Cheney talks with CBS News' John Dickerson about how the leading GOP candidate's own words reveal his plans for a second term, and why she believes blocking Trump and preventing a Republican House majority in the next election is "the cause of our time."

I am a liberal, a Democrat, and I value fidelity to the Constitution as much as Ms. Cheney does. (And I'm an Army veteran, too. I swore an oath to the Constitution, as she did.) I don't think it is necessarily only a conservative value. It's more like a patriotic one. The fight ahead of us will require all who are faithful to the Constitution - conservatives to liberals - to join together against tyranny.

I took an oath at 18 when I joined the USAF to support the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. There are domestic enemies in this country at this time.
The Bill of Rights, is the most important part of the Constitution, as it codifies in the initial Law of the Republic, the Rights and Freedoms of American Citizens, that Governments (State and Federal, and their Agencies) are to NOT interfere with or "infringe upon". Liz Cheney has not and is not addressing the infringements of the Obama / Biden and Biden Administrations against the "Constitution" (and there for We The People and our Rights and Freedoms) - as she is seeking media attention in support of her book.
