I guess it's true! Black don't Crack!
@SATAN Eazy is a legend, but so is Bone
KRAYZIE BONE is a LEGEND!
That "foe the love of $" beat was ahead of it's time
One of my favorite beats.
DJ Yella produced it
It’s the pioneer for trap beats
Ikr
Check out CrimeBoss song called "Put em up"
I've heard these stories a million times, but they never get old.
for realz
this radio station needs a makeover with all their hosts
I thought i was the only one who thinks that. I hate every last one of them especially Ebro. They do not RESPECT ANY OF THEIR GUEST PERIOD!!
Foreals!
Real talk!!
Yea these guys are jokes..thought it was just me thinking something....they sitting with one of the best over in hip hop/rap and are just laughing through it. U dont see Krayzie laughing so WTH.
Krayzie Bone is so talented man its a shame he is underrated , this guy can flip just about any beat and harmonize with the singing stuff , speed it up and go rapid fire , slow it down , i mean he has that cool laid back smooth shit but can get serious at a split second and kill it ..... to me some of his best solo works are by far his FixTapes they have some great tracks
ALL DAY BRO. KB the best
Lyrical genius!
his beats are sack thats his only problem
Shannon, have you heard his song: Hi-D-Ho? That song is EPIC!
@@1lifestyle112 yea i hate when some of the illest have a wack ear 4 beats. Bizzy Bone-"Heavenz Movie" is uh slept on classic though.
Bone Thugs n Harmony are my favorite rap group of all time! The Art of War album still gets continuous play in my phone....the lyrical content and the beats were fucking insane! You know the music is classic when you can hear a song from 20 years ago and it still sounds fresh and brings back memories! #Itsallmothug
birdy1126 "It's All Mo Thug", "Friends", "Family Tree", "Body Rot", I can go on. The Art of War was their magnum opus!
Aww heck ya! That album to me is like The Chronic, Illmatic, It Was Written, Dogg Food, College Dropout, Blueprint....classic
birdy1126 🙏🏾✊🏾
Hatin' Nation....If I Could Teach The World....THUG LUV???
birdy1126 My favorite too!
this dude looks exactly the same as he did back in '95
True
Yeah its all the weed
I think he stays healthy and black people age well
that's why I smoke everyday! To stay healthy and well! Thats what I always tell my mom when shes nagging me why I smoke so much weed XD
Looks the same just without braids

