The loss of Callaghan's daughter wasn't tragic. She was still alive in that dimension, but she was rescued at the end of the movie.
Hey u forgot about toffee from star butterfly
MsMojo you are wrong to portray Ursula as right all along. Ursula cheated on her deal with Ariel. She used Ariels bargaining chip AKA her voice as part of a human disguise called Vanessa. Ursula while disguised as Vanessa tried to take Eric for herself so that Ariel would be unable to fulfill her end of the bargain. By doing this, Ursula violated her contract with Ariel and because of this, Ariel had every right to back out of the deal.
I miss the old school cartoons.
no I think the hero's are the right choice not villins
When you're a kid, you love the heroes.
Whe you become adult, you understand the villains.
I was a weird kid, i understood a lot of villains and felt sorry for them. Parents weren't so pleased about it. :D
I Always love the villains
Fercho Salinas I always loved villains
@@luckyluke6098 You remind me of the child version of hero killer /hunter from one punch man
@@luckyluke6098 You remind me of my son. He's six.Hes obsessed with all of them. Jafar is his favourite. He dresses as Jafar everyday after school and watches "The return of Jafar" religiously. When he sings be prepared,it's almost creepy how he becomes Scar. He becomes so mean. Snarling and growling.
Because I always loved the villains growing up, I don't mind.
However I can see how your parents could be mad about that. If he got older and say he didn't like Voldemort, I'd be mad. Coz I'm a death eater 😂. Do you get?
I'm sorry, Mothet Gothel stole someones baby because she wanted to look young. She then proceeded to hire criminals to kill the man being forced to take Rapunzel to the lights. THEN she killed someone and put Rapunzel in chains to control her. Get her out of the honorable mentions, shes a bad guy
Let’s not forget that she’s obviously emotionally abusive towards Rapunzel as she gaslights her and always puts her down for wanting to go outside. And in the Tangled cartoon, it’s revealed that she actually had a biological daughter and abandons her
Mysterie Hamman right. She didn’t even deserve a mention.
The psychological abuse alone made you feel absolutely no sympathy for her. She kisses Rapunzel’s hair and says I love you. Not Rapunzel, her hair! She’s never shown true affection or love to her.
Although, Gothel did not _want_ to take Raps originally. She was only going to take a piece of hair until she realized that wouldn't work.
Mysterie Hamman agree 100%
She dont even care about rapunzel she just care about her hair to look young
Mother Gothel doesn’t belong in the honorable mentions... she’s a gaslighter and she’s evil and cruel. So no
Mental abuse to the max 😕
@@bubblingbubztheklown5902 exactly thank you very much
True. It's Mojo.. what's new
I agree. She's peak Narc.
Rapunzel got stockholm syndrome for all the emotional abused and lonely
I liked Ursula in the original Han C. Anderson story. Though she’s not named, only referred to as a witch. She’s not manipulative at all in the original. She’s a straight business woman. She sets a price and gives Ariel exactly what she wants. And doesn’t try to sabotage the mermaid at all. She even gives Ariel an out of the deal.
Yes but then we won't have the cool songs
@@emileemosbacher6719 😂
@@emileemosbacher6719 true true 😂
There is difference in being a descent businessman/woman and a dirty one! And of course, people can justify anything to suit their own narratives! She stole her/Ariel's voice and broke the boat prevent them from kissing so the spell would not be broken so she would have her voice back! If the. witch was a fair dealer she would not interfere in anything later on! No, she was not a dealer or a business woman, she was just a pure villain from the very first moment, full of anger and revenge!
@Ella Lshi My thoughts exactly. If that contract was pure, it would've broke the moment her eels dumped the boat.
we are all villain in someone's story
_Now I'm the villain in your history, I was too young and blind to see~..._

