  • Reggio Calabria is a city on the southern tip of Italy, and it's a great place to visit for its history, culture, and food. In this video, I'll show you around the city and highlight some of the best things to see and do.
We'll start with a visit to the Lungomare Falcomatà, a beautiful waterfront promenade with stunning views of the sea. Then, we'll head to the city center to see the Piazza del Duomo, a grand square with a cathedral and a bell tower.
After that, we'll visit the National Museum of Magna Graecia, which houses a collection of artifacts from the ancient Greek city of Reggio. We'll also take a walk through the Cimitero Monumentale, a beautiful cemetery with elaborate tombs and mausoleums, and also the ghost village Pentidattilo.
Of course, no trip to Reggio Calabria would be complete without trying the local food. We'll stop for lunch at a traditional Calabrian restaurant and sample some of the region's best dishes, such as 'nduja, a spicy sausage, and 'cepa alla scagliola, a dish of onions cooked in a clay pot.
We'll end the video with a visit to one of Reggio Calabria's many viewpoints, where we can enjoy the sunset over the city and the sea.
I hope you enjoy this video and that it inspires you to visit Reggio Calabria soon!
Here are some additional details that you can include in the video:
The history of Reggio Calabria, from its founding by the Greeks to its role in the Risorgimento.
The culture of Reggio Calabria, including its art, music, and festivals.
The food of Reggio Calabria, including its traditional dishes and its unique ingredients.
The best places to visit in Reggio Calabria, including its historical sites, its museums, and its beaches.
The best places to eat in Reggio Calabria, including its traditional restaurants and its rooftop bars.
    I hope this helps!
Reggio Calabria is a city near Sicily, just a 20 minute boat ride away. It has a famous seaside promenade called the lungomare.
The video shows the beaches, seaside clubs and restaurants, and ice cream shops along the lungomare in late May when it is already hot.
Other sights mentioned include modern art statues along the Via Marina, the Corso shopping street, and beaches visitors can access.
A nearby abandoned village called Pentedattilo is shown, shaped like a hand.
The video visits the Museo of Reggio Calabria to see the famous Bronzi di Riace Greek statues.
The Castello Aragonese castle overlooking the city is also mentioned.

      Ciao :)

      @MarcoFaski  10 місяців тому +2

It is very important to provide all the views. There were a lot of problems with the administration, which caused garbage issues. Now the issue is addressed but I can imagine it is not easy to accept for a foreigner (I fully understand your point). I am so sorry if people have been not kind to you but perhaps this is linked to most of the people not able to speak English. If you will ever come back, I hope you can experience a totally different situation to the one you described (perhaps if I happen to be there, I can be your guide) 😎
