- Roland Jupiter X/XM 80's Cover and Custom patch bank available now!
Here are two links on how to create your backup and how to restore your backup. This is the
process you will use to load these sounds starting with how to create your backup. The Jupiter x and XM use the same process, only the panel buttons are in different locations.
• Roland Jupiter-X - How... how to create a backup
• Roland Jupiter-Xm - Ho... how to restore a backup
This patch bank has 128 patches for your JPX/XM user memory. These patches cover many top 40 rock and pop hits from the '80s. There are also lots of Jupiter 8 type whole patches and arp split patches. Several patches are slight variations of their counter parts. The cost for this bank of 128 patches is $24.99 U.S, payable via paypal to synthartist69@yahoo.com. Please include your email address in the note section of your paypal payment. You will receive one file that will replace your current user memory so be sure to save your old patches from banks 8 to 16. There are ways of using the Roland JPX editor to keep only the patches you want and to replace the ones you do not want with your own. I am not familiar with this editor but I do know that it can be achieved.
Some of the cover patches are the main keyboard sounds only for that song, some are split along the keyboard to cover the other parts. Some of the cover song patches are...

Any questions, email me at synthartist69@yahoo.com. Thanks, Jim
I adore these patches! Very much an old 80's guy, and this really rounds out the Jupiter X into a great fit for me. If you want to feel the sounds of the 80's on a Jupiter X, then you want this sound bank!
Wow, amazing. So ridiculous people say this doesn't sound like analog, not 1 of them would do a blind test for money. Great video
It's a great way to get close to analog. I absolutely love this synth. It's not as alive as a jupiter 8 or Juno 60 but it still sounds great.
@@synthartist69 I'll certainly get your patches on pay day! I've just got the Xm. So how close is the Jupiter 8 model to the real deal would you say? I have a Juno-60, but a J8 is obviously never happening lol
@@vaiman7777 Well..it depends. Strings...very close...brass close...bass... not close enough. I have owned 3 jupiter 8's. I still have a Juno 60. Thank u for the compliment!
@@synthartist69 Thanks for the reply, really nice to hear from actual owners. Love the content, thanks for all your work!
Been using Roland synths for 40 years, my first being a Juno-6.
I remember back then when some people moaned as DCO's were introduced on Roland gear...the same gear that have now become classics.
Been using the JP-X for over a year...Yup! it's a Roland, regardless of its' sound source.
Update- everyone should buy these patches right now. If you don’t have a Jupiter X or XM, change that right away and then buy Jim’s patches. I’m not going to spoil the surprise, but this video just scratches the surface of what’s included. They’re all top notch, and there’s some truly excellent B3s and electric pianos in there too for when your speakers need a break from glorious punchy, fat 80s synth.
Thank you DGS for your great review. One of my favorites is patch bank 13-16....
💯 These really take the JP-X to a new level of versatility and nostalgia for the analog days. Amazing work, really love the sounds - highly recommended!
You like it or you don't like it.And I like it.
Jim, this vid single-handedly convinced me to pick up a Jupiter X this past Wednesday. It’s a phenomenal machine, and I think I like it more than the Jupiter 6 I had years ago. Once I get my head wrapped around all the features, I’m gonna buy your patches and have some fun with those!
Congrats on aquiring the Jupiter X! I have had a few Jupiter 6's over the paat 20yrs. Love them. I have been waiting years for Roland to produce a digital version of their iconic synths and now we have it :). Looking forward to hooking you up with my vintage 80s soundbank, you will love it! Take care...Jim
@@synthartist69 thank you! It’s hard to describe, but the X feels like today’s version of what the JP-8 was in 1981. Amazing tech, and a build quality and layout to match. Nothing seems to have been spared, and I love that. And I wasn’t able to wait, I went ahead and ordered the patches 😆😆
@@DGShackleford Excellent Alexander. I just sent the file to your email. I also sent videos on installation since I know that you are new to the Jupiter X. Enjoy your sounds my friend!
Loving all the EVH ❤ awesome, love comes walking in 🤘
Thanks for putting together this fantastic collection. It sounds great and is a joy to play. Looking forward to the next batch.
Glad you are enjotyng them..thank you!
Another satisfied customer. The jupiter xm has a cumbersome interface that makes sound design more difficult than a knob-per-function synth, so it's nice to have these scenes as starting points. Well done.
Thank you for your purchase!
Really need to download the editor to....edit.