How dare you guys steal my idea! But that's why I love the fandom, we all think alike
Let me tell you what I wish I'd known, when I was young and dreamed of glory. You have no control who lives, who dies, who tells your story.
It's very true
Hades is the only pagan god that stayed loyal to his wife and stayed out of family drama in the myths.
Z. O. That’s probably his torment, the gods don’t have moral or think god relationships as mortals
Hades = a valid Goth bf (even if he was married to his niece)
Actually he had affairs with at least 2 other supernatural creatures. Including a water nymph who became proud and mocked his wife, saying she was more attractive.
Long story short, she was turned to a tree
Check out Overly Sarcastic Productions video on Theseus and Pirithous. Sums it up nicely
Hades is easily the best god in my opinion... Because of his loyalty and the fact he's more misunderstood
Dude Ursula manipulated the outcome when she saw Ariel was about to get her way. As much as the contract was legal, that was super villain behavior..
.......figures
Its true... Ursula had her minions knock over the boat and that was not part of the deal!
@@marcusbarker4001 but it was never not part of the deal.
I Agree, however in the musical version we also learn Ursula was one of 7 little girls but she was the only non-mermaid child, her father favoured every other kid and neglected her for it. In a way to try and get his attention she killed all her and tritons other siblings (obviously without Poseidon or triton knowing) and left triton because he wasn't of age for the kingdom. Right before Ursula got the kingdom triton was finally of age and got all of the kingdom. So Ursula is bad in how she reacted, however this is a thing that happens in real life too. kids who get neglected sometimes grow up into murderers and stuff, obviously not all neglected children, but if you watch true crime documentary's it is a common theme. So in a way you cannot help but pity her a little bit.
@@marcusbarker4001 Not only that, but she disguised herself and enchanted Ariel's voice to try to ruin her chances of getting Eric to fall for her.
The worst thing for Hades is that, in the original myths, it was Hera, not him who wanted Herakles dead.
A good villain is a challenge to the hero, but a great villain is someone who makes you think from their point of view and maybe even question it a little
No, thats called manipulation
Which is literally what makes a good villain. A good villain IS manipulative.

*Scar has entered the chat*
*Ursula has entered the chat*
@@reynhacoezy5510 Literally I cannot stand when people were like: "But Ursula kept her promise!!! It was Ariel's fault!!!" No, She deliberately stalked Ariel and picked her out at her weakest possible moment and literally emotionally manipulated her into that deal. It wasn't a fair deal. She used intimidation to get her way.
Thanos
Vulture
I know their Marvel but still.
Peter Pan: Kidnaps children. Finds bullying hilarious. Chops of Hooks hand.
Captain Hook: Wants the children to be mature. Wants to stop being teased and bullied.
Is Peter REALLY the hero of this story..?
I never liked Peter Pan.
Nope he was not in the original story peter pan killed any lost boy that would start to get older he would thin down the ranks if the kids got too older.
You don't need to consider the book to know that Peter Pan was not a "hero", but you should also know that he was never meant to be. The Disney movie did not have a hero or villain. Along with the disillusionment from seeing all of her favorite characters in the fantasy world turn on her (the mermaids, Tinkerbell, Tigerlily), it was Peter Pan himself and the way he lived and acted that made Wendy realize that "never growing up" wasn't a good thing and wasn't what she wanted after all. Captain Hook was a dangerous threat, but the lessons came from watching and listening to Peter. On the surface and in stories, Neverland and Peter Pan are fun and fascinating, but once she actually lived it and observed it, the land of perpetual youth was rather scary, petty, uncaring, and cruel. The story was always about Wendy not Peter.
Peter Pan is a harbingers of death. Basically he's a reaper or guardian for the souls of kids that died too early. That's why they never grow up. Wendy went back due to the fact she comes back from her coma and hook is actually a doctor that try to saves those kids life.
Peter Pan is actually called "The little white bird". Try searching it up and read at least the summary of it and you'll be weirded out.
Watching Maleficent’s own movie makes you look at her in such a different light
Well obviously considering it’s literally an alternate version
I’m also pretty sure that in her Disney book it’s either heavily implied or straight up stated that Aurora is actually her daughter but she sacrificed the goodness in her heart so Aurora could live happily or something along those lines
@@critikillshot6851 *WHAT?*
@@critikillshot6851 wha-huh??!
I'm sorry but that's some BS we all know that maleficent movie was made and changed based on the times in 1999 evil witch was in style in maleficents time misunderstood villain was in style
Not gonna let the Mother Gothel fly. She intentionally kept a life saving flower hidden for herself, just so she can stay young forever. Then kidnapped the princess who was born with said flowers power. What was she going to do when Repunzel eventually died? She even abandoned the daughter she did have for Repunzel just to have access to flower's power. So, no she was not in fact right all along. She set Eugene up to make him look like a terrible person when he was trying to keep his former colleagues away from Repunzel.
Although this is one of the reasons, in Tangled the Series it was revealed that Gothel was one of the guardians for the Sunstone, which was rapunzel.
Presumably rapunzel either doesn't die or when she does, the Sunstone will rematerialize or be destroyed
@@user-vm8pr7wb9o Well Gothel ended up being a terrible guardian. Cassandra did a much better job at protecting Repunzel, even if she gave into evil after the Moonstone made it's appearance.
Eugene was a theif and criminal. HE WAS ALREADY A TERRIBLE AND SELFISH PERSON
@@Kagenoaki I mean she raised her and gave her a childhood. Maybe her idea of keeping herself young was to KEEP CONTINUOUSLY PROTECTING THE SUNDROP
Exactly! I don’t see how any of what she did was right wanting to stay young forever isn’t a good reason it’s just selfish
I can perfectly understand Shere Khan. Humans are the reason tigers are now an endangered species.

