    Leah Asher - viola
    Mia Theodoratus - harp
    OILFIELDS
    Catalytic attack
And the smoke stains our skin black
Oh, the wild one will return
We'll be watching the oilfields burn
Oh, the chosen one will return
Just keep working while you sleep
    Hibernating once a week
    Doesn't matter who you know
Israel is the first to go
    For a piece to paradise
    Use a virgin sacrifice
If I die before I wake
    Someone's made a big mistake
    The Rapture will come today
    Did you get the communique?
    Armageddon is by our side
There's a fireball in the sky
There's a fireball in the sky
As we march to the end of time
    Any second we're gonna die
Just keep working while you sleep
    Hibernating once a week
    Doesn't matter who you know
Israel is the first to go
And the chosen one will return
We'll be watching the oilfields burn
Oh, the wild one will return

This is beautiful! I prefer this version to the original album version. What makes this version work for me is the vocals. The omission of the supporting vocals combined with the more matured, wisened vocal sound lend a much greater effect to the lyrical content. 💜

His vocal performance at this whole concert is really great. And you’re right it totally brings the strength of the lyrics up front as well.

the girls on viola and harp were EXCELLENT. i wish the electric bass were a BIT louder as i thought it was what made the original so awesome. great performance
