  • In this video we show you how to use the Zippered Clutch Template set. Using these templates you can create an awesome clutch which zips closed and holds lots of cards. There is also a zippered coin pouch on the inside. This clutch is a fun little challenge that teaches new skills while building. All products and materials to make this can be found on our website, www.makersleathersupply.com

    Brilliant, I've have two projects that I haven't completed as I had no clue how to work with the zipper and gussets. You are a true craftsman, and a wonderful designer. Thanks for your post, your website and for being just an all around terrific guy. Jeff

    Outstanding video, step by step with nothing left out. Plus it is impressive how much of a perfectionist you are, after all that's where the quality originates.

    Love your video's. Have you ever thought of making the mold for it to purchase? I bet you would get plenty of sales.

    Do you have any plans to sell those molds on the web site? Some of us aren’t as talented as you are when it comes to making stuff like that. TIA

    Aaron, thank you for a wonderful video & excellent demonstration. Can you make the extra zipper mold as an option to purchase with the pattern kit? Thank you!

    Love the video. Would it be easier to sew those two interior gusset pieces before gluing up the final skin?

      If you dont mind having 2 stich lines then no. But if you want a a single seamless stich you have to glue them all together.

    Hi, I new to leather crafting and really like your videos. Can you explain why you do not use double sided tape to hold pieces together instead of glue?

    • @makersleathersupply1220
      @makersleathersupply1220  3 роки тому

      Double sided tape works great in many places, but you'll get a better finished edge if you use Contact cement in those areas.

    Aaron, could you give the measurements for the zipper install mold. I know you gave in on the video but I'm much better with it written somewhere. Why not put it on the website? Thanx. R M Wells, CW3 USAR (RET)

    Question ..... Why not use your Stitching Irons/Chisels to make the stitching holes around the zipper??? Will it hurt the Stitching pricking irons???? Just want to be sure Im doing it correctly....

    • @makersleathersupply1220
      @makersleathersupply1220  5 років тому +3

      I injured my hand yesterday and swinging the maul aggravates it right now :) feel free to use your irons!

    Been trying to make this but without that form for attaching the zipper it feels incredibly difficult if not impossible to get a clean result. Do you sell them?
