When I face other Lucas online I've noticed that most of them have mercy when we use PK thunder offstage but others are just evil (it's usually the ones that spam PK Freeze and PK fire)
I frequently use B-reverse PSI magnets and it nearly always catches everybody I play in elite smash offguard. PSI magnet is a move that forms quite alot of my playstyle. Anyways, the video is really well made! I hope you continue to do such amazing and informative videos about Lucas because I believe he is one of the least exploited caracters in the game.

Set your jump buttons to R and X and Y to grab. That has helped me immensely. I used to be able to pullit off from edge, now I'm just popping it. I still need to get used to timing it into combos, but I'm fine setting it up from edge or from a tilt or z-air.

Jump cancel up smash is definitely the flashiest but djcz works wonders against mario and pikachu, and its pretty easy to pull off too. The only hard one is attack canceling the jump cancel up smash into dair loops or something but its kind of unnecessary except for the i-frames lol

I think the only time i used this offensively was when i was trying to edgeguard my amiibo. Instead of the standard "yoink the Thunder" i ended up throwing him behind me. Caught me off guard to say the least
3:33 I did something like that to another lucas except we were under the ledge and when I ran off I reversed the magnet so I absorbed his PK thunder and hit him with the final part of the magnet which stage spiked him

So I came back to this video because I thought I was crazy when I knew for a fact you could cancel end lag on Psi Magnet. I thought I forgot how to do it, and I needed a refresher. Sadly, I think at some point they removed (patched out) this feature, and now canceling endlag for Magnet is no longer possible.
6:50 I’ve been able to pull these off somewhat consistent in training mode, but I can never get in on a real match with Magnet to do this (specifically the combos). Any tips?
So the Magnet only has a hitbox when you end the move right? So the clip with the Ridley you released the Down B for it to do the damage? I’m trying to figure out if you have to time the release or not.
I would love for Magnet buffs, especially the hitbox. Either make the entire Magnet the hitbox or make it faster. Its hard to utilize it without a solid read.

Still possible, never got patched. You must absorb something to cancel it as the video states, which hasn't changed since Ultimate was released
