Where other people make videos you two create art! I was already blown away and then came the “Wee dram of whiskey” scene. The two of you toasting each other on the top of the hill with the sunset behind you. BRILLIANT!
We love your storytelling and the cinematography is outstanding. The sunset on Taransay was absolutely beautiful. Great composition positioning Florence in line with the tunnel at the Shiants 😍
Thanks, the anchor position was great for the filming but we actually moved a bit further away for the night so we would sleep better with more swinging room!
😀😀👍👍👍❤❤❤ We can all see very clearly the great amount of work and talent that goes into your videos. Truly stunning! Thanks for sharing with the world! Bye for now from Seattle, WA. (Northwest USA)
Absolutely sublime! Remarkable how drones have opened up the world's vistas for the 'average joe'. These islands are lovely, in all their shades of life, whether bird life or carved waterways, sandspits or caves... Thanks for taking us along! I have a brand new appreciation of Britains' surroundings!
You guys take the cake for cinematic excellence capturing the natural beauty and splendor of the places you visit. This kinda stuff is why I look forward to sailing. Not sitting around in the tropics swilling cheap beer and partying.
Every facet of your video’s are of the highest quality and are a bench mark for would be utube travellers. I’ve not seen any better on Nat Geo. Bonus, no lecture from David Attenborough. 🇦🇺
You are both a very lucky couple, to be doing what you do and enjoying the beautiful landscape and wildlife! We have lots of Puffins and sea birds in our area also! The picture of you on the hill having a drink in the sunset is worth framing! It will bring back memories in the future ❤! Stay safe from the east coast of Canada 🇨🇦.
I was watching whilst eating my bacon sandwich for breakfast. Lo and behold you joined me with your own bacon roll. With St Kilda don't forget that Rockall is further west stilll but a little unhospitable and a long way. Keep the videos coming.
The level of your videography the narration and your storytelling skills is equal to if not better than a BBC nature documentary, absolutely incredible
Much better than any current or recent BBC nature documentary, because Matt and Amy won't try and preach to us about how plastic pollution is killing the oceans and it's all our fault. When all we want to do is sit down and enjoy a beautiful video like this. Yes, I accept plastic pollution is a thing, and it's bad, but I don't want the issue rammed down my throat every single time I try to watch a nature video/documentary.
Love these, way better than the majority of sailing UA-cam! + Great to meet you, albeit briefly, such a nice coincidence for me as I’ve just recently discovered your great channel. Happy sailing 👍 Phil ( Seaquelle)
You have surpassed yourselves with the videography. The images of the two of you on the hill top with the sunset in the background a true work of art. Thank you for brightening my day.
The Scottish Islands are so sparsely populated because its so bloomin cold and windy. I went to Harris a few years back at the same time of year as you - school summer holidays - and we had to wear hats and coats every day. This year we went to Portugal, and it was 35C every day and we didn't see a single cloud for a fortnight. After watching your vid I suggested to my missus that we return to Lewis and Harris next summer and she told me to p@$$ off and just keep watching your videos... dream on
Wonderful vid! Thank you. I think your year stuck in Indonesia is where your vids improved so much. These Sailing the British Isles vids are spectacular. I've now seen places I'll never get to through the eyes of true sailors and master videographers.
I read the comments and for each one I hit the thumbs up. We really are amazed at you two. what an enviable wonderful relationship you have. treasure it as we do !
Fantastic video, you are a perfect saliors pair, and give us stunning fotos and videos.from remote places we /I never will come too, THANK YOU So much.
Absolutely stunning video as always. The scenery is amazing, glad you decided to take this route. I do have question/request; could you maybe make an episode about your new electric and electronic system in board. I’d like to know how everything works, how you manage your energy, how you set up instruments, how the autopilot works etc etc. I wouldn’t mind if you go into the gritty details, I think many viewers would apprecite it. Fair winds!
as an Englishman, I feel we all grew up reading, and knowing of the Puffins being British. But most of us haven't ever seen them. And it looks like, you found them all. 😂
Always look forward to my favorite yachting couple, Matt and Amy your videos are so professional you's have been an absolute pleasure to watch from day one. OMG what a backdrop while you had your dram (New Zealand)
Really enjoying your travels for this season and checking out previous years too. Your approach being so relaxed and humorous and not relying on the motor to go places is so fascinating. The music is ace. These destinations look amazing, gives lots of inspiration for us to go check them out too one day.
Travelling around the world with you two is an absolute privilege!! Your videos are truly beautiful!! Thank-you for sharing your wonderful adventures!! Seeing those puffins takes me back to my childhood, reading Enid Blytons books where she describes puffins!
Fabulous photography, wonderful places, broadcast quality editing, altogether breathtaking. And you obviously love doing it! Thank you. This was such a pleasure to watch.
You brought back wonderful memories for me visiting these wonderful places which I sailed doing skipper charter for many years. Done St Kilda several times one of which I had a gannet poo on my head as we were sailing around the stacks at St Kikda🤣
OMG! After finishing your boat refit then heading out on this new adventure the change in the filming, editing and commentary not forgetting the awesome intro video is in my opinion at David Attenborough - Planet doco level stuff. Truly wonderful, colourful, interesting and outstanding content. Credit to both of you for achieving such a high level of professionalism every single episode. 🤗
This is an incredible episode, I have been excitedly waiting for this episode too see how you would display the absolute incredible beauty of the area. It was great to see you in the shiants and now we also have a perfect memory of our time there Thankyou. I also thought it was raining too until we realised the rain was white.
I'm definitely nominating you for the best cinematography. Some of these photos remind me of the Whitsundays. Percy puffin posing for you as you're bombed by poop. 😅 Thanks for sharing. 🌈
You two are geniuses, producing such high quality videos, editing, music overlay. The whole thing is amazing.
Your photography/cinematography just gets exponentially better all the time!🇨🇦
Was just about to type the same comment 👍
I agree...top notch
You are two of the most seasoned, brave, and fascinating adventurers on the web!
Just breathtaking. One of the most stunning videos I have seen. I am lost for words.
Wow im Scottish and ive never seen any of these places. Stunning footage 👌 did Scotland proud 👏
That picture of you two toasting Scotland with a whiskey at the top of a hill and the sun setting between you! Incredible!

