This is the best explanation I have ever seen, usually people start really fast, click here, click there and then use the lingo that someone new don't understand. Your video was so clear and the way you explained things makes it easy to learn. I have this program for years and have not been able to use it because I didn't have the basic knowledge of what tools do. Thank you again
I really liked how you told us when you were using the shift, control, and right or left clicks. That was really helpful in learning how it’s done. Thank you!
I like how you bring it in close so we can see and understand what you are doing, after i watch enough i might have the nerves to try digitizing! Thank you so much!
I've been looking for a tutorial on how to digitize a design since 2017 and I to tell you the truth I really gave up because all the other videos that I have seen were not helpful at all and I lost interest on wanting to learn but after seeing your video I now feel I can be able to digitize my designs thank you for doing this tutorial it's very helpful, and clear for a beginner like me.
I have to agree 💯% with everyone on here. I’m new to digitizing and embroidery and you are the very first to explain step by step without making me feel confused or dumb. Much mahalo and I look forward to watching more of your videos.🌸🙂
Thank you for going step by step and giving enough time for the viewer to see which buttons you are clicking! I learned a lot from this and now I'm going to go play with the tools you showed! You gave me a little more confidence!
Oh you are amazing thank you ..I have looking for a real teacher for digitising for years….I am a happy subscriber..:) I have the program and Coral D. Never used as I couldn’t find a proper video to tach like you did in this video…Thanks again. Please do more from beginner to more advance ..I will watch them all….
Thank you for teaching Stitch Artist! The way you present reduces my anxiety and I was able to comprehend the information. I really appreciate you demonstrating with Level 1!
I was amazed at the information that I learned from watching this video. I was hoping there would be someone who would introduce the icons. In this video many of the icons were incorporated in learning to digitize this batman. Looking for more from this creator.
Hi.. great video, when you draw the outline of the shape like that and follow the picture outline exactly, what's gona happen with the push/pull compensation ? because if you make a circle with a fill stitch, it will not come out that way in the embroidery machine.. i assume its the same with this batman logo... how do you deal what that kinda things ? Push/Pull compensation i mean..
thank you for the video. towards the end regarding holes to prevent over stitching, is there a way to use the original wand BUT for the hole purpose, make it inset or smaller so the hole cut out is identical shape but rather be slightly smaller?
Is there a way you can save the 3d design in photo format like jpg or png using this software? What I am trying to do is create embroidered design using this software and then put it on a cap or shirt on my mockup using photoshop. Please let me know
You have done a great job with the videos. I am currently using Wilcom Hatch and looking into Embrilliance and PEP. I would like to know if this is your go to program or do you prefer another digitizing program? I do digitize designs to sell.
PEP is great but I use Floriani, mostly because I learned in pulse and thats what I'm most comfortable with. Embrilliance is good and cheap but I don't like the UI as much and hey, I get to just use whatever I want lol
Brian, do you still offer private classes and are these done on-line? If not, would you be interested in allowing me to pay you to learn how to digitize jpegs or SVG files in Stitchartist level 2? I'm completely new to embroidering and embroidery software.
DG creator is a different kind of program really, with MW you had to spend $$$ up front for a whole program, with Creator you only buy the parts you need. Masterworks seems to no longer be supported, there hasn't been a real update to MW3 since 2012. That said, MW2 is a great digitizing program, I used it for like 10 years. If I had a choice I'd still probably use creator over it though.
Ok, can you elaborate on the "buying what you need ". I am learning (pretty much teaching myself and with a few videos you have provided.) to digitize fonts right now. I would like to learn more complex designs tho...
creator has 3 levels, you can buy the most basic one and see if you like how it works, lets you do lots of cool stuff, then if you want to do more, (more control over satin stitches, more control over how artwork is generated, etc) you can upgrade to levels 2 or three. Could also just buy level 3 outright. It also has plugins that allow you to edit existing designs as well as digitize new ones. (Thats called Embroidery Works, and when you have EW and Creator at the same time it all becomes the same program). Here's a video on how creator works. ua-cam.com/video/Bb5c6oMFNvo/v-deo.html

Hi, do you have a video that will help me understand underlay and also the push pull comp?
Omg you explained it so well 👏🏼
thank you for the video. towards the end regarding holes to prevent over stitching, is there a way to use the original wand BUT for the hole purpose, make it inset or smaller so the hole cut out is identical shape but rather be slightly smaller?
for future reference, a curve is when the two sides of the point goes in opposite directions and a cusp is when they go in the same direction :)
AWESOME!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I want to be able to digitize different images is the level 1 stitch artist ok to get or should I get level 2?
Is there a way you can save the 3d design in photo format like jpg or png using this software? What I am trying to do is create embroidered design using this software and then put it on a cap or shirt on my mockup using photoshop. Please let me know

Hi Brad.
do you prefer DG over masterworks? I have masterworks 2.
