Well, she had her son for 62 years. A death from cancer is always sad, no matter how old the person is. But she was blessed with a grandson from her son's marriage, so I would guess she thought that was good. I'm an ol' Texas boy who remembers Doris Day from the mid 1950s & onward. She was a great singer, great actress, and she had one of the sexiest speaking voices I've ever heard. She was hotter than Laredo in July.
this was way past her prime. she looked so different.... were her eyes always cocked a little bit from one another from birth? i don't remember them being that way in her movies, but perhaps i forgot. i believe she was a singer too but mainly just an actress in B movies.

Beautiful lady. Always loved her films and her singing. RIP. Doris.a legend
Do you remember the days when tuning into a late night talk show was like sitting in on someone else's conversation. Just listening politely and learning from others. Oh, how I miss shows like this.
Doris Day was my favorite actress of the 20th century I loved it when she was in a movie with Rock Hudson love the comedy I use to love to hear her sing she had a great voice We do not have the stars we use to The era I was born in we had legends She will always be the nice innocent girl next door RIP
The current crop of zero talent late night Trump bashing morons are unwatchable.

She was ahead of the time decades ago!
I always loved Doris. She was such a happy actress, a good humanitarian, kind to animals and to top it all, a beautiful unique singing voice. RIP dear Lady. 🥰
I have loved Doris Day since I was a kid. Her Singing, acting, her beliefs and her love for animals just melt my heart, not to mention her horse riding abilities. I love this woman to death!!! So beautiful and a breath of fresh air.
You must have loved her too much because she died
I'm an ol' Texas boy who remembers Doris Day from the mid 1950s & onward. She was a great singer, great actress, and she had one of the sexiest speaking voices I've ever heard. She was hotter than Laredo in July.
this was way past her prime. she looked so different.... were her eyes always cocked a little bit from one another from birth? i don't remember them being that way in her movies, but perhaps i forgot. i believe she was a singer too but mainly just an actress in B movies.

AMEN to that!!!!!!!
Doris Day had one of the best bodies in Hollywood, this proves that - oh and she was an amazing talent, a humanitarian, a colleague - not the star or the diva. She is something else.
What a beautiful, well put together woman. Lovely.
She was such a lovely woman. We don't habe anyone these days for young women to aspire or look up to like this. She was so sweet and an animal lover. She was AWESOME !!!
Two great talents together, Johnny and Doris, we all loved them so much! Doris is such a classy and beautiful lady.
Yes they were both gentle spirits. They had kind hearts and they had loving ways about them that nobody could miss if they were anywhere near the vicinity of either one of them. Just reading all these comments is making me tear up. Miss Doris already!😓😓😓😓💔😒😪😪
Everyone loves Doris Day !!!!!!!!!!
I agree ...and when that woman made that stupid remark and Doris made her comment ....lol
Sure!!! She is just perfect!!! And will always be!!!
I so enjoyed listening to Doris and Johnny. Doris Day will always be one of my favorite movie stars. I so admired her perky and "get up and go" attitude. Also, I so loved that she was a great example of animal rights who truly did her part to make a better world for dogs. Thank you for posting Howard Gee!
She was definitely perky on that show.
A beautiful spokesperson for animals who can't speak for themselves. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they treat animals. RIP Doris Day.
