You could go into universities, there were part of Bologna system. I've personally seen students from African and Asian countries. Also if you country isn't rich (not that Russia is rich) you can work here. People from neighboring countries has been doing it for decades. There aren't many things you can't do in Russia really. The only thing we are lacking is our right to vote. Which is bad for us but not that big of concern for a tourist. On the other hand it could be much worse. I'm grateful I don't live in North Korea.

Friend born in Russia worked as a journalist. He managed to get out to US in 1981 but it took him time to save enough for bribes for documents for his wife, mother-in-law & brother. Couldn't work here in his field as that basically was propaganda. He remembered once being called on the carpet for a story he wrote about a school in Russia. Boss wanted to know why he mentioned enrollment of school. Problem? Was told the Americans could take that number & extrapolate into number of soldiers at graduation. Hell of a fellow, he just died recently. RIP, Emil!

Also if you country isn't rich (not that Russia is rich) you can work here. People from neighboring countries has been doing it for decades.
There aren't many things you can't do in Russia really. The only thing we are lacking is our right to vote. Which is bad for us but not that big of concern for a tourist. On the other hand it could be much worse. I'm grateful I don't live in North Korea.

Friend born in Russia worked as a journalist. He managed to get out to US in 1981 but it took him time to save enough for bribes for documents for his wife, mother-in-law & brother. Couldn't work here in his field as that basically was propaganda. He remembered once being called on the carpet for a story he wrote about a school in Russia. Boss wanted to know why he mentioned enrollment of school. Problem? Was told the Americans could take that number & extrapolate into number of soldiers at graduation. Hell of a fellow, he just died recently. RIP, Emil!
