I think this is your niche Grant - do lessons with Good Good members, give lessons to fans/randoms, etc.! A lot of golf viewers through Good Good need more ways to learn about game improvement, I think you're the guy to do that! Stephen does the course, Matt/Bubbie are comedy, Garrett/Micah are matches and you're golf ed. Loving the channel, best of luck!
I agree as well. There’s a lot of great golf instruction channels on UA-cam but I like how he’s actually showing us Bubbie while giving us a tutorial. It makes it easier for me to visualize/ see the similarities in my own swing.
The best part is where he explains, "it's not the slide, it's the rotation" bit.. because that's so critical to someone saying they just need to fire the hips forward to hit a good ball.. no.. you HAVE to rotate in a coil with a constant low point.. but he's saying it's a special circumstance.. it's responsible coaching. Grant has a definite future in the gig if he wants it.
Grant giving lessons makes me want to fly to TX to take lessons from him. Bro bubbie's face at the end was priceless man. It's like no one ever took the time to explain in a way that made sense to him until Grant comes along.
Imagine being the 1 heartless person who would watch this and see the pure joy that was on Bubbies face after crushing those shots and hit the dislike button.
This was surprisingly endearing and kinda wholesome! You can really tell that Grant's advice is authentic and he genuinely cares. Great teaching! Seeing Bubbie get hyped up and excited about the improvement was awesome. You weren't easy on him either just great, consistent coaching and feedback. Well done.
I’m a 12 handicap, and this swing issue (with my driver) is literally the only thing holding me back from lowering that down to 10-8. This is exactly the video I needed. Good shit Grant!
Grant…you are a fantastic teacher. Took the tips you gave Bubbie to the range today and my slice turned to a fade turned to straight with 40 shots of my driver.
Absolutely love this. The joy and excitement from the boys is amazing. And it helps me out too!!! I’m such an over the top swinger myself! Will be working on this myself in my backyard net!!!
GRANT!!!!! DUDE!!!! The joy you just brought to Bubbie was incredible!!! You, seriously, may have just changed this man's whole game. I can not wait for Good Good Labs!!!
Llistening to the joy that grant has in his voice, while bubbie's golf swing is improving, it just brings a natural, child like smile to my face! I love this about golf.
Baseball player here and this video definitely helped me. I was Constantly pulling irons left and slicing my driver but tried on the range then took it to the course and it was much better. Thanks for the advice Grant!
Phenomenal tutorial!! I can’t imagine how many novice golfers (ME) will benefit from this video!! Very well put together! Very easy and simple instructions to follow! THANKS!
But it’s not powerful at all.. and don’t worry it will be back. A swing change takes a lot of practice. You can’t expect him to fully incorporate it right away
Grant is really such a good teacher. The way he explained everything and how he relates it to a sport Bubbie is accustomed to just shows how good of a teacher and how knowledgeable he is when it comes to the golf swing.
dude, that pause for a second to let the hands drop in to the slot took me about a decade to figure out on my own. kudos to Grant for helping out his friend, but also for putting this content out there for others to learn from. you can tell that he really enjoys helping other improve their golf game. that's a gift. keep on keeping' on!
I'm a big Bubbie fan from day one and Grant coming through for him with some clear and solid advice has just upped his ratings in my book. The group at the moment works really well and its showing in everyone's game.
What amount of time did you guys soend on the range to accomplish this? It’s amazing what you achieved in one session either way. Congrats Grant and Bubbie
Happy to hear you’re going to be doing a tutoring channel, these 11 minutes alone show you have great teaching abilities can’t wait for more videos like these!!
The internet swing coaches are going to pick your lesson apart because of your verbiage. But here’s the thing. A good swing coach knows there is a difference between “feel” and “real”. Also a good swing coach has the ability to give his/her student information in a format that the student can understand. And every student will understand uniquely.
I actually observed Garrett's swings in slow-motion on his really good drives and he does this beautifully. I've been emulating it in my own swings and started getting my drives to be a lot more consistent in terms of shot shape and distance control. I've once again started shooting in the mid to high 70s after a long break from golf. Grant nailed this concept in this video. Bubbie has great speed... can't wait to see him play some real rounds with you both especially in scramble formats.
