too

@@BigCVlogs hey mate, which question. Do you use nest aware? Does it allow to record 24/7 with solar? I read it’s only when it’s “wired”, which is shit considering solar should be considered wired

I just bought this but absolutely cannot understand how anyone thinks this can stop a theft. You can still remove the camera from the magnet and just slide the camera out! WTF?! It’ll take a hard push but it’s doable. Absolutely crap design.
$2 wire cutters render this whole device useless. It could be stolen in 5 seconds flat.
3:16 Immediately starts screwing it into wrong side.
Thats why I made sure to point out the difference in the sides, because I didnt even notice it at first.
