As a Pole living in Ireland for more than a decade I can tell you this is 100% accurate. Especially final question 🤣 Poles and Irish are so similar after all!

There is a small difference: Poles never collaborated with the Nazis from Germany. Even though they try to deny it, how the Russians went deep and without soap into the fascist ass.
Nah, Irish people are Bohemians Celts from Bohemia. When Czechs arrived, half of the Celts left Bohemia and moved to Ireland. 😊 Till this day you have football Bohemia Dublin and Bohemians Prague

As someone currently living in Poland I loved this! Also that Polish accent is really impressive, it’s very subtle and requires so much more nuance compared to something like Italian or Russian, so bravo!
Sketch is quite funny, but the accent does not sound Polish. It sounds more eastern (or south-eastern) than Polish.

And quite usable for other countries, it wasn't too far away from a Czech, Slovak, Croatian accent ☺️ Add very long vowels and more melody and you've got yourself the basis for a Latvian and Hungarian accent ☺️ Add melody and making voiced consonants voiceless and you've got yourself an Estonian accent ☺️ Then lose the melody and make it sound like a machine gun and you've got yourself a Finnish accent 😁

Even though I knew what they were going to answer for Poland's most famous son, the fact that they built up that question for so long still made it hilarious. Well done lads.
I thought I knew... K.W. was my first guess... but then Arms kept building that Q, for so long, that it dawned on me the correct answer will be incorrectly right 😂😂

He loved not only playing football, but also skiing, kayaking as well as hiking, often with the groups of young people, from his parish 👍 So it's true... sport and religion go together and with faithful practice they even produce miracles 😘👌

This was the only joke that was stupidly stereotypical and wasn't brilliant and hilarious. The Iron Curtain fell THIRTY THREE years ago for heaven's sake, there are people with kids who have never lived behind it.

That pronunciation of dis-agree was perfect. You definitely were not speaking fast enough, though😁 my sister in law is Polish, and when she phones her family back in poland, she sounds like one of those old printers! 😂 crazy language to learn
As native Polish speaker I can only says more about your sister then language. While yes it's one of hardest to learn such fast way of speaking is completely uncommon and not normal. Young women usually speak so fast but rest of us has similar tempo to English people.

If anyone's on the fence (or indeed the iron curtain) about going to Tallinn or Warsaw to see the show, I highly recommend doing it. It'll be hilarious. By which I mean listening to them attempting to speak Estonian/Polish.

I once saw a documentary on what Central European cuisine was like in the Middle Ages. Seemed very limited and almost unrecognizable. Not just without the ingredients like tomatoes, papricas and potatoes, but even sugar hadn't been in wide use then. Lots of salty porridges and pancakes with honey back then. I support Native American languages just to pay them back for the food we eat.

@@foilarmsandhog Poland, Czechia and Slovakia had the easternmost Celtic settlements. And we Czechs and Slovaks also have beer culture, love potatoes and have Catholic history. It's also a bit similar with other regions like Belgium (their chips) and Bavaria. It might be just a crazy theory on my part, but it conspicuously corresponds with where Celtic settlements were.
I was waiting for a Polish(ed) episode and you delivered! Love the accent, rarely you hear an accurate one. And the Pianist joke took me out 😂