A tip I gave my buddy at the range the other day who is new to golf and had one of the worst slices I’ve seen (2 fairways over type), is to think about almost hitting your back leg with the club head as you swing through. Don’t worry about the backswing too much don’t have too many thoughts at once just come through real close to your back leg. Just need to combat that out-to-in swing path. In reality he still wasn’t even close to hitting his leg, but putting the thought in there made something click and his slice was practically eliminated in one range sesh. Cheers Grant keep pushing the great content 🔥 Edit: Just saw the part where you say “you just gotta mentally make the change by exaggerating it” and that couldn’t be more accurate. Exactly why the above tip helped my buddy👌🏽
Actually nice to see someone who plays so good give back and help someone try to get better. Most golfers who excel at the game are usually stuck up and don’t help the average golfer correct their swing or give them swing advice. Well done bud. Out of everyone of the group you’re the one who decided to help bubbie with his slice. You’re awesome my guy
I am a high school English teacher, and I understand the joy you are feeling as you see your student gain understanding. Congratulations! BTW, my golfing buddy has a ridiculous slice, so I’ll share this lesson with him. 👏🏻✌🏻
This was great. I don’t slice often, but fascinating to watch to improvement. And Bubbie has a great attitude. He simply listened and tried what Grant was saying.
Baseball mindset, see ball, swing at ball to hit ball. Golf, allow your inside to out swing to go through the golf ball. That thought helped me fix my over the top slice. Good content guys, good luck bubbie, swing looking better!
Hi Grant, thank you so much for the tip you provide to Bubbie. I applied the tip today in the range and I am able to hit my driver much solid with a little draw on the path. Very useful tip, and make my driver swing 100 times better. I have not had that solid impact driver swing for a long time. Thank you again and keep up your hard work!
Grant making sure to state that sliding is not necessarily good but is necessary in Bubbie's case is proof he has very high level understanding of the golf swing and is an amazing instructor. It's really impressive!
Love this. Who'd have thought Bubs could draw that thing!! I knew this had happened when they kept telling him to hit a draw in one of the recent videos! Happy for him. Great work Grant!!
Watched this video yesterday and added 20-30 yards to my drives and second shots TODAY! Awesome channel (along with GM Golf). You fixed me and Bubbie! Keep up the good work Grant!
Grant, I usually deal with a hook and I started to try “sliding” more at the range today because I saw how much it helped Bubbie from your recommendation and I’ve never hit golf balls so pure and far in my life. Thanks bro!
I took this video to the range. I’ve fixed the same issue. Free lesson added 40-60 yds and a nice draw. Taking this new swing to the course tomorrow. Thanks Grant!!
Wow!!!! I agree with Luke!!.....you should really consider giving lessons! I'm a huge fan of the whole Good Good crowd....you've all taught me so much and filled my head with hours of Good Good quality, family friendly golf! ✌🏻
This video changed my game. I had the same swing as Bubbie. I watched this video earlier this week and tweaked my swing. Broke out the alignment stick. And today I took it to the course. Thank you so much for making this video and explaining it the way you did. 👍
I'm 64, my son reps for Mizuno. Gave me the same lesson last week. Made a world of difference. He is 5,6 hits 325 or so. Ol Dad here is 5,7 and 225 , picked up 15 and draw in one lesson and 2 weeks practice. Love your content. I toss my practice sessions on yt, myself for him to check.
Hit my first ever 380yd drive today with help from these tips(obviously with some roll out and a bit of tailwind). I’ve notoriously had a slight power fade and I could never quite get the distance I wanted, I was averaging 300-330 yd drives. After making some small adjustments that you mentioned in your video, I got it dialled in and going straight as an arrow. Thanks dude! Keep it up!
Man, that keep your back to the target for a second is like a revolutionary swing thought for me. I'm always so worried about rotating I throw my arms down and hit that steep slice but I wasn't sure why. Just that extra second pause at the top helps club path soooo much
This is awesome!!! I haven't played since I got home from Afghanistan 10 years ago. I want to pick it back up again and do lessons because my kids have shown an interest.
As a baseball player that's an above average golfer, this video helped SO much personally and i'm sure a lot of others would agree. The hip twist without sliding forward is what ruined my driver (some would say baseball swing ruined it) and I now have a better understanding of why I'm hitting it like im hitting it.
I always thought Grant would be good at teaching these guys lol. You love to see it. This video will probably get the most views out of everyone this week lol.
Appreciate all the support guys! Y’all have been amazing. Bubbie killed it
after watching this i would like to see you take random golfers and fix there swing
#grantfixmyswing
Cant wait till he is out driving tig
Dude if you don’t ever make it as a pro you’d be a great teaching pro so keep that in mind.
@@SamMarkham Driving Tig where?
Grant: talking about angles, paths, positions etc.
Bubbie: DAT JOINT IS GOIN
🤣🤣🤣
This comment got me good.
Lmao I was thinking that
🤣🤣🤣🤣
That joint