I understand as well, but some of the animals in the movie are also endangered and don’t hate Mowgli. I think that taking the destructive human argument both works and doesn’t work at the same time
True
Very true.
Yeah and what’s a bit sad is when Bagira (Sorry for the misspelling) said he hates man with a vengeance maybe he lost his mother and possibly siblings to mankind... not to blame a kid who befriends animals of course.
Peter Pan was a savage. He cut Hook's hand off and fed it to the crocodile, he watched and laughed at Wendy get bullied by mermaids, it is logical that Hook hates Pan
Perhaps that was self-defense at least he didn't kill Hook that would totally screwed this up.
As a kid I secretly was rooting for Hook and hoped he catches Pan
Sherri Chrstofferson Smee is comedy relief- you’re angry?
@@karlichristofferson5332 and Hook said that was alright but what he couldn't agreed with is that he threw it away to the crocodile.

They should've added Zhan Tiri...

Rather than "villains being right," the title seems to be more of "top ten understandable villains" instead.
Or top ten Disney villains we felt sorry for.
Yes. Better title.
Yeah, cuz I wouldn't say Edgar was right. But I do understand his motives.
Yeah cause I thought we was looking at quotes
It's for clickbait.
Even as a kid Ariel yelling “I didn’t know, I didn’t mean to” bugged the hell out of me. She knew. She absolutely meant to.
Alison Patten exactly! It was her wrongdoing from the very beginning. She asked Ursula for help and Ursula gave her exactly what she wanted. She read the contract and signed so she knew exactly what she was getting herself into. I’m also with you on that one it still bugs me
I’m so glad you see it too! Yes she was sorry but Ursula hid nothing! She sang a freakin’ song about what happened to her patrons! Ariel didn’t even read the damn contract, like it was the licensing agreement for iTunes or something so even at age six “i didn’t know I didn’t mean to” bugged me!
Teens make poor choices sometimes. We all do. I really hate Ursula more every time Ariel is really saying in kid language I'm sorry as heck I "F" up.
Can you really blame a teenager for getting swindled by a con artist? Grown adults do that, FFS!
MysticBlue 02 Ursula still cheated
I learned at 13 that everyone is not what they seem and no one is so innocent...but learned to just give chances to people.
I learned some of these by my mother, and my dad...he was horrible.
Can we also talk about how with sleeping beauty they didn’t have to send her away until she was 16? Literally just in her birthday she had to be kept away from spindles. Have a group of guards with her 24/7 no exceptions, have at least one enter a room before her so a door couldn’t magically lock
If they allowed female guards.
@@AMStryxwhat do u mean by that I’m confused
@@CreekSong.warriors Can't allow male guards in the bathroom with her or to stay in her bedroom while she sleeps. It said before the sun sets in her 16th birthday, they weren't as literal as they are today. It did mean anytime before the sun sets on her 16th birthday. This is why she was trying to find her for so long and why spinning wheels were burned immediately.

Try watching the movie Maleficent. It really gives a new perspective to the dark fairy
The real moral is; when something bad happens; you can either choose to stand against it or fade into obscurity; and if you stand against it and fail, only then do you become the villian.

