Jay Brown bro the first time i heard that song i listened to it 16 hours straight in between two jobs, mainly krayzies verse played that one over and over and over, still listen to that verse, over and over
Yeah all mo thug was tight, layzie verse when hes like ( lil kids no longer wanna be like, they tryna be like bone and keep thugging for lyfe ) that shit i definately related 2
The Art of War is probably my favorite album of all times. I think it's massively underrated and rarely even mentioned when it comes to the best albums but it's perfect from start to finish, especially for a double album. Krayzie's flow on there is so advanced that nobody even came close to this day, including Bone themselves.
The interviewer did a superb job asking the questions die hard fans have wondered about. Lobel and Krayzie provide entertaining responses. Enjoyable presentation.
Ready for war from art of war is underrated af! No Surrender from Creepin on ah come up.. The real thug hits, body rot, mo murder, handle the vibe, I can go on and on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Massive salute to the interviewer , as a life long bone fan , I can tell he was a big fan as well, I love it, this was a very thorough and informative interview. More hip hop journalism like this plea$e!!!
Layzie is the guy He brings together bizzy with krayzie/wish Without layzie there won’t be btnh because wish and kray roll together and bizzy layzie and flesh roll in the other side. Krayzie is the leader when it comes to music concepts
That's cuz he is. Hrs the leader. The producer. The one who shops they work the one who keeps em getting paid. Trust Krayzie is the one. Bizzy left and does his own thing. So praise to B after a while of not knowing how to get it.
My TOP 3 BTNH albums 1. The Art Of War - (It's All Mo Thug, Handle The Vibe, Thug Luv, Body Rott, Look Into My Eyes, If I Could Teach The World) 2. E.1999 Eternal - (Down 71' Getaway, East 1999, Crossroad (Original), Mo Murda) 3. BTNH Resurrection - (Battlezone, Resurrection Paper Paper, 2 Glocks. The Righteous Ones) - and let's not forget Creepin On Ah Come Up - (Thuggish Ruggish Bone, Down Foe My Thang, Foe Tha Love Of Money)

Krayzie Bone easily one of the best in the game, EVER. Most underrated for sure. Top 5 Bone Albums: E.99 Art Of War Creepin' On A Come Up Resurrection Thug World Order/Faces Of Death
Great interview! If I were to rank Bone's albums, I would say... #1 - E. 1999 Eternal #2 - Art Of War #3 - Strength & Loyalty #4 - BTNHResurrection #5 - T.H.U.G.S. #6 - Bone 4 Life #7 - Creepin' On Ah Come Up #8 - Thug World Order #9 - Uni5: The World's Enemy #10 - Art Of War: World War III #11 - Faces Of Death #12 - Lost Archives #13 - Thug Stories
art of war is probably the most underrated album of all time.it was a transition sound with balance of raw and smooth.songs like "all original"and "player hater" can't b touched.your talking about a double CD without 1 song to skip.IDK why it's not considered as their best
AOW is much more than diss tracks. True they put imitators in their place but songs like it's all mo thug mind of a soulja and both family trees just to name a few shows the direction they wanted to go with their craft and showed where they were at in life...u r right about whom die they lie though, that beat and chorus show no mercy
1st: E.1999 Eternal 2nd: Resurrection Why? Krayzie/Bizzy outshined the rest, and Flesh showed out to solidify himself as a member 3rd: Art Of War 4th: Thug World Order
The first version for me was more harmonizing, “it’s a regular day when Hatters hate me/ but they could never fade me/ them stuffed in the trunk of my Mercedes Krayzie ready...

Thug World Order Don't really follow much of their later stuff, as they started adding Akon & other mainstream artists I didn't care for. Why wasn't UNI5 mentioned in the ranking? People must forget that album. 1. Eternal 2. Art of War 3. Resurrection 4. TWO 5. Creepin On Ah Come Up 6. UNi5 And I don't even count AOW3.
Uni5 should have been the worse. The deleted tracs sounded better imo. And the group had to halt production to switch record labels to Sony. Messy logistics but getting all 5 members in the same spot for 5 minutes had to be a bigger project than the album itself . its funny how times have changed , and back then you could deposit 80k in the bank no worries. But now ??? No ! Some if not all banks that take over 10k has to report it to the IRS not to mention all the other fees and crap .
yall are fools I believe Thug Stories wouldave been the best bone album of all time if you added bizzy bone to every song and two and resurrection are the 2 worst bone albums bizzy had too many wach slow verses on two and resurrection had I believe like only 5 or 6 full group songs on it
I know Krayzie's medication has his face swollen but damn. Looking at just his face, minus the voice, TL jacket, and Steve Lobel next to him, I wouldn't even recognize him.
joegibbskins I don't know specifically but a couple months back he was in the hospital and when he came out they prescribed him something, which they said getting a swollen or puffy face was one of the side effects. Him and Wish Bone did a stream on Periscope and Wish kinda joked on him about his face looking fat now, it was pretty funny.
As a little boy i always sung every verse on point of ghetto cowboy but the chicks verse was the hardest by far no hate and my voice would hit that shit perfect 😂
1. Art Of War perfect blend of harmony with the beats and lyrics 2. UNI5 TWE showed me something I thought bone could never do 3. Thug Stories to me would be their best if every song included bizzy 4. AOWWW111 the closest new album to the old bone sound would be better minus 3 songs and add 3 cuts from uni5 5. E.1999 eternal great album it only was generated to the streets becides crossroads which no one cared about the album except for that song 6. Strength & Loyalty only here because it shoulda been 2 cds 7. Faces Of Death is here because it wasn't long enough for me 8. Creepin on Ah Comeup only because it was an ep and there were 7 cut songs that were doper than what made it 9. RESURRECTION liked it but it only had 5 to6 full group tracks 10. T.W.O. Too many wach sounding slow bizzy verses that's why its the worst I think
1. Thug World Order 2. Art of War 3. Creepin' On Ah Come Up 4. Eternal 5. New Waves 6. WWIII 7. Resurrection 8. Faces of Death 9. Uni5 10. Bone 4 Life 11. Thug Stories 12. Strength & Loyalty
It's All Mo Thug from The Art of War is probably one of the smoothest and underrated cuts that Bone ever made.

Christopher Shelton indeed!

I would say E.1999 and The Art of War are two of the greatest albums ever in hip hop.
Add Thug Mentality and yes
+Dominick Kasza I agree with you on both but I don't think E.1999 is in the top 3 bone albums but just my opinion
Yep!
true but the art of war is bone's best album
+Dominick Kasza haahahah
E1999, Art of War, Creepin', and even Resurrection are all masterpieces.
Ressurection is a criminally underrated album.
Battlezone. Is the greatest song by them imo.

Thank you HipHopDX for making this happen. I would've never known the backstory to these projects if it wasn't for ya'll. Thank you!
I feel like Krayzie is the unofficial captain of Bone Thugs.
It's Flesh.
Layzie is the guy
He brings together bizzy with krayzie/wish
Without layzie there won’t be btnh because wish and kray roll together and bizzy layzie and flesh roll in the other side.
Krayzie is the leader when it comes to music concepts
Krayzie Bone is the most artistic out of all of them that's for sure

Well to be fair Krayzie was rapping before any of them
It's hard to say but I think E1999 is a masterpiece. But I also like Art of War too as a close 2nd
E. 1999/Eternal is like Michael Jackson's Thriller... Not a bad song and when it dropped, everyone on the block had it.
One of the top 5 albums of all time in all genres to me. Complete album from beginning to end
We need a Bone and Cypress Hill collaboration. Produced by Muggs and U-Neek.
