+Saabkyle04 I made videos of my 2016 Charger SRT. I bought the car on a SNOWY NIGHT and was crazy enough to try and drive it home. I had to drive at between 5 and 10 mph because the car kept trying to accelerate and had no grip whatsoever. It was a terrifying ride home. Watch my videos if you get a chance. I put the HELLCAT in the garage and I bought a Jeep SRT to use as my daily driver.
I bet I've watched this video a hundred times. I love it. We just bought a 2016 SRT and your video has taught me more about our car then anything else I've watched. Thank you very much for your in-depth review. I absolutely love it!!
The exhaust valves are connected to the different modes. In full track mode, there are fully open. Street and normal they are opened/closed dependent on the throttle position. Also on cold start vs warm start.... The valves on a cold start are fully opened until warmed. On warm start they are closed depending on your settings selected. You can hear it on the car when you do your cold start vs warm start in the video. You can actually hear it if you have someone change settings while you stand back behind the car. Switch it back and forth and you can the change in noise.
This video and your in depth video helped me decide(along with a LOT of research) that this was my dream car. I've had one for two weeks now and am *loving* it. Keep up the good work
I'd definitely consider one of these beasts when I'm finished university. A few years back I drove my dad's 2012 superbee charger and the feeling of raw, naturally aspirated torque was immense. Coupled with the comfort and practicality of a full sized sedan, it would make a great daily driver.
You should make a vid explaining the differences between the Charger scat pack and the Charger srt 392. Because there basically the same care but have drastic differences in price.
Is that really how the LC works? I know it's comparing apples to oranges but in my S4 when you activate launch control properly it doesn't load up on the brakes like that. Usually that means you didn't do it right in that car. Just curious!
Thanks for another awesome video! And thank you for opening with a description of the exhaust valve operation as I did not read about it before you mentioned it to me on the Camaro thread.Gearheads can really appreciate your pure sound videos. Keep'em coming.I think the SRT8 has the best sounding V8 engine of all Ford-GM-Chrysler stable.
I love my SP Charger and miss driving it with all the recent snow and general bad weather. Thanks for another great video Kyle. This will hold me over until spring arrives.
We didnt get much snow in Calgary this year so I never had to 'plow thought" it lol. Which is my only concern seeing how low that front chin is! But besides that its really good. Better than most rear drive vehicles I grew up with driving in brutal northern Ontario winters. The traction and stability controls work really well in the winter.. but good good winter tires is key.. its all about the tires. And they aren't cheap for these cars.
Okay..That does it. I am DEFINITELY buying a 392 Challenger. That exhaust...the sound....the Transmission...The Everything!.. its just Perfect, haha Ive made up my mind. Thanks for all the Videos man *Clicks Subscribe*
Yes, Pure Sound is continuing! You seem to get some of the most awesome sounding cars! All Dodge Chargers and Challengers of the newer generation sound awesome! Thanks so much for uploading!
+Saabkyle04 But now I'm not so sure if it'll work in summer because the morning startups in summer don't really count as cold starts. And of course the winter cold starts on supercars are always loud! They sound awesome!
I hope that eventually you get the opportunity to do a Pure Sound video on a Classic American car like an old Charger or Mustang. Great video as always though.
Mr saabkyle, i search in all youtube to find how Launch Control works, but i did not find. i want see the pedal, because i don't understand hold break + full gas , then car its go? or hold break + full gas and keep hold full gas ? please help me or if you find video in youtube set camera in pedal to show how its work, send it me please
Enable launch control, press down fully on the brake, steady increase your pressure on the throttle. When your RPMs get to where you want, quickly release the brake and mash the throttle fully.
question for anyone who might know: I have a 05 300c so it has the 5.7 hemi. I have an opportunity to buy the mufflers off a 2017 392 charger. Obviously these mufflers wouldn't sound the same with the smaller v8 but will they still sound fairly gritty like these? I'm just looking for something with a little more growl.
The first time I saw this video I told my friends i would own one at some point and a month ago I got a 17 Green Go Scat lol Kyle should be sponsored by Dodge
Ok, anyone notice that the first interior Start up shot had the Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" playing. Was that intentional? It was definitely a warm start,
Since you've driven both cars do you think the extra money on an srt 8 is worth it ? Or is the hemi suffice ? I love the look of the srt 8 but I fee like the RT is easier to maintain but then again I want that extra horsepower.
* uses "launch control" *
* tires spin down the whole track *
Murica!
+MrJagfootball63 Hahaha the cold temperatures didn't help with that either :D
+Saabkyle04 those tires aren't that great either
+Saabkyle04