Edgar's motivations hinge on him being a total idiot.
The fortune is "left" to the cats in care of Edgar. It's an insurance policy on making sure they're well taken care of and provided for for the rest of their lives. As long as Edgar supports them as outlined in the will, he can live it up as he pleases.
Exactly. Edgar is just greedy. If he continues to be the caretaker of the cats he can live it up, as long as hes doing it with the cats too.
He could literally hire another person to do his job and just hang around with the cats all the time. They clearly liked him.
This is exactly what my father told me when he watched the movie
Right?! I just watched this movie yesterday and was thinking the same thing! Like dude... the fortune was left to you.. what the hell are cats gonna do with it? Just care for them like you already do and enjoy your wealth
Yeah, he could’ve had the life he dreamed of, if he wasn’t so selfish. All he had to do was take care of the cats, and breed them possibly.
Here's another interesting note: originally there was also going to be a Maid character who would scheme with him for also supposedly being left out of the will. If she was included, either she could've been the next person for Edgar to trust, or they would've hit it off together.
Somewhat sympathetic, and "right all along" are vastly different things.
Agreed. I feel like this list's issue is that it was misnamed.
I love it when Maleficent feign shock after not being invited to the party, both in the cartoon and live action.
I mean you also have to consider at the time Sleeping Beauty takes place, something as momentous as a Royal Birth/Christening would have been the "Event of the Century" and King Stefan and The Queen actually broke a big rule, everyone is invited even your enemies.

10:05 Ursula's still messed up tho, because before Ariel could even try to fulfil the task she gave her she tried multiple times to foil her
Ariel was pretty dumb though...sold herself and her family out for a good looking guy, disrespects her caring (and understandably frustrated) father, all she does is complain. Not to mention she signed that contract with Ursula with perfect handwriting but couldn't take a minute to write a note to Eric to communicate... She was a whole other level of dumb...
Yep. Ariel just didn't know Ursula had plotted against her beforehand
@@bradyryan5105 Exactly and people are calling Ariel a “spoiled brat” without actually analyzing Ariel’s character, her personality and the evil schemes that Ursula plotted during the film. Ariel did had flaws but to ACTUALLY hate her? like cmon that’s ridiculous. If anything Ursula should have got the hate because even if Ariel did know from the beginning that Ursula was evil, she didn’t knew that Ursula was actually trying to intentionally sabotage and manipulate her into thinking that she was gonna “help” Ariel when everything she did was to get King Triton’s place as “queen/king” and to rule the world which shows selfish and narcissistic behavior.
@@amygodward4472 And what would the note say? “I’m the one who saved you and I know I can’t speak right now but that’s because I traded my voice for some legs”? She was lucky he found her personality charming and started falling for more than her voice.
Look, I always thought it was kinda selfish for the queen to end up getting the whole magic flower to herself, which is basically what Mother Gothel had been trying to do (especially since the guards could've just taken a few petals or something). But Mother Gothel was alive for centuries and obsessed with staying young forever. She stole a child, manipulated Rapunzel so deeply, never showed any actual affection toward Rapunzel (as her affection was always targeted more at Rapunzel's hair than Rapunzel), made Rapunzel feel silly/stupid for her curiosity, tried to kidnap Rapunzel, and stabbed Eugene (which, in itself is unforgivable). I know the point of this video was not whether their actions were okay or not, but whether their motivations were understandable, and Mother Gothel's motivation was completely selfish.

When the village people came to the palace to tell her about their poverty problem she legit said she didn't care and that they shouldn't have became peasants. Also her termination was justified. For any royal staff, if you get caught sitting in the throne playing royalty getting fired would be the least of her worries, especially back then lol.
Honorable mentions: Mother Gothel was a psycho that kidnapped a baby for her own personal gain and then she lied to her for her entire life about how the world really was. When Rapunzel finally found her courage and went out into the world and ended up finding out the truth she tried to gaslight her every step of the way. That woman is a villain. Point, blank, period.

My theory for thinking that why Pan cut off Hook’s hand is because he was terrorizing an area in Neverland, probably destroying Mermaid Lagoon, attacking Tiger Lily’s tribe, kidnapping the Lost Boys, or draining Neverland of it’s resources. But these are just my thoughts.
Agreed
Even if Captain Hook was justified in taking revenge on Peter Pans "Prank", that's no excuse for trying to harm the Darlings
I'm sorry but how can Gothel be an honerable mention? She kidnapped a child and manipulated her to keep herself pretty. Also scar could technically be on this list as he could just be seen as trying to fix a corrupt society.

Emma Brennan how was mufasa a horrible king?
Well they say you die as a hero or live long enough to become a villain. And I said hero can become a villain. So...yeah
I think because Gothel said about the out world is cruel and dangerous which is true.