The best rap group ever
I feel sad at the fact that Bone thugs never get ENOUGH recognition. they're responsible for everything we're hearing now. We are in a bone thugs ERA. it all sounds good. but pleeeease recognize.
3 6 Mafia is more responsible for that than Bone Thugs is. And they git their recognition by going into hall of fame. You fans are delusional at best. They fell off decades ago that's why you guys say they underrated.
@@bobanderson2110 bone never fell off 😂check all group albums and solo albums and see if they fell off 😂 lyrical skills krayzie and bizzy would destroy 36 and i listen some of 36 mafia music with that being said both groups are legends in the game no one can tale that from them
Wtf are you talking about they’re responsible for everything?? Cool you’re a bone thugs fan but that’s nonsense. There was many before bone thugs, many at the same time, and many after. And many, rather most of those sound nothing like bone thugs.
The greatest rap group of all time!!
Armando up there for sure man, my # 1 is the Wu Tang Clan. BONE right behind.
Always
Wu-tang has entered the chat.. .
Krayzie the goat for real. Nigga got legendary verses!
Maaaaan their verses on asap fergs "lord" still mind blowing
YoungGemma they did a song with him? what's the name of it
agreed. They went in on that song.
Robert pittman bizzy and Krayzie killed that shit
TizOnly1 yeah that joint is fire. I know ferg was like damn! killed me and the track. Lol
gad dammit I love BONE. Still to this day my favorite hip-hop group of all time. Remember Hearing thuggish ruggish and being hooked. Thank you Cleveland for giving us Bone Thugz and LeBron lol. Much love from a Chicago dude.
DarkChyld80 FACTS!
DarkChyld80 lol Akron gave yall LeBron, but Cleveland stole some of that thunder.. as far as bone, they put our city on the map in the early 90s the industry got hip to them in 93-94 but they were actually doing music before that.
DarkChyld80 respect✌
DarkChyld80 😂
You're welcome, thank y'all for giving the world Motown....The Temptations. David Ruffin is still my favorite singer to this day.
Nothing like bone then and nothing like bone now. Est.1999 still bangs
Krayzie, Wish, Bizzy, Lazie, and Flesh need to go on drink champs for like a 2-3 hour interview!
MrNikeFresh808 Facts!
I wanna see em on no jumper
Facts I wanna hear some eazy-e stories
So Nore can keep cutting them off?
it was supposed to happen with 3 of the members but steve lobel impeded it from happening cause he wants all 5 members there, which may never happen.
i was a fan and now im buying bone thug merch for my son!
I remember when I first heard For the love of money and that's when I fell in love with Bone Thugz 💯
I did too and told my big sister who's paralyzye from the waist down now I love them and I'mma rap just like them and be better! Well I'm not where I dream to be but I can rap because if them dudes I love the whole style and delivery ! Ijs live your comment
I never had a single idea why interviewers don't treat Bone Thugs N' Harmony like if they were in front of J Master J or Eazy or Big Pun, Pac or Biggie .If we see with all due respect in a kinda way they smarter -superior beings who managed to stay alive. I guess is like Biggie used to say " YOU ARE NOBODY TILL' SOMEBODY KILLS YOU" People are lost in this world. They are what Nirvana means to the genre of alternative Rock N' Roll . They are the big formula that the r&b used to progress after they went off the hook critizicing Hip-Hop like crazy for supposedly not being music. Ironic as hell. They put hip hop in a very validated place in the music industry till' the point that the whole music industry use something from them.
Tired to hear how they doubt Bone lyrically. Bone is subliminally deep as fuck with it. Even their albums covers were like the bible. They had infinte shit to get lost in . They being a politically powerful force with their lyrics on real Black Panther shit. The deep spiritual talking they always have in their albums is always second to none. They to humbleand they don't like to brag if they haven't being pushed to do it and that's why people keep sleeping on them too that's why I thank Steve Lobel for stepping up to that microphone and say it like it is.
Angel Cruz-Ortega Everything you said is exactly right man. And I thank Steve Lobel for working hard to engrave both their and his own legacy in history. Good man also I met him, real cool cat.
The truth.
💯💯💯
I felt like Peter Rosenberg was so disrespectful, Ebro should have sent him home. Krayzie Bone is a living legend, and these dudes keep asking them the same freaking questions. Every interviewer ask how did they link up with Eazy, how many times are they going to be asked that question.
The Originators!!!!!
💯
Notorious Thugz is my favorite song of all time still till this day!!
Who's still listening to Bone Thugs in 2018 going into 2019?
Krayzie looks like he's still in '94 goddamn it
17:46 is when they start talking about Notorious Thugs
Cheers yo!! Thanks!
You are the hero we needed. Enjoy the thumbs up!
Still my jam
Big was like “make sure Wish don’t come” 😂🤣🤪
Thanks man. Hearing him talk about it is so chilling. Smashed this song on repeat during my teenhood. Really wanted to know how that notorious thug beat came about. That production is timeless.
This interview was low key disrespectful. Ebro and Rosenberg def did not seem like they understood the depth of Bone's influence and impact on hip hop talking about "did y'all even know what y'all were saying." You listen to Kendrick's DAMN, that joint sounds like it was def inspired by Bone with that rapid 🔥 flow.
KB is soft spoken and mad laid back, but this dude will out rap ANYONE in the game. I agree with Lobel, Krayzie Bone is top 5. If you aren't familiar with this man's shit he's done with the group or as a solo artist, you are missing out. This dude will flow on any beat, switch his style, sing, etc.
joe shmow don't know why is one of his most underrated tracks imo. Story telling was amazing.
Sorry but he ain't out rapping Twista , Tech 9 , Eminem
Bone Thugs are LEGENDS! Aint nobody fuckin with that old Bone shit! If you dont understand them...listen harder cuz your missing out! If Dre and Storch produced an album the shit would be EPIC! If you dont feel Bone your a lost cause!
Thank you...
andy1181985 Without a doubt!!
I love his interviews. This guy is so talented yet humble.
Bone should make a biopic