*See's brand new 392 Charger
*Makes sure they're alone then proceeds to fuck tailpipe
The winter temperature and summer only tires don't mix well either.
even we got to admit, that sounded awesome!
+Matthew Chong maybe. maybe not. who knows.
it would sound even better if he pushed the pedal accelerator to 65 hundred rpm
+Bruno Soares rev limiter, can't do that
Anybody ever seen a Hemi rev out past 7K? Never hear a louder sound. Your ears scream for mercy.
Love the amount of body shake when he revs it.
as soon as I saw this comment I looked and the car was rumbling around. Odd things happen to odd people I guess
+CarGuyNolan me too!
Me too !
Learned more from this video about my car than the salesman ever told me haha. Great video as always!
+Dylan Guo Thank you!!
+Saabkyle04 I like what you do and you do it professionally
Congrats dude
7:56, still to this day many say that Kyle is still going and the SRT can be heard from miles away.
The Hemi has an unmistakable sound of its own. Any American Muscle fanatic will know exactly whats roaring up the hill to snatch a soul.
I think what's so cool about the way it sounds and is probably underrated is it's downshifts under normal driving. I love it.
1:01 " Just can't get enough of that"
*Restarts car*

I wouldn't mind getting the groceries in this car ;)

One of the few you tubers that actually know how to record exhaust videos!
Can you do pure sound of prius pls?
HA.
Find somewhere with peace and quiet, don't say anything, and there you have it
He’s channel will get insta deleted by UA-cam
😂
The transmission seems to shift significantly quicker on its own under hard acceleration than when the shift paddles are used.
I'd definitely consider one of these beasts when I'm finished university. A few years back I drove my dad's 2012 superbee charger and the feeling of raw, naturally aspirated torque was immense. Coupled with the comfort and practicality of a full sized sedan, it would make a great daily driver.
bought a 2016 scat this year and it's been my favorite car I've owned power and not bad gas mileage
that 6.4 sounds so good!
One of the very few reviewers to not bungle Launch Control. Not that I'm surprised. I expect nothing less from Kyle.
The more you bury the pedal...the wider the smile. Kyle you're the best.
Could listen to this "baby" sing all day...
Man I love me a good muscle car. This thing checks all year boxes
Love the new look of the Charger. It would be cool if they would make special Charger like a big coupe like in 70s.
You should make a vid explaining the differences between the Charger scat pack and the Charger srt 392. Because there basically the same care but have drastic differences in price.
Challenger and charger are the best sounding cars in the world!
I like the Charger Hellcat, SRT 392 and Scat Pack. Not sure which one to buy if I got one though.
100 bucks you were replaying the sound clips over and over when editing this video :) lol
+CliffHanger Yep hahaha
GOD that 392 Engine Sound is MEAN!!!
I have the challenger 392 auto, and the gearshifts sounds like someone cracking a whip... how this one is so quiet?
Is that really how the LC works? I know it's comparing apples to oranges but in my S4 when you activate launch control properly it doesn't load up on the brakes like that. Usually that means you didn't do it right in that car. Just curious!

One of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen! Great video!
hope to buy one of these by the end of the year
I love my SP Charger and miss driving it with all the recent snow and general bad weather. Thanks for another great video Kyle. This will hold me over until spring arrives.
+gto1228 Great looking car that you have. Enjoy.
+richzilla08 thanks sir I appreciate it.
+gto1228 Drove mina all winter :)
+Shannon Wilson how was it in the snow? What was the most accumulation you drove it through?

Please do the Maybach S600!!!! I want to see how that car is compared to Rolls Royce Phantom Series II and Bentley Mulssane.
Instead of trolls below. I own one. it's an amazing car. What a machine.
+Blair Gray
I look forward to you buying a new car in 6 years
These things are getting really good lol
I love the 2016 SRT Hellcat, 2016 SRT 392 and 2012 SRT8 all the same. My favourite car and my dream car…😻😻😻😻
This charger, the mustang gt350, and the Jaguar F-type are my favorite sounding cars.
Your so close to million subscribers! I love your reviews mate! :D
+Alex H Thank you so much Alex!!
Yes, Pure Sound is continuing! You seem to get some of the most awesome sounding cars! All Dodge Chargers and Challengers of the newer generation sound awesome! Thanks so much for uploading!
+ldw 02 Hopefully we get some more variety and can expand upon it through the year!