Mr. Incredible was worried because Syndrome as a kid was going into deliberate danger by helping him. Syndrome also never realized Mr. Incredible saved him from a bomb attached to his cape.
Actually Yzma raised Kuzco, and her dismissiveness of the poor peasant (as funny as that scene was) clearly showed why Kuzco turned out the way he did.
As an adult- you RELATE to the villain. Especially when treated like crap and are sick of it- or screwed over.
And then there's Shere Khan who is the only Disney villain who is natural since real tigers have actually hunted humans before
Yep maybe if ur a sociopath

You can only relate to a villain in some ways where you can understand where they are coming from.
Syndrom was not just an impressionable young kid that Mr. Incredible mistreated. Bob lists off all the things he had done for Buddy before, like sign everything buddy placed in front of him and taken countless pictures with him, but Buddy stalked Mr. Incredible enough that he was able to find him twice in one night. He demanded to be his sidekick, made an easy job go sideways, letting the villain escape, and nearly getting himself and Mr. Incredible killed in the process. Bob was stern with him because he knew Buddy could not take on a hero's work at that point, or maybe ever. Buddy was an obsessed fanboy that had demands that would have lead to his death if Mr. Incredible had let him. It's not Bob's fault for him going insane just because he didn't let the kid kill himself trying to pretend to be a superhero.
i kind of agree there, i wouldn't be too happy if i had to babysit on the job. syndrome is over dramatic. he is not entitled to be bob's sidekick but he acts like he is. that's the things about obsessed fans even in real life they think they are entitled to have some sort of control over their idols life.
i kinda agree but bob could have handled that better....like not booting the kid out of his car and calling said kid's mother about what her son was doing and explaining all the dangers and what could happen to the kid.
@@misaki4119 True, but at the same time, Bob was probably very annoyed by the stalking and entitled attitude of Buddy trying to force his apprenticeship on Bob. Not to mention the whole opening scene was mostly a distraction for Bob against his nerves of getting married. Buddy had no idea what Bob was dealing with that might have made him act differently then he normally does, so it came off as harsh to him but Bob did what any normal person would do when really stressed and faced with an annoyance. Buddy going insane was on himself for not realizing he wasn't entitled to Mr. Incredible's time.
@@Silentphantomgal1997 except that Mr. Incredible is always uptight and cranky. Buddy was pretty petty himself for holding on to that one moment for so long but everything points to Mr. Incredible being an asshole in both movies.

I relate to Hades on a mental level. My dating advice in a nutshell. "He's a guy!"

