Drawing on location without using perspective

Knowing perspective is helpful but not a must when it comes to location drawing or drawing from observation.

+J J Kanuck That's the iPad but I seldom draw outdoors with it. At home I use a Wacom Intuos tablet to draw. I prefer to draw on sketchbooks and paper.
