....your one of the most helpful artist on the tube.....lots of tips and advice to make your own drawings better, thank you so much!
+Rick L Thanks for your support! :-)
By the way the audio is very clear which is a problem with a lot of videos .Your speech too is very clear and easy to understand .
You have a special way of communicating. Really good video. I learned quite a bit particularly when you referenced your completed sketches and tied everything together visually. You're a very good visual teacher.
Even though I already know about these techniques it is good to hear other peoples interpretations of them. Some people get too complicated but you give perfect explanations of them and easy to follow. Thank you Teoh.
The best insight on perspective, I have ever seen. Thanks a million.
Excellent, excellent instruction. You are an exceptionally good teacher. Thanks!
Hi tech. You are a wonderful motivator, All your advice and demonstrations are inspiring. Your urban sketching tours fill me with envy, hope one day you might come ‘down under’.

Very useful tutorial. Tq
Wonderful.
Love the way u demonstrate. Could u do a video on foreshortening at some point. I often struggle with that.
Good idea
Thank you for this vid.
ty!
Hi Teoh! Thanks for another wonderful video. I feel that I have a much greater appreciation for good sketches now, such as your examples :) I'm still not sure I get the distinction between perspective and placement, though. Are you saying that the mid-ground tree at 12:20 and the foreground tree at 12:30 just appear or actually _are_ bigger than the ones behind them? I get how their placement relative to the horizon makes them look closer, but it seems their heights compared to the bigger of the two trees in the back is still hard to gauge....
Lástima que no lo editas con subtítulos en español. Pero son buenísimos tus videos. Muchas gracias.
Thank Teoh.
I have had problems with objects that appear to float on the picture plane. Some shadows can help but not always. How about a video addressing this problem. Love your videos and have just joined your Patron page. Thanks
+David Raynalds Perhaps the video I linked may help you. Just substitute human figures for the objects you're drawing. Or you can just post a link to your drawing so that I can see and comment ua-cam.com/video/3GYuzHhes3Q/v-deo.html
+Teoh Yi Chie Thanks I'll re-watch that and see if I missed something.
was it marker pens or water colour u use for giving colours for those real life scenes? it was good and simple . @t
+Jithin raj c.v I use mostly fountain pens with waterproof ink and watercolour.
Teoh Yi Chie thnxx
what materials did you use in coloring?
What fountain pen are you using here? Thanks
Pelikan M200
bless
What's the pencil you're using?
Staedtler 2mm lead holder
what pen did you use?
Pen? Pelikan M200
Great perspective vid tutorial,Teoh! TFS! 😃👍🏾 How’s the baby??
Thanks. Baby's much bigger now. Just learning to crawl. lol
👧
FANTASTIC TUT. I really am interested in your style of urban sketching. For example, one of the watercolored works you showed in the end, how long would a sketch like that take you to create on location?
Depends on the complexity. Easier pieces may take 45min to an hour, larger ones maybe 1.5 to 2 hours.
I guess the "r" in overlap got lost in perspective ;-p
Hahahaha 😂 oh good
You dont used 3d in the drawing.....
I think the bench is in 3d
Why are you wear this shirt most of time 😋??
It is extremely durable. The colours just don't fade even years of washing. lol
My apologies for accidentally clicking on dislike. Bad. I can't seem to undo it. (Reason: I was eating my breakfast. Thus, not concentrating on what I clicked on.)
+Dindin Lagdameo No problem. For the accidental dislike, you have to click 10 Likes. Hahhahahaaa. Kidding. Don't worry about it.
That will be easy because I love your channel.
:) :) :)
his breathing kills me....
ikr ! xD