I'm actually hoping that Disney will make a cartoon about Scar's backstory. There must be something about his history that why he became self obssesed, selfish and full of hatred to the point kiliing his own brother and his nephew.
The moral of the story is we need to remember that how we treat people can really hurt them. We don’t want others to feel neglected or left out.
Edgar didn't listen to the rest of the conversation, he was promised all the fortune as well as long as he took care of the cats.
If I remember straight tvtropes brought that up as well under what an idiot! I mean he only have to take care of the cats for who-knows-how-long I mean cats don't have long life spans after all. and once they die then well he'd have complete control over everything! Not that he wouldn't have had complete control anyway as they said what the hell are cats going to do with all that fortune or whatnot he just have to make certain they're properly taken care of and keep them well-fed and he was golden! But I guess that was the point as you said he didn't listen to the entire conversation! If he did he wouldn't have done his stupid plan and screwed himself over like what happened at the end of the movie. But hey at least the cats got a husband / father out of the situation:-)
In the original story Pan was kind of a villain.
He was a villain in the more modern one too
Yeah. I get that Peter Pan is an ass a lot of times.
He was also a villain in Once Upon A Time season 3.
Aqua Lake there would have to be changes in order for that to happen - If Captain Hook is to be the good to Peter’s bad rather than a different character against Peter then Hook would have to be captain of another profession. I read of a possible movie idea set in the modern times where Captain Hook is a police captain to his men and he is obsessed with bringing to justice a Peter Pan criminal and his team of roughens. Ultimately though, with a wide audience- there would always be a perspective- it is we who decide who is ‘villain and hero’ - not the storytellers.
@@matthatter56 came here to say that
"The thing where he released the Titans for not paying attention to him was also super petty"
Sounds like normal greek mythology to me.
Just not specifically Hades.
caisis4929 the worst thing Hades did was kidnap Persephone (Bad, but nothing compared to everyone else. And he’s at least faithful), and she still gets 6 months top side.
@@dragonstouch1042 The thing is depending on sources it wasn't even "kidnaping". In the majority of the retellings Hades loved and wanted to be with Persephone and she wanted to be with him because she loved him. But Demeter didn't approve of that. So Hades (sometimes even with help of other Gods) "kidnaped" Persephone and she ate something from the underworld, because that was the only way they could be together.
The Greek gods were notoriously self-centered. Poseidon practically rapes a priestess... well, let's punish the priestess for being too hot, Possy did nuthin' wrong. I'd wager most (classic and modern) religious dieties have an extremely dickish streak to them. Makes for great tales though, I guess.
Ooooh yeah. Greek gods have encyclopedias full of baggage, self-centeredness, pettiness, and every immature lowlife attitude that you can name.
Arachnidae understands.
Big Hero 6 was amazing. The villain had a real reason behind his motivations and was very relatable.
I'm sorry: Gothel? How was she considered?
She just wants to stay young. Yes she did some terrible things in order to achieve that goal but at least she isn't live for causing misery and spreading chaos. Plus she never harms Rapunzel and let's not forget the fact King and Queen stole her flower.
@@erdemkara4143 me too, Mother Gothel was raising Rapunzel as her own child, she knew what Rapunzel's favourite dish was and treated her like her own daughter, honestly Gothel wasn't that bad.
Yeah, I don’t know how rapunzel didn’t become depressed after mother gothel was gone. Like did rapunzel not consider mother gothel as family?
@@erdemkara4143 ok first, the flower was a drop from the sun. Secondly, she did hurt Rapunzul mentally and emotional. There is no excuse for kidnapping and locking a child up in a tower and manipulating her into thinking never to trust anyone.
But she's the one who finds it right? I can see your point but at least she didn't make her servent like Lady Tremaine did to Cinderella and at least PRETENDS to love her, that's my point.
Ursela's story is basically how lawyers get bad rep.
Also killing Aurora was Maleficent's gift to show that she had no ill will. She could barely sleep for 16 years, had her minions turn every stone and check out every cradle, only, after all these years, to put her into a coma. She really did her all for that birthday present and yet, apparently, it was not appreciated.
Re Maleficent: Are you really saying that murdering a child is a proportionate response to not getting invited to a party?!
i feel this list should have named more like villians who had a point more like right all along since they were still wrong about the methods they used to fullfill their goals
I tried reading this sentence but I can't understand it.
Stella What they mean is that the list should’ve consisted of villains that while not sympathetic enough to excuse for certain actions they did to achieve a goal, the audience would’ve understood “oh shit they were right all along, I get where they’re coming from!”
Stella the title should be “Disney villains who had a point” rather than “Disney villains who were right all along” because they used wrong ways even though they had a point
Well they were still "right" for their intentions as the video stated
Yet the way to it (or the result) isn't..
Stella I get what this person is trying to say, although the way they phrased it and the lack of punctuation definitely is confusing.
*With the Aristocats, didn't he kind of inherit the money though?* I'm assuming they'd want him to take care of the cats until they died. So he'd live in the mansion with them, and have to buy them things and himself stuff as well to survive and take care of the cats... Cats can live up to 20 years and three of them were kittens. So, wouldn't he get a free home and money just to be a cat sitter the next 20 years? What if he bred the cats and took care of the next generation too? The cats can't go out and buy themselves stuff.
Brianna exactly. Edgar was just being an idiot and didn’t realize he too could live it up in the mansion, just as long as he did what was outlined in the will. He would also get to enjoy some of that money as well, for food, nice clothes etc. Cause he’s still gotta take care of the bills and whatnot too. He could even hire some help. It makes me sad really, because he really did like, perhaps even love, the cats before he overheard and thus misunderstood the conversation.
I always said the same thing. But even in the end Adelaide says "if Edgar knew about the will, he wouldn't have left." She had just said that she would leave them with no one but Edgar soooo that means its your money too dummy, just wait for her to die! 🤦🏾♀️
Edgar name was on the will tho
Yeah, and honestly, I would love a life like that, just if my mother wasn’t allergic to cats. Edgar was such an idiot.
Ok but why in the world would cats need money? It costs a lot of money to own a cat but the cat themselves have no use for money
Gothel is a villain solely for naming her daughter "cabbage" in german