+ldw 02 Yes they do! I'm sure it'll still sound awesome :)
You're right, just that sound is addicting!
Any plans to cover the new Honda Civic EX-T? I am looking at buying one and would love to see a "Kyle-style" video of it!
Kyle, would you please do an in-depth review and test drive of the 2016 Lincoln Navigator?
Or the ford expedition. I havnt seen any good in depth vids on either cars
That's because they aren't good vehicles
+Dukiny Gaming exactly
Loving the pure sound series! Keep up the good work :D
i didn't care much for this car and all the hype around it till i got to drive it in person and hear it, all i can say is wow was i wrong!

Very nice car! In spain you dont see much of this ones 😢
I hope that eventually you get the opportunity to do a Pure Sound video on a Classic American car like an old Charger or Mustang. Great video as always though.
You are the best car review

Hell Yeah, look at that bad boy shake when you rev it.Murica!
are you going to do a review of the 2016 scatpack challenger?
Not for nothing you’ve got at minute 3:25 “start me up” the Rolling Stones song in the background while kicking the gas pedal to the metal boo-yaahh!
I love the exhaust note and I swear my 2014 RT with Magnaflow sounds about the same. I cant wait to get a SRT8 and put one on. I bet it sounds insane.
Will you do a sound profile of the Z/28 Camaro if you get a press one this year?
How about a pure sound for a charger hellcat
+Kameron Williams Don't have the opportunity yet, but if it comes up, sure!
+Saabkyle04 ok. You have a awesome channel
+Kameron Williams gotta love that sound, right?
+JC Ayala yep

Best American sound i've heard compared to AMGs
I love this car cant wait to own one 🔥🔝
The first time I saw this video I told my friends i would own one at some point and a month ago I got a 17 Green Go Scat lol Kyle should be sponsored by Dodge
Are you planning on reviewing or making a pure sound on the new Shelby gt350r
Saabkyle04 can you please do a review on Porsche 918 spyder..
awesome pure sound of the dodge srt. The next review you should do is the audi q7 and the chevy malibu.
Please Kyle do Porsche Macan S with PSE in Pure Sound
Ok, anyone notice that the first interior Start up shot had the Rolling Stones "Start Me Up" playing. Was that intentional? It was definitely a warm start,
Not on my list but that car sure sounds good!
A Dodge Charger srt hellcat is my dream car and my dad just bought one
COOL Pure Sound: 2016 Dodge Charger SRT 392 - Cold Start, Revs, Acceleration, Launch Control Demo
Do a pure sound on a classic Musclecar like a 68 Charger RT, Chevelle SS, Olds 442 or Pontiac GTO
That is a fine automobile
I hope to get one of these for my first car, hopefully price goes down by the time.
+Saabkyle04 which vehicle would you select the 2015 Challenger SRT 392 or the 2015 Charger SRT 392?
Do a review of the new 2016 BMW 730-750d
plz do a review on the 2015/16 toyota harrier
Could your next Pure Sound Episode be on the Lamborghini Aventador? That would be great! Thanks you!
+TheGrizzlyVideos It's hard for Kyle to get Aventador.
+Reuben Lee But the Aventador is Kyle's eye-catching car for everyone. According to his profile pic, trailer, etc.
Dude you should own a car dealership for real. Great video!
Not true, track mode has louder exhaust note than street
Damn I love that sound
Pure Sound I love it!! I love exhaust notes.
A rev restrictor on a 392 Charger? Now that's ridiculous!
Since you've driven both cars do you think the extra money on an srt 8 is worth it ? Or is the hemi suffice ? I love the look of the srt 8 but I fee like the RT is easier to maintain but then again I want that extra horsepower.
SRT
Wow I will own one of these how's the head and leg think it comfortable for a big and tall man 6 foot 7 270?
Could you do a walk around and a review on the 2017 NSX when it comes out.
Saab you need to get your hands on a Devel Sixteen. Pleeeeease?!
My charger has the same exhaust except without the valves and it's insane.
Did you time the launch in launch mode? If so, what was it's 0-60mph time?
Is it a big difference compared to the 5.7 V8?
Yes
2003-04 Mercury Marauder
Exactly
Love it. Every single day.
Were you in track mode for those passes?
Kyle is there a way to start the car in public?
Each time better... Great review
everytime I see this car I want one more and more.
Wowwww 4 yr anniversary 💪🏽💪🏽

R.I.P Charger SRT 392! 2015-2018