That Jump tone sounds spot on!
Behringer released the JT Mini recently. A glimpse of sound for what the full-sized Jupiter clone will sound like. The Mini sounds legit and makes me look forward to the full-sized real deal.
I like the bass sound I'm hearing on the mini, it sort of reminds me of my old Jupiter 8's. I have had reliability issues with 3 Behringer synths now so I don't know if I will be buying any other Behringer synths.
MERRY JUPITER-XMAS! Nice work, nostalgia overload, I'm a sucker for these
Back at you...thank u.. 80s..such a great era for music :)
I've owned a Jupiter X for about 8 months now. It's taken me this long to realize why its called X, because it's designed to be whatever Jupiter you want it to be, well that is if maybe Roland creates the Jupiter 6 if they can compete with the Mercury 6 VST. Intend to get this. Just gotta figure out how to import with the existing stuff I have saved.
I just wanted to say this is a great bank! Have it and love it - great sound design on this one.
Thank you sooo much. Was waiting for that since the teaser. Liked and bought.
Thank you Simon. Hope you enjoy! Happy Holidays :)
@@synthartist69 Once the presets are there, gonna have myself a nice Thursday browsing patches and noodling.
@@synthartist69 now or arrived, yeah. Thanks. Gonna have a field day with that bundle ^^
Sweet sounds bank brother. Awssome!!! Patch here 21:52
Thank you so much my friend!
Mythical sounds and demos! 🙂
Pack arrivato non vedo l ora di caricarlo , suoni fantastici
Great sounds Jim - I'll be purchasing - and extra bonus points for choosing great songs!
Thank u so much Rar...Merry Christmas to you!
Great.
Now I need a Jupiter X
YeS YOU DO!!! I love mine...
Nice Jim! Thanks for the great demo.
Thank you so much!
This looks and sounds waaayyyyy better than the Jupiter-80 & -50. Keep up ⬆️ da good 👍 hard work 😓..
Thank u! And yes...The JPX is a much better and better sounding synth!!
@@synthartist69 aww 🥰 you’re welcome 😇.
Iconic sounds...
what a talent you are
Sounds great! Unfortunately I don't have either X or Xm yet. 😫
Thank you so much. Hopefully, you will have one someday... a great synth!
@@synthartist69 Yes!!
Very interesting... but for now, I don't know how to add à new bank, still learning but I will buy your bank 😊
Amazing, so glad I got them
What is the song at 31:05? It is not the first time I have heard it! but cannot place it.
Hi..it is actually one of my original songs called "that 80's sound". It's popular on UA-cam. Just search.. Roland Jupiter 8 or Juno 60... That 80s sound. if you would like to hear the entire song.
@@synthartist69 Aha! I thought so, Ive seen your video in the past and rather enjoyed it, thanks for the reminder!
Awesome sounds. I just bought my Jupiter X and I’m trying to recreate these sounds on my own. Can I purchase these scenes from you to save time?
Hi...yes these sounds are available. Please see description to find out how to get them. Thanks.
Even though the sound is not 100% like the older analog synths. Would you say it’s similar to a pro5 rev 4 vs a pro5 rev 3?
I like the sounds I am hearing but I’m wondering if I should drop for a vintage jup 6 or something new like this.
The prophet 5 rev4 will likely go up in value. Personally I would not own another rev3 unless you know how to work on it. A prophet is more alive sounding but limited. A jupiter x is a fantastic digital alternative to analog.
@@synthartist69 if you’re doing layered patches can you output one patch left and another patch right?
Hello Synthartist, where can I get this Pathcbank?
Hello, please read description. Thank you!
Wow 🤩. Dead 💀 ‘80s. Feels more like 👍 1981 than 2021..
How do i get these patches?
Jim, do you use anything other than Paypal? I do not use PP, for reasons we could discuss via email or other means. Im still interested in your patches, if we can work out alternative payment.
Don’t suppose you do anything for the FA range do you Jim, great sounds by the way
Hello..I'm sorry but no soundbank for the FA. I had one a few years ago and started a soundbank but never finished it. Thank you for the compliment. If you ever own a Jupiter X in the future, I will be here. Thanks again!
@@synthartist69 thanks buddy and your very welcome. I am definitely thinking of adding one to my rig to go with the korg nautilus as I play in a couple of 89s bands
Can anyone tell me if this is a good synth to play Rush?
Excellent for Rush
