Thank you for sorting out your english subtitles.:)) I love my Jupiter X and XM especially now since the editor app is great for sound design, visualizing and changing settings
Do you have both? I have the xm but want a larger keyboard and was considering the Juno x because you can control the volume of the parts and getting the x is costly and reducnant. Any thoughts?
Just spent a couple of days with the Jupiter X. It looked and felt amazing but in the end thought I'd be buying for its looks mainly. The sounds were clean and polished but lacking in something and it didn't inspire me. It's trying really hard to ge a JP8 but misses the mark.
I love my X. So many great features, the keybed feels amazing, not too hard or soft just the right tactile feeling. The aftertouch is a bit hard to activate you really have to push down on the key(s). The jx8p emulation is a bit hit or miss. Other than that it has all the synth sounds you would need, and im glad they added the jd800 soundpack. Now all they need to add is D50!
that JD-800 expansion downloads to the X? it's not something you need to sign up for on the Roland Cloud just to use it, right? have you tried using the X as a controller to play any VST's, and does it work well?
Yes indeed I totally agree. I missed out on the Jupiter 80 so I made sure to get Jupiter X. I'm hearing Roland will be discontinuing Jupiter X and Fantom. Don't know how factual though.
I do hope they put in to the JUPITER-X the oscillator sync & cross/ring mod sounds like the early Jupiters had please and sliders where the knobs are please just like the Jupiter's +Juno's please thank you regards best wishes
I bought the Jupiter-X couple of days ago. It's an amazing instrument!!! Sounds great, looks great, and feels great. What's not to like? My only wish is it had the D-50 and D-70 models at some point. :)
It has the jd800 expansion so probably only time they add a d-50, but for that i connect it to my laptop and use roland cloud for the D-50 in the mean time
@@autumnbrushtail The JD-800 model is available for download from Roland Cloud. The XV-5080 model comes preloaded on the Jupiter-X. XV-series builds upon the JV-series, so I don't think there should be a need for a separate JV model. I mean the JV patches should be available on an XV-5080 model.
@@s.kxx1956 Good point, the D-50 is already available in Zenology. But hey, if it runs in Zenology, shouldn't it run on Jupiter-X as well? Both the Zenology and Jupiter-X/Xm have the same Zencore angines, no?
The D50 sounds ten times better than the D70. Sounds are not as lush even though the D70 is 76 notes and an “update “ of the D50. I have had my D50 since it first came out, and it is my still my go to instrument for composition among the other workstations and keyboards that I have. The sound is unmatched. It is forever classic!
You know, FIRST, there were these hardware keyboard BOXES .... for many many years.... before VST+ PC? I understand what you mean.... but don't underestimate the power of these keyboards ( Arranger or Synthesizer) Still in the most big concerts, they use these BOXES...
While it’s runs Zencore which is a VST, it’s not really a VST in a box. Is a D-50 or JD-800 no software running on a chip? The Jupiter X is just a digital synth. So much bad mouthing a wonderful synth by calling it a VST in a box.
Ok, but we are in 2021 and more in the air of the first digital synths. I don't see the point of remaking his synths in the box when he sells them in vst ... If we have to do VA, let's do something fresh like at Waldorf or Modal for example.
@@Marc_Angel Some people want a Jupiter X, Juno 106, etc sound but not have to use a daw. One day Roland cloud will disappear but the Jupiter X will continue to work.
The 'old' sounds remain the best.

English sub-titles is available!!
"System aging" - probably the most insane function on a synth ever....
always the best demos, plus, he uses all of these synths on the bus

Thank you for this review! I Love my JPX!!!
Thank you. Always inspiring.
Excellent demo!
Thank you for this review! Could you also please review the Roland Fantom 2019?
The way you have fun with these synthesizers on your channel is inspiring. You make me better appreciate the ones I have here.
Thanks for the subtitles!
Brilliant demo
Amazing sounds 🎵💯
That’s a powerhouse synth. Great demo.
They released the JD-800 sound pack so can't see why the D-50 won't show up at some point..........
Does this have English subtitles please?
Majestic sounds !!🤩
Cool synth!
JUPITER-X、鍵盤も弾きやすくとてもいい音、好きな音。

Thats interesting. Even if you apply the aging filter and so on for more "character"? I am always thinking of buying this synth

Jupiterは、やはり音が良いです。
でも、使う人によっては、道具扱いになるのが勿体ないシンセです😢
アナログからの人にとっては、高価なシンセですね。(機能面で)
Supersound! Yeah! Coul'd you tell me please, how it sounds in mix of instruments in live group or live concert?)
What's the JD800 sound called you downloaded?
Nice performance. What cam do you use to film this?

Scrolling through 1000's of presets on a postage stamp is a nightmare. No way to favorite them either.
Please can you let me know, what synthesizer you used for the intro/outro sound? Is it the Yamaha SY99?
Maybe Korg M1
You can create yourself. It's kinda combination of pad sounds...
I thought it was a Roland XV50/50.
It shouldn't really matter, any subtractive synthesizer with square and sawtooth waves, and multimode resonant filter should do it.