Flesh is definitely the most polished flow of the 5, and his first solo T.H.U.G.S. was uncanny. He spit hi heart out and the flow was futuristic.
Definitely
How is he more polished than krayzie?
@@Latefate Aye mayne, it is what it is.🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
World so cruel is dope. And that damn " Nuthn But The Bone, You don't wunnuh see me."
Flesh is the hardest to understand imo. Alot of flesh's verses back in the e.1999 days his verses always got me. his voice was mad deep and low and he rapped so fast.
Great Value Corn Flakes facts...
def the underrated one in the group and can hang in their w bizzy and krayzie
Great Value Corn Flakes He is my favourite bone.
Great Value Corn Flakes yep Flesh is the one not to mess with at all. He was the darkest of them all. My fav was layzie that hardcore layzie. Its something to like about all of them. Wish so underrated to, everybody know a wish verse lol
Why is ur name dat lmaoooo 😂😂😂
That "Thug Luv" track will always be a classic with the Jason Vorhees sample in there
Dr Dre and Scott storch produce a entire Bone album. I'm not ready. But the time is now before they to old. Omg.
Idk about storch and his wack ass, but DRE yes indeed
@@ridlasheib6553 You do realize Scott Storch was a producer for The Roots and he co produced the Chronic 01 album right?
Never DRE that would be an insult to Eazy. DRE wore lipstick and was a she thing on his album covers with the wrecking crew
Man, if they'd released Thug Luv as a video that would've been nice. Krayzie is the coolest one, the one who didn't change his style once they got big. Bizzy raised his voice, so did Layzie. My favorite track is Down 71 (The Getaway). It's good to hear the history. I'm born and raised Cleveland. They should've made a video for Notorious Thugs, too.
godofwine77 I read on an old Geocities website in the past that they had plans to make a video for Thug Luv but Pac passed away too soon. If it's true or not no one knows, but that Shit would've made the greatest rap music video of all time we all know this.
Krazyie Bone is the real GOAT
आज्ञा What does Goat stand for or mean?
greatest of all time
Oh right lol thanks.
haha you crazy
they are the only artist or group to record hit tracks with Easy-E, PAC, and Biggie
I just feel they don't get enough credit because bone thugs came out during the tupac/biggie, west vs east beef.
i literally posted a comment saying when ya gonna have bone thugs n harmony a week later krayzie is there awesome..bone the greatest krayzie my all time favorite rapper bone all time favorite group....thanks ebro
That's one of the best interviews I have seen with Krayzie, Thanks.
This interview...blessed my entire soul. Thank you. #beblessed
Krayzie is clearly the fastest out of the group on a consistent level. Bizzy was really fast at one point but then slowed it down more along the way. Flesh can go really fast at times, he may sound the fastest. Layzie is a standard type of fast rhyming and Wish misses his uncle Charles y'all.
I swear it feels like I'm watching them get re-famous.. and it's DOPE AF!!!!
it's Happenin
I remember memorizing every word to crossroads back in the day. time flies smh
Whole album was good. Rare now a days from artists. Thanks for having Krayzie on. Thanks for your show also !!!
Can you imagine if bone put on a show were they did all the songs the fans love? Man! That'd be like a 14 hour show.just goes to show there is no one better than bone thugs and harmony
I been waiting for this interview.
First interview I've watched from Hot97 all year
i tried to get through it, only made it to 2:45 lol, my first hot97 interview all year probably my last lol
50 million sold Get with it. And y'all act like y'all don't know who Bone is and who been eating off there flow
👏
Yessir , Diamond Albums on their resume, who can say that? not to many people. I wish people would put more respect on their name
None of their records ever went diamond. Their best selling record is Eternal which went i think 6x platinum in the US and then sold millions more outside of the US.

Creepin on the come up, Est 99 & Art of War were dope albums

Resurrection had joints too
Arie Kimbrough that was their 2nd best album

all I can say is this this that was one of the best interviews I haven't heard from Hot 97 X
Bone got that resume but they still mad underrated
Mannn...seeing this interview takes me back to my early teen years & how thuggish ruggish bone, would play on the Box...all day long&I had a neighbor that loved Bone who would being playing the whole album at 5-6am while my sister's & I would be getting ready for school...I remember them days like it was yesterday... great interview👍
Thanks for doing this guys!!!!!!!!!!!
dope, i love it, kray is one the greatest rappers of all time
I been a fan of these guys since I was like 12. Own every group album and mostly every solo. As a Bone fan born and raised on the east coast, I can personally attest to the hate that Bone always got from NY radio. I remember when Krayzie and Layzie had the MoThugs movement and the song 'All Good' with Felecia was blowin up. I called HOT97 one day and requested that song. Whoever it was that picked up the phone said to me 'You really wanna hear wack stuff?' (Not exactly what he said but something to that effect). I told him 'Yea. Please play it.' About 15 mins later, they played Notorious Thugs instead. True fuckin story. I was like 14 and I still remember that shit lol. Bone are the greatest hip hop group of all time imo. Krayzie, one of the dopest lyricists of all time. (Reference verse: 'Down 71' from E. 1999 Eternal) Dude can rap his ass off. There's a reason why 23 years later they still matter. All facts. 💯💯
Great reference track brother
Arie Kimbrough You understand. And I forgot to mention the man's flow being immaculate. All of em really but Krayzie 'Jackson' is most def the goat 🐐
💯
Jersey Mac Down 71'🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 one of the greatest tracks in rap of all time. Insane how good that track is, both Bizzy and Krayzie. The Pre-release version is something else too, just crazy...
Jersey Mac He killed on that track for real. I've been a fan of theirs since I was about 14 or 15 back when they first came out and the Box music video channel was popping. The Thuggish Ruggish Bone video was on heavy rotation on the channel. Folks would order it all the time. 😂 I never had to. Bone will forever be my favorite rap group.
Krayzie and Bizzy Bone are my two favorite rappers!
Omg sooooo awesome💯THANK U FOR THIS ... 💯💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥

Bone Thugs N Harmony are the greatest and my favorite rap group in the world
y not ask about thug luv ft 2 Pac? that shit is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's been spoken on
And so has the biggie record your point is
marc07112 that's right!
marc07112 Bizzy Bone recorded that song with Pac and Silk-e-Fyne and it was going to be on Heaven's Movie not The Art of War. Bizzy was working on Heaven's Movie in 1996 at the same time they were recording AOW. The rest of the members of the group have already said they jumped on Thug Luv after they heard 2Pacs verse and Ruthless/Tomica made Bizzy give up that song for AOW.
Great interview. Krazie is the man and hella slept on.
Great interview.... Bone thugs #1 of all time..... Keep it coming.... 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
if dre produce that album, game over! nothing would be the same.
Alex Burr
I'm saying bruh. The world would explode, if BTNH have Dr. Dre & Scott Storch on their new album. INSANE!!! Make it happen Steve Lobell.

Props for this one
I could listen to krayzie bone telling stories all day
The come up story is always so good to hear.. cuz the struggle to come up and hustle .. is paying dues ... it’s a blessing now to just make things happen with little effort.. love bone thugs for life !!
The midwest loves Bone Thugs! They represented the region to the fullest, more so than any other artist out there.
Dude, to be honest that New Waves album went completely under the radar. It was raw, refined, modern, artistic, different for Bone, and just a LOT of elements that made it the most unexpected and best album when it came out. And Stephen Marley on the track? Fiya man!
great interview
I knew about bone thugs. But i didn’t know they have much history they’re so legendary and inspired so many new generations. Respect for being such a great and vital instrument in the hip hop field
Damn, i saw Krayzie in person back in 2005 & he hasn't aged a bit. He actually looks younger now
Krayzie Bone snapped on Notorious Thugs!!!
INDEED
One of the few times Hot 97 hasn't pissed me off. No fuckery in this interview
Yuup i need see BoneThugs asap
Legendary 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If you think East 1999 is dope without even knowing what they're sayin, just wait until you realize and you'll think its twice as dope!
That's a good point, there style is just so sick it didn't matter that you couldn't understand a word they were saying .but once you find out? It makes it even more awe inspiring
O know remember that reading it and what you think what they are saying is completely different of what you thought
No cap
Krazie and bizzy lyrics off the chain
I’m 29 I didn’t listen to East 1999 until I was in 7th grade around 2002 and I was blown away I felt like I understood rap ahead of my peers. Til this day my generation still don’t understand how great that album was
So much love for the culture and 90
IMO Krayzie is "literally" the best rapper ever. I know ya'll gonna think im trippin saying its pac, big, nas, eazy, etc... but hear this out. Kray (even Bizzy) had probably the best delivery out of any rapper, listen to their verses and how it harmonizes with the beat, its unreal. Listen to Murda Mo by Krayzie, Nobody cant stop me by Bizzy, or listen to Player Hater by Flesh, Kray, Layzie. These guys are heavily underrated and slept on because nobody can do what they do. I guess in a way you can compare it to mumble rap but they don't deliver like BTNH does, its just slow slurred rapping while BTNH is quick and flows perfectly. I can't even name a bad btnh song. These dudes need a biopic asap..or atleast be a big part of one.
Bone thugs shows are ALWAYS lit as fuck. I been to two concerts I NYC in the past few years. it was always lit and good vibes. bone will always be one of the if not the greatest rap group ever.
Great Value Corn Flakes seen Bone like 24 times live & never disappointed.