it's your calling Mr. Horvat.
I believe thats why grant was added to good on their podcast they talked about him doing things good goodgood labs where they teach golf
I agree. I immediately went to grants channel to look for more videos like this.
Good good labs is about to be lit with Grant at the helm
I agree as well. There’s a lot of great golf instruction channels on UA-cam but I like how he’s actually showing us Bubbie while giving us a tutorial. It makes it easier for me to visualize/ see the similarities in my own swing.
Bubbie Draws has entered the building. Hitting those tings over that joint.
Grants such an amazing coach man… sheesh… dude knows exactly wtf he’s talking about. 💯

@@lokidecat couldn’t have said It any better. Grant is very thorough. Dude has such a bright future..
Watching this a year later, regularly seeing Bubbie rip massive draws now is pretty inspirational
I think that's just cause his clubs are over corrective, and his swing is way different now.
He’s actually completely forgotten how to hit a fade now… he had a video the other day where he called a fade shot and he hooked it. Love that man
Grant is gonna be big. Amazing player, coach, and personality. Has crazy potential in many areas
Grant giving lessons makes me want to fly to TX to take lessons from him. Bro bubbie's face at the end was priceless man. It's like no one ever took the time to explain in a way that made sense to him until Grant comes along.
So hyped to see Bubbie play with this new knowledge
Hope he applies it!!

They probably just like Bubbies slice lol
Probably Tig hahaha jk
They're puppy kickers.
Tig just has 43 fake accounts lol
Lol definitely tig
Micah: "bubbie you've never hit a draw in you're life"
Bubbie: "Hold my joint"
Grant taking his skills and making everyone around him better. This man is just a great guy
If Bubbie fixes that slice, no one else has a chance! It’s going to be birdie season for him
I agree
🧢
He's gonna ditch these tips like he did with Garrett's lesson.
This was a GREAT video. It made me smile seeing Bubbie see the results.
Great teaching Grant and great learning Bubbie! 👌🏻
The surprise and relief on Bubbie’s face is so wholesome and electric! If he gets this down consistently, he’s gonna be a problem!!
Finally now bubbie can tell Micah he can hit a draw
And probably out drive him too
I was thinking that too.
They’re not talking
AHAHAHAHAHAHA
@@rudobezuidenhout4611 hell nah. Micah can get up to 135 club head speed. Bubbies sitting about 118. Which is still absolutely moving it

Grant just did the impossible in less then 15mins.
Bubbie is the man. Always the best character in the videos. Issa vibe.
Honestly one of my fav UA-cam videos. I’m sure that brought a smile to a lot of people’s faces! Grant you’re a class act 🙏🏻

Tig- “you’ve never hit a draw”!
Bub-hits a draw!
Tig- 😳
😂
Actually, Tig would say after the shot, nice left to right flight ....

i really like that Grant teaches this the right way. Rotation is king, and bubbie does a nice hinge and hold through impact.
I’m just so glad Grant joined good good. He’s the freaking man

Bubbie getting stroked off and just loving every minute of it haha
Like Bubbie’s feedback on driver ‘want to feel wide…keeping back to target’ that’s good right there thank you
Amazing work
Really love this video NO ONE on UA-cam breaks down the swing like this.. They just tell you what to do not how to fix what you are doing..
Grant…you should find a regular high & mid handicapper that you try to get to break 100 and 90 for GG labs.
I’ll sacrifice myself for the greater goodgood. 😂
He can take Bubbie :) def. Playing about 100
I think Bubbie breaks 100 easily - he’s probably a 8-10 handicap or better now that he’s improving his slice.
