It is, I recently got a tutorial of how to use turnaround Gernades but didn’t know how to. Many just showed how to b reverse which I already knew. Then I found this and it helped alot
Wavebouncing Ridley's skewer onto my opponent who is offstage and in special fall, drifting to their death is the single most powerful disrespect i've ever done

@@Rustyhound-Cartoons a few things for sure, i think the input for ledgedashing alone is comparable and thats pretty baseline tech

Rustyhound... melees movement is so clunky that you need to know how to at least wave dash and dash dance to have fun playing the game.
Edward Rogan Melee has the best movement of any Smash game.

Great video. One big thing it's missing is that when you say "flick" that you let the joystick go back to neutral BEFORE you hit B. Another thing that gets me is that your left and right joystick movements have to be VERY spot on with a horizontal line. If you and your left and right toward up or down at all you will not perform the moves. Maybe a troubleshooting guide would be great because I still can't perform all of these moves yet.

I would get confused on the directions for a wavebounce
I good way I remember how to wavebounce is"b reverse your turnaround b" instead of "turnaround then input then b reverse your input"

Bro are you using Short hop boomerangs to approach into close range? It's SO GOOD. Watched 3 hours of T the other day and he uses it so much. Safe on shield, nasty combos, and with the help of Wavebounces/B reverses you can really catch people off guard.

If you can spare one of the buttons on top of the controller there is an easier way to do these, by using the cstick to change the direction (this can only be done with the directional input after the b input) Only issue is pressing b and cstick immediately after, if you can bind a special button to L or R and then becomes a nice alternative

As player who uses tap jump, these techs are VERY difficult to pull off, but I just can’t adjust myself to use buttons to jump 😭, thank you for this video! I hope to improve my Young Link even though I use stick jump! 😂
The transition to button jump is tricky, I felt the same way. Just play online for a while with a button set to jump and you should get used to it in a few days. I made the switch and now I never misinput jumps, I think it's way better. Some top players swear by tap jump though lol, so stick with it if you want!

Not sure how many people play mii gunner, but b reverse drop bomb is a great tool for mii gunner. Drop bomb offers great shield pressure and can mix up landings and punish an over zealous chase

@@dumbastuffk7920 Just as they explain in this video, I haven't tried it with falcon, but it works with warlock punch so I'm guessing it must work. So now I use b reverse turnaround warlock punch in neutral.

I suck at b reversing side b's I can only get it like 50% of the time and the other 50 I just change my direction not my momentum

Can't pull the reverse Side B off constantly for any reason. Reverse B is no problem at all.

this would work with isabelle, yes.
This tech is very helpful when you want to gain greater control on your aerial drift, gives you more movement options.

Before I watched this I was afraid b reversing and wave bounces would be so much more complicated with much harder inputs
I just can't do the B reverse side B at 1:50 , in 1/4 ans 1/2 I can do it but in x1 I just can't , I mash my stick the other way the faster i can but i just can't do it. Please help D':

Is this only useful for projectile characters? I don't know if it would benefit Lucina's shield breaker since I'm practicing this with her.

It’s definitely useful for her shield breaker. If anything, you might be more likely to catch your opponent off guard since they might not expect it.

Why is this **** so hard to perform consistently is anyone playing with any special controller input set ups i try and i try i use to be able to perform wave dashing and ffshlc back in melee days and that i thought was complicated then and yet was still able to run it consistently but when i try doing these technique i either get no momentum or i end up always using side special instead of neutral special and im pressing these inputs insanely fast but it has become so flustering and to play against pros you gotta be able to use stuff like this wtf?! This makes me why to rip my hair out of sheer frustration!!! Someone please help because even with this video as reference i cant get anywhere with this (Edit Nvm saw another video showcasing C stick Macro Abusing smh complete night and day difference)
