+KrypticKidd if I was offered a chevelle or a lambo i'd take the lambo without hesitation but that's just because I would sell it and buy a chevelle and still have a lot of money left :)

My first car was a 70'Chevelle. Bought it from my grandfather when I was fifteen years old I still love and miss that car! I'm now fifty and would love to have another one.
In 1998 I bought a 1970 GTO. My friend bought a 1969 Chevelle ss 396. It was a fun summer. We both ended up selling the cars. I took a big loss. Oh well I learned my lesson. Hope one day to own another one
It's nice to see a retired guy get a finished classic car. Many years of work to retire. Good job you two. I hope to be just like you and the wife someday. :-)
+Brian Lawton how much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking? I was looking into getting a 69 in great condition just trying to get an idea of how much OT I'm going to have to work and for how long in order to do so
The 69 is a great looking car, the 70 seems' to be the one that is most wanted and holds' its' value better,The cost can be high depending on the engine and transmission, look for a deal that you can manage.
Hi Bob. I live in a City with many Traffic Lights'. an Automatic is better and much easier on your left leg in Heavy Stop and Go City Traffic, Why a 4 Speed?, everybody craves' a Stick Shift that costs' thousands' more for the same car Maybe they are more fun to drive but to me are not worth all the Extra money you have to Dig Down for and shell out to play race Car driver, Being a Heavy Truck Driver for over 40 years' I've Shifted Gears' enough. Yes I sold it. I remember one time at a concert. My leg was shaking so hard I had to sit a wait for the traffic. Nothing wrong with a tight auto. Still a beauty.
Yes I guess it was like that and it came in a Big Unwrapped box but I new what was inside so no surprise for me.Thanks' for watching and your comments', I did not mean to show it arriving twice, I messed up when editing,
It was cold and the car had been in transit for days', Thanks' for watching,I am surprised I'm still getting comment's sent two and a half year's later,Cheers' and have a good day.
I bought a '70 396 in a little rough condition but still running good for $2200 back in '89, paid to get a fender and back bumper replaced, also to get a couple of rusty spots fixed and drove it with a coat of black primer for almost 2 years, got the transmission and motor rebuilt, had the black interior fixed nicely, repaired front end... but not even 3 weeks after paying for a blue paintjob (with the racing stripes) it got stolen, I felt like killing something...
That is one sweet ride my friend...............Congrats on scoring it and I already know your going to have a blast with it. Thanks for posting what must have been a very exciting day for you. ENJOY THE RIDE!
Hi Mark,Car's is running great, It now has MSD Ignition, a New Gas Tank, Fuel Filter, Fuel Lines', E- 3 Plugs', New Plug Wires', ( No more Stalling ) New Brakes', The car was sitting a while and needed to be checked and tuned up, It drives' real good, handles' well , and stops on a Dime, It gets' a lot of attention at car shows', people like to have pictures' taken standing next to it,Cheers' and thanks' for watching ,
Have mercy: he's just the delivery guy. Not everybody has driven something with a monster cam. Delivery guys in my neighborhood typically go to the wrong house, so... this one went well.
Brian you such a lucky man to own that. Looks awesome. Just thinking if I had that sweet ride across here in the UK, man I'd untouchable. Keep it well. Tryna save up and buy one of those old school classics.
Did you ever think about giving the driver a tip? I had my '66 Chevelle SS 396 transported in an enclosed trailer from Roanoke, VA. to South Central Michigan for 800.00. Tipped the dude 100.00 and bought him dinner for delivering my high end car in impeccable condition...a small price to pay for a job well done.
@@tomjones3488 53,000.00. But the car had a frame off restoration, and the motor was totally gone thru. You should be able to get a great looking '66-'67 SS (my two favorite years) for the low to mid 40's. Try to avoid dealers if possible, but that can be a challenge when looking to buy a classic auto. Good luck in finding one!
Lambo……? “ Forget about it”. Nothing like a good ol fashioned USA muscle car . This Chevelle is the cream of the crop! Congrats Bro! Enjoy for a long long time
Well that's how a dream car entry looks like! Just excite yourself and make your day with imagination like "" you are drinking coffee in morning and trailer approached and truck guys says "sir, plz receive your honey"..you are now in suspense mode that what he is talking about and what he has brought!! Well you approached the back of the trailer and the car is unloading is your dream one..that moment you spilled your coffee all over your dress and your iPhone!!""" Well grats Brian, not everyone gets lucky that way!
What a dream....to have your ride delivered to you like that, also i think i caught a glimpse of a Marauder is some ones driveway when the guy is putting down the cones....anyway...that is a perfect Chevelle..color scheme and wheels,i would not change a thing!

I will keep an eye for this vehicle. If I see you I will say hello, what a beautiful machine u have there.
I'll be honest a big chunk of me is jealous, but the good book says '' you shall not covet thy neighbors goods ''. I reckon I will never live my dream of owning my dream car. so I'll just be happy for ya instead. I know you are treating her well.

Def a 1970 ss chevelle is one of the best muscle cars ever. and I'm not really a Chevy fan. I think the 4 lights in front are awesome, but think a 71 or 2 back bumper with the round light would look even better with the quad headlights

Gary O I would love one, even an automatic. But if I bought one, had it delivered and had the choice of an automatic or stick. I have to have the stick
I have a 1971 with the same color scheme as yours. I always liked the 1970 the best, but at the time that I bought mine, the 70's were just insanely high. The 1971's and 1972's were not that popular and were much less expensive. Now they are coming into their own and getting more popular. I always loved four speeds, but now that I'm older and there are stop lights all over the place, and so much more traffic, automatics are much easier on the old knees now.