I am loving your trip around the island! My wife said, "this is better than national geographic!"
Keep up the great work!
You really deserve 1m + subscribers
Once again, the gold standard for yachting videos!
We've never ever seen puffins photographed in such high definition and so close up too.
😊 🫡🇬🇧🙏👋🤲
Relaxing with a cup of tea while you paddle me around the Outer Hebrides to peaceful music. Excellent.
Exquisite photography and great sailing! Just exceptional all round! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Fab - who doesn’t love puffins- no one! Loved it you lucky things👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love the puffins. I am amazed that they gathered around to look at you!
😀😀👍👍👍❤❤❤ We can all see very clearly the great amount of work and talent that goes into your videos. Truly stunning! Thanks for sharing with the world! Bye for now from Seattle, WA. (Northwest USA)
Hi Tom
Beautiful video, one of your best I think
Really nice videography in this episode. I truly enjoyed the Puffins and thought the fade away sunset as you toasted each other was beautiful!
Planet Earth is So beautiful❤
This and the last episode, simply stunning,😊 which is why I want to return to this area in my boat. Andy UK
Once Again, Broadcast Quality Production. Well Done.!

Beautiful photography of the puffins (7:08) and jellyfish.
Amazing video! Some nice footage, imagine what the British Isles were before the industrial revolution! Probably something like Your footage!

Some of these beaches look as good as anything you might see in , say , the Bahamas
Yes, but the water is a tad cooler ;-)

If I can reach back far enough, I'll give myself a good pat on the back for immediately agreeing this shake down cruise would be fantastic!!
Incredible episode from an utterly amazing part of the world! Loving your Round Britain odyssey.
Some stunning photography loved it asked the kids where they thought you were never got close.
Man that sunset is amazing!
I was watching whilst eating my bacon sandwich for breakfast. Lo and behold you joined me with your own bacon roll. With St Kilda don't forget that Rockall is further west stilll but a little unhospitable and a long way. Keep the videos coming.
This doesn't come any better..Top class videos, beautiful shots and outstanding narration...

Once again, stunning photography. Thanks.
The foods you cook on Florence are so delicious looking, especially those baguettes! Will there be a SYF cookbook in the future?
Wonderful vid! Thank you.

Wonderful. Spent my many summers in my youth sailing round the West of Scotland now over 40 years ago. A great reminder as to how beautiful it is!
You two are just the best sailors, best videos ,and such nice people. Greetings from a couple of old Aussie sailors.
Brilliant cinematography as always, particularly the seamless drone footage and as always peerless music overlays.. thanks 🙏
So good, I look forward to every new release.
With the amount of bird droppings... "Shart Islands" might be more appropriate 🤣 But what a gorgeous place!
The likeness to the Whitsundays here in oz is amazing!! I was thinking if even before you mentioned it Amy!
Fantastic video, you are a perfect saliors pair, and give us stunning fotos and videos.from remote places we /I never will come too, THANK YOU So much.
Your work sets the barr. The content never fails to both entertain and enrich your audience with international perspective. Thanks for the journey.

Thank you for a beautiful episode.

Funny Amy that you are reminded of the Whitsundays, Reminds me of Tasmania here in Australia
as an Englishman, I feel we all grew up reading, and knowing of the Puffins being British.

Your production values are ridiculously good guys. Kudos! Great video!
I so like that you actually pronounce the 't' in often
It really does look like Hill Inlet, minus the beanies and foul weather gear! Another great video, really enjoying the new series.
Fabulous photography, wonderful places, broadcast quality editing, altogether breathtaking. And you obviously love doing it!
Thank you. This was such a pleasure to watch.
The scenery is stunning, it is as beautiful as Hill inlet in the Whitsundays , and a lot less crowded.
I agree with what everyone else is saying, your videos and camera work are on equal par if not better than most documentaries such a joy to watch.
I’m here for the puffins!
You brought back wonderful memories for me visiting these wonderful places which I sailed doing skipper charter for many years. Done St Kilda several times one of which I had a gannet poo on my head as we were sailing around the stacks at St Kikda🤣
