To be honest, I could watch/listen to Grant talking about swings for at least 40min, I wouldn't mind more in depth/longer videos/. Might come in the future?
Honestly we probably don't want more in depth or longer because it's best to stick to the basics. Every swing and "feel" is different. Too many people over complicate golf just for the sake of more content. I believe that's what grant has done well so far, is keep it simple
Glad you said that! Most people don't understand the amount of time that goes into everything behind the scenes. Best content on this platform as far as the golf category by far.
@@TehZNCify Normal channel, this channel, vlog channel, plus the podcast, while each putting out their own content as well. absolutely insane. best golf on youtube for sure
You have the perfect platform for this. With all the good/bad things each of the members have with explanations on each member, gives you the edge that no other golf channel has that gives lessons and understanding.
Obviously the golf content speaks for itself in all the GG videos, but the best thing about these videos is how genuine Garret and Grant are. They always carry themselves with great respect, character and just seem like really good guys you would have a ton of fun being paired with randomly on the course. Keep up the amazing content guys!
A bunch of genuine gents who just want to make a difference, if one person gets that slither of confidence from grant (or any of you guys) to try something new and to try and push them selves then…………job done 🤜🙌
I must have seen hundreds of videos trying to sort my back swing. From this video I tried the one pice takeaway staying connected and bringing the wrists in later in the back swing and it’s changed my golf within 1 range session. So happy I can now hit shots straight. It also fixed my slice how I don’t know I’m not going to ask to many questions when something works it works.
I love that all you guys have awesome talent. It feels like good golfers teaching to the better golfers in general. Keep it that way, please. There are a bazillion you tube gurus teaching the basics and fault fix garbage. Love your content, keep it in the fairway, bros!
Grant-a-sorus-Rex is the new God of coaching. Tried the full shoulder turn yesterday playing golf, my irons were going a club further than they normally do .😮😮......................love it, keep up the great work guys
Truly one of the best and most understandable golf swing videos ever. Excellent work! BTW, listened EAL's pod where you were interviewed, awesome stuff.
I met with my buddy who is teaching pro, and he taught me something and makes since, the backswing is the most important part of the swing if you do it right it makes the down swing simple, right now I’m fixing over the top so I’m doing a drill with a ball about 6” behind the ball Im hitting and I have to take the club inside it instead of outside it’s helping a ton, a lot of what your talking about in here!! Keep it up you guys are awesome!!
actually the forward swing happens in 1/10th of a second so you really do not have time to adjust if your backswing gets off - that is why it is so important to set you up for success.
Thanks for the great instruction. I’ve been playing golf for over twice as long as you have been aliveanddeveloped bad habits over all that time. Keep the great work!
I just started playing golf this year in June, there’s a million videos and tutorials out there but they all feel somewhat medieval LOL. It’s nice to see someone around my age with all this knowledge! Keep these up guys they’re awesome
Great video! I was just wondering if you could do a video on hitting a golf ball from upslope and downslope lies and also when the ball is lying below and above your feet
Literally 2 minutes in and it’s amazing how putting the club across your shoulders and pointing the butt end toward the ground showed me how bad I am at my backswing. I’ve been struggling with being too flat and that instantly showed me why
At first I thought that these videos would be very basic and for new players, but the videos have helped me and apply to all different skill levels. Thanks for all you do. 👍👍
Great video guys! Love the content! Much appreciated! I know I'm in the 1 percent here, but I don't think twice about my back swing. Only focused on going to and through the ball with a square club face
I've literally been struggling with longer clubs especially driver because of take away. I watched a video of Lee Trevino giving a lesson and he said something that just made since. The golf swing starts with your left shoulder and if it doesn't you're in trouble.
Have y’all ever considered you teaching someone else that is not in the group that may not be as good of golfers to showcase some of these lessons? I know a guy… it’s me.
Been playing this game for a long time. I've really enjoyed these videos. Biggest take away? Always have a purpose on the range, and always use an alignment aid. Thanks guys. Keep grinding.
