Never underestimate a turbo diesel Touareg. Ever. These motors are TANKS ! Do your research. They’re more than capable of doing this over extended periods of time.
@@rattatoolie7253 I'm sure the engine can...but it's the rest of the vehicle that can be stressed with a load like that...brakes, suspension and the unibody can be twisted in certain situations. Still dig mine.
@@omnipresentvideo7686 obviously not his normal towing truck. These TDI touaregs are geared for hauling. The suv does a good job of using the engine to help it brake putting less work on the brake assembly. Not a bad ride for a once- in-while overloaded tow this.
To my knowledge the brakes are 6 piston Brembo up front and 4 piston brembo out back. You might run through pads quicker but it’ll stop no problem. 20k total package weight would not be something I would do very often though 😂.

Not true. It comes standard all around disc brakes brembos. I have the v6 sport and they're stock. Stops on a dime for a 5500 lbs suv
