INFO ---------------------------
The amazing Moog Minimoog Model D was released back in 1970. Although this synthesizer lasted until 1980, its amazing sounds are popular even today. Certainly, Dr. Robert Moog could not imagine how popular this instrument could be even 50 years after its release.

Definitely Tangerine Dream at 2:28-3:30!
Wow! Just can't wait for the E-book🔥🔥🔥
It's coming out soon!
@@coptv where can I get one ?
1:02 Popcorn!
🍿 Popcorn! 🍿
That reminds of the VST plugin Helm.....Classic
And it is! It's difficult to find an original model in a good shape today. But I keep looking for my own. :D
Someday i will defenitely build the pc for myself, buy at least the medium quality midi-keyboard and start learning how to work with virtual variants of the analog synths instead of torturing my phone.
Nice video, as always
You don't need more than a cheap laptop and a Korg MicroKEY or something :)
@@computer_toucher i have a SunVox for that
I know stuff can be expensive, but really, a used five year old PC (laptop or not) can handle like beyond 16 tracks of stereo 48Khz audio and quite a few VST soft synths without any trouble at all. I’ve been recording audio since 1994 and the days of needing a semi-pro pro separate sound card for 24/96 (Like a Terratec 2496) and worrying about CPU for tracks and synths is kinda Pentium 400MHz in 2005 ;) Computers are so much faster now it doesn’t matter.
still have no idea why Moog stopped selling these. they could make so many sales and I'm not spending £8000 on a used reissue instrument. hopefully they will rerelease them again.
Yes. It's amazing how it sounds contemporary even 52 years after it was released.
@M Castile too expensive still!
@M Castile Yes! Minimoog is back!
get the Boog instead, sounds the same, same circuitry, and no hype for inflated price, just the same good sound.
They have, it's called the Behringer Model D and Poly D
3:29 Doctor Who intro
Yes!!
Amazing!
Thank you! 👍🏻👍🏻
Bob Moog and Gershon Kingsley would be proud of you!
That's too kind! Thank you!
I might sell all my synths and get a minimoog now
Yeah! Moog is surely the synth King 🎹👑
@@coptvdon’t forget Oberheim!😉
You should look at the Behringer Poly D
I’ve got a Minimoog now, even though its simple in terms of functionality its insanely good sonically and from a playability / experience point of view, very inspiring
0:36 Kill Bill (Movie)
Exactly!
Iconic
Flashlights 🤩
🤩👍🏻
Parliament funkadelic bernie worrell
I’m a little bit early, aren’t I? Anyways, nice video! I love the Minimoog.
Thank you! 👍🏻
I recently bought the Behringer Poly D which is a 1/1 Minimoog emulation. It's fun to make sounds on the hardware.
I think the same. Although the VSTs are great alternatives to making music, a hardware synth is always great experience for the records.
@@coptv Yes. I agree about that. I still like using VST. With the actual hardware, it's hard to get everything linked together in a DAW.
I bought it for my birthday present
It’s more than a Minimoog, because the Mini is a monophonic synth.
Great sounds! Any chance you could add at least some of the patch settings in the description?
Thank you! I'll be recording a video with the sound dashboards soon!
@@coptv dude put the charts or do not tease us
@@liorsilverstein9802 Don't worry. I'm working on it.
@@coptv yeah you are not but whtv have fun...
I have a vintage Minimoog Model D sitting behind me. I would love to know the values for the oscillators/filters used for each of these sounds.
Good to know! I can do that for you! When I learn how to set those patches it was an awesome experience, and I bet that's gonna be awesome for you too. Just send me a request in my email or in my website contact form and I respond to you there. 🙂👍
Can you mention 2.02 and 4.02 patch that sounds great definitely a Steve Miller sound
How can a synth fit house, g funk or ambient so easily?
Kraftwerk member ralf hutter used that synthesizer in 1973
We all know. It was used in "Autobahn", A.K.A Barry Keheller’s favourite song.
@@A-ProductionsYT yh when they perform tanzmusik in 1973 I saw ralf hutter playing 2 keyboards one a electric piano and a moog synthesizer
Yes! And it was used live until 1981.
@@coptv in 90s they seemed to use midimoog called also midimini it was kind of digital minimoog i heard in most of products there were used orginal minimoog parts i wonder if kraftwerk destroyed their minimoog to have some digital instrument
You should sell these sounds for Arturia's MiniV. I'd buy them.
4:10 sounds so so so similar but I cannot remember where it's from. What is it if you don't mind me asking? :-)
It's the "Space Intro" from Fly like an eagle - Steve Miller band (1976)
@@coptv oh that's it! Thank you
2"30>3"30 : Tangerine dream Tangram
Yeah!
Hello friend, whats the song from the intro? Nice channel!
Thank you! That's Tony Hymas - "Puff Along" .
0:53 is that the clash of clans startup
Yeah! You're the first to notice the Easter egg :D ⚔️🔥🏹🛡️
1:43 Ryan Paris - Dolce Vita
do not forget the leeching community , we need those presets being shared A S A P
2:28 Tangerine Dream - Logos
Yes! We'll reconstruct it LIVE soon
How did you play those upward runs at 4.09?
That's a glissando.
The one from 1:40 took me some time. Even though I knew the song, I had some difficulties to find it, until eventually I got it : Dolce Vita by Ryan Paris ! I guess you could also have done it's bassline :)
You got it! Maybe I can show the bass sound in another video. 👍🏻👍🏻
Love it. Pierluigi Giombini is a genius composed all these amazing tunes with a minimoog and OB8. That’s it
Is this a VST or an actual Minimoog synth?
Someday I'll have my own Minimoog haha... But now, it's just a VST. However, the patches Setup on the coming e-book can be set at any replica of the synth (software or hardware).
@@coptv You should get a behringer poly D one day and compare it to the minimoog!
@@A-ProductionsYT Yes! Poly D is a very faithful replica of the Minimoog.
sounds like the arturia version, softube and legend sound closer.
I need to buy myself a Behringer Poly D!
Só do I. That's a great one 🎹🎶
Oh shit. 2:27 Rush used this sound in Subdivisions or LImelight I think.
That's from Tangerine Dream. "Logos"
Ah.@@coptv
This sounds like a soft synth and not the real MiniMoog. I would like evidence please !!
Strange call using the 'Welsh Minimoog' for the picture.
