Kirk’s guitar solo is insane. This was written in the early 80’s when Metallica was really ramping it up. It’s a must at every concert at 40 years old, means a lot to a ton of people. It’s 11am here, on my front porch getting ready to watch American football, you’re first on my feed. Bringing goosebumps while drinking my Pepsi. Now that you’re a few songs into this, you’re a Metallica fan for life. Really love what you’re bringing to this channel. From Black P. to AR. I’m fucking set. Let’s Go. I’m 55 and ready to rock. 🤘🏻👊🏻💯

Metallica is one of my favourite bands and this song 'Fade to Black' is an outstanding song, a classic which they always play at their concerts. James Hetfield is the vocalist and guitarist, Kirk Hammett is the other guitarist, Robert Trujillo, bass player and Lars Ulrich, drummer. Kirk Hammett's guitar solo is just a masterpiece, and yes, he uses a wah wah pedal. The original studio version is fantastic too, I think that was the first one I heard of this song! Thanks for your reaction, Anthony! 🎸🎸

I've seen them 3 times in Toronto Canada 🇨🇦 😂 I saw them in the late 80s and early 90s. For Whom the bell tolls live is incredible too. Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️ 🙏

On the album, it doesn't end the same as when they play it live: it actually fades out or... "fades to black".

I know you don't like so heavy, but you should try Master of puppets live in Quebec. Man, this piece is out of this world!! 🤘🏼🎶

James the best at playing in singing. Very hard to do.

These days they stray away to much from the original . For the real feel listen to the original album version.
