They actually hold in pretty well just by cutting the foam to a snug fit. I did put some tape in behind both display heads, but that wasn’t really needed. The speaker comes with a mounting bracket, so I put that on to square off the shape of the rear of the speaker, and that fits snugly into the foam as well and holds without any other help. I could have screwed the bracket into the lid, but didn’t want to accidentally go through the top to the other side. It has only ever slipped out when opening the case once, so it is pretty secure by itself.
Yes, the Bioenno is a special chemistry battery, but it comes wired with a charging cable attached that you can use with a plug-in adapter. The good thing about Bioenno batteries is you can’t overcharge them or charge them too often, topping them off is fine and you don’t need to fully discharge them. Also, you can charge the battery by using the red/black wires that are used to run the load, they are wired bi-directionally, so you can charge the battery directly from the power supply, which is how I handle it.
@@chris4gl so you have a power supply plugged into the power pole leads on the battery to charge it instead of the barrel connector? If so what power setting are you using, is the same 13.8 that comes out for a radio? What’s enough, what’s to much?
how are the face displays mounted so they dont fall out when the top is opened? the Speaker as well.

And, doesn't a Bioenno battery need a special charger? Its a different chemistry than Lithium Ion.