I can’t really argue with Shere Khan’s logic either
True. But his desire to kill Mowgli, a boy who has nothing to do with poaching or deforestation like the men of his species, is what's unacceptable.
@@Heraldo_Del_Mar but sher khan knew that someday that boy will live in the city and he will start hunting because he knows that jungle better than anyone else. rinzo not everyone should be a super
Don't forget the other mermaids that were turned into those creatures tried to warn her too
Ursula was not in the wrong. She waited tell Ariel was emotionally vulnerable, then told her stuff in a way that would make it so that she wouldn't entirely understand what was going on, before cheating. And when Ariel says, "I didn't know, I didn't mean too", she was saying that she didn't know Ursula would cheat, she didn't mean to put her father in any trouble and she didn't mean or now that anyone would get hurt.
Did you mean to say Ursula was in the wrong?
Ursulas actions might be considered valid IF she hadn’t interfered to turn it in her favor. She cheated. That alone should have voided the contract.
JesScarlet came here to say this!!!
Yes but Sebastian “cheated” as well by singing that romantic song.
i said this same thing while watching!! Ariel signed a contract but Ursula interfered with the outcome in her favor, so no it wasn't all within Ariel's personal agency to control and take responsibility for the situation, and no she didn't agree to cheating
Yeah I don’t get why that wasn’t addressed in the movie...Ursula wasn’t called out on it at all! Couldn’t Flounder or Sebastian speak up during the validity of the contract? Or how about Ariel? She couldn’t speak for herself after the fact? And though it’s not revealed in the movie that Triton and Ursula are brother and sister (was it ever), that’s pretty harsh trading a child up to be one of Ursula’s underlings...I could go on forever talking about this movie...it is my favorite Disney film :-)
The contract didnt have anything which stopped ursula from interfering. No did she promise ariel anything. The terms were simply ariel had to kiss or get eric to fall in love with her (i can't remember) in 3 days. Ofcourse ursula manipulated the deal for her own self gain but ariel was the foolish one who signed it. Even after ursula shows her what will happen if she fail. Ursula broke no rules.

So we're really just going to ignore the fact that Mr. Incredible signed posters, came to fan club meetings, posed for photos, which he then presumably also signed, for this kid, but the one time he said no because not only was he in a rush to get to his wedding, but he didn't want this LITERAL CHILD to be hurt?
Not to mention in the original scene,
"Go home Buddy, I work alone," was said while Mr. Incredible was looking at Bombvoyage, whereas in the flashback, Mr. Incredible was looking directly at him.
I'd beg to differ with your choice, there was nothing Mr. Incredible could have done to prevent Syndrome from snapping and becoming who he was. If he had let Buddy tag along, and he'd gotten hurt because he couldn't save him in time, who do you think would be to blame? Mr. Incredible. Buddy would have been angry, wondering why he didn't protect him. Mr. Incredible was merely pushing Buddy out of the boundaries that the kid was breaking. If the guy had to walk on eggshells to stop him from becoming Syndrome, then he was toxic to begin with, and all it took was one ounce of not getting his way to push him over the edge.
Buddy is like Jason Todd from the Batman series (kind of anyway) I hope you get my meaning
@@milliesaysokboomer Not really: Jason actually cares about helping people. Buddy only wanted the fame and glory that came with superheroics.
I agree with you in any sense Budy was just one step away from snapping. He was too obsessed with Mr Incredible and he was interfering with his work. In my opinion Syndrome was like all those annoying fans who idolized famous people not seeing them as human beings.
Exactly mr incredible got the shitty end of the stick throughout the whole movie, then he got sued for damages for saving the people on the train and for saving that guy from killing himself. Callaghan should have been #1; he legitimately thought he lost his only child. Syndrome was just a whiny little bitch (not to mention it's his own fault he was snubbed by Mr. Incredible; he let a villain get away).
But it wasn't the sole reason, Buddy wanted to become what the whole world idolised and wanted be a superhero(kinda like izuku midoriya at the beginning of my hero) but he had no abilities and wanted to prove that he can be hero to his number one idol and then he was shot down which made him feel like he wasn't good enough and that understandably made him angry and hate superheroes altogether. He then decided to create something that will prove to the world that anyone can be super and in his words "And when everyone's super, no one will be" and if he had done this in a better less villainous way he could of been a nobel prize contender for his incredible inventions but his hate burned too deep.