On the Garret moving his hands first I notice Peter Finch kinda does the same thing. I copied that for a few days now I'm back to the one piece take away. My swing trigger to start the back swing is on an Iron I will drop my left knee a tiny bit then go. Its more feeling then an actual drop. On a driver swing Ill drop my right knee it helps me feel like I'm hitting up on the ball off the tee.
Much better video than the previous ones! Really felt like Grant held the spotlight and was really giving a lesson and using the rest of the guys as examples. Super informative, and great because I also do the drill that you're talking about in this video!
Grant will be one of the best golf coaches on the pga in the next 9 years. Grant my buddy is helping me with the same thing right now and I just wanna say thank you and wish you and all the good good boys the best
Loving this channel and all the videos. One thing I wish was included is Grant's personal swing thoughts - he goes through all the GG members but not his own.
I enjoy these videos a lot. I like the sound effects on missed putts and fat shots. Watching Grants smooth swing has helped me a ton. Thanks guys let’s go!!!! 👍 also can you please do a video on how to lower your ball flight please I tend to hit the ball high. Is it ball position at set up or is it over swinging please help thanks 🙏
These are great videos and as you expand to more teaching lessons outside the group, I can see a phenomenal jump in viewers. Keep smiling and teaching Grant ... good good stuff :)
Awesome video that helped! Could we get one on the downswing transition. On tucking the elbow and letting the club fall behind properly. Sometimes I come over the top and notice it’s many others problem. I think it would be a great video for everyone to learn how to create that baby draw swing!
Great job as always. Can you make a video about what your hands and wrist should be doing during the swing. As an ex college baseball player I flip my hands to much. Show your wrist even move until after contact is made?
Hey Grant, thanks for your lessons. I recently bought a simulator and have been practicing your lessons. I’m 52 and don’t have the flexibility like when younger. Can you give some advice on older golfers. Love all of your and the crew content. I have lots of questions for you.
This is great, and I love to hear Grant share his knowledge of the swing. The only part of the video that I don't love is when we force every single Good Good member to swing and Grant kind of has to say that whatever they're doing is okay. Maybe Grant should be highlighting a player who is very good at the video subject, and another golfer who could stand to improve (maybe even Max or Colin). Hearing the better golfer explain what his thoughts and feel are through his swing is valuable, too. I'd just like a more focused and personal video, as opposed to all 5 non-Grant members always being highlighted equally.
they weren’t highlighted equally, he gave the viewers specific things about their backswings to look at and try to emulate. He didn’t say “this backswing is great” for every member. He even shows the bad things about their backswings that you shouldn’t copy. Having all 5 members there gives multiple examples of different kind of approaches to a back swing and what you should and shouldn’t emulate.
Hey Grant, on the back swing with the initial takeaway from the ball. Do you keep the club face square to the ball? Or when you take away do your wrists roll as your going through the baskswing?
Bubbie just did a video with Leadbetter and he was (basically) telling him to use the "...hands in/club head outside..." takeaway. It's funny because it seems Bubbie already knew about it, but what was missing was tools that would allow him to know/recognize when his takeaway was going "off piste". Fascinating...
I have some back and neck issues like Steve and don't take the club back all the way to parallel. As long as you can be consistent with it and still get speed I think that's the key. Been working on flexibility and I think it's a bit better this year than when I started playing again last year. Still hit it as far as my boys if not further, usually lol. Ask John Rahm 🤓
I know you said that there should be weight on your back leg but I hear about the one legged drill to help with the feeling of being on your lead foot… can you explain weight distribution through the swing?
These instructional videos are awesome with you guys! Please keep making them, working on my backswing myself as I take the club a little inside and shut the face and I am fighting the left hook! Thanks for the great videos, huge Fan! oh and I have most of the shirts! :)

Boys. These vids are nothing short of f-ing incredible. On behalf of every one of us, thank you all for everything you do.
Grant is so fluid in explaining the fundamentals of the golf swing. Top notch content.
And that perfectly matches his fluid golf swing.

GRant, you're the best teacher on UA-cam. Easily. Only focused on minor changes, not to completely change someone's swing. That is the best.

This was alot more simplistic than I was expecting. So used to drills, and explaining inside and outside. I like simple golf and back to basics.
