I find it quite disturbing that Liz Cheney talks about the danger of a post truth world when her father lied us into wars that has caused untold death and suffering that will last for many years to come. These people are truly sick!

The amount of Post 9/11 vets I have met is staggering. The number of us that deployed is shrinking by the day because of suicide. Our generation has felt that our service meant nothing because the baseless/false reason we went in to Iraq. And now, Afghanistan is a wash after 20 years. Depression is rampant…we have PTSD issues…returning home presented challenges with substance use and criminal records. It’s not good for sure.

Wow. That is a good point, but it’s also fair to say most of these issues are more a matter of weak egos and an inability to backtrack and admit you were wrong. She did it wit same sex marriage, no small thing for these people and she’s one of the few on the right standing up to abject, true evil in our country. Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. If we gauged everyone in that much black and white, not a single politician should ever be relied on for anything, which wouldn’t be the most unreasonable tact in he world, but also unpractical and unhelpful.

You have to try and find some good out of everything so the way I'm looking at is that I'm thankful I guess that we at least have a comedy sketch to laugh at and make fun of to help us get through a pandemic when so many have suffered and died. And I laugh at both sides. Doesn't matter what party, gender, race, background, etc. I don't discriminate when it comes to try to find some joy and humor from anyone I can if they're doing stuff and things that are laughable and comical.

According to what I remember reading about it, Cheney's secret service detail wouldn't allow the Police to interview Cheney afterwards, which the law requires after a hunting accident. I strongly suspect that Cheney was intoxicated at the time, which brings charges against him automatically due to the involvement of firearms, from what I understand..., and that's why Cheney had his SS detail keep the cops away from him. Not a warning..., intoxicated.

I don't agree with her politics, but Cheney is certainly a brave person. I wish more republicans would do the same. I'm afraid most of the Trump supporters, at this point, realize they've made a huge mistake, but they don't have the guts to admit their mistake.

Liz is not qualified and is nothing but the democrats pawn. She sites the constitution, yet she is not following the constitution. If she was, then Trump would be pushed forward and charged by the Judicial Branch of the constitution. The Congress can only make laws. They are not part of the Judicial Branch of the Constitution. I say, he should be charged and go through the judicial court system, where both sides are heard, then if found guilty, convicted and sentenced. All of these hearings are a waste of taxpayer's money. Being a native of Wyoming and one who voted for Liz Cheney not once but twice and being a lifetime Republican and conservative in most of the things that I believe in I look at Liz Cheney as an American Hero. She took a stand and held to her guns in a metaphorical sense against the Tyranny that Donald Trump would foment upon this country this nation. Liz Cheney said of Taylor Swift that she is an American treasure and I think that can be applied to Liz Cheney as well having said all that let me say that I am transgender I have transitioned from male to female and I am proud that I had Liz Cheney as a representative in the US Congress.❤
She is one of the only Republicans I respect. We may disagree on many issues, (which is normal), but when it came down to right and wrong and protecting our democracy, she stood up for us and for what was right. I appreciate her character and strength in putting our country first.
I am a longtime Wyoming resident, and for the first time will gladly vote for Ms. Cheney in 2022. Remember Ms. Cheney voted 97% in line with Trump and voted for him 2x; it’s his actions thereafter she is calling out, and I thank her for it. All of her challengers so far are an absolute joke, and that was before Trump’s endorsement. Ms. Cheney is willing to lose her seat over what is right; we need many more politicians willing to do the same.
I do not trust that she genuinely believed in impeaching Trump. She is a corrupt neocon, just like her entire family.

About 35 years ago, I went through a difficulty situation in which I was subjected to a hostile work environment that was ongoing for several years. Some of the people who were most supportive were from the LBGT community, probably because of their own experiences with workplace hostilities. Oftentimes, the guidance and support of friends and family is the catalyst for personal growth.
I believe this 100%. I wonder about her degree of empathy, and not because she’s female. If you can’t see that discrimination is wrong unless it involves someone close to you, where is your empathy for people in general?

The only thing she said I was wrong about is gay marriage - which her sister participated in and her father, who she talks to daily, supports it. However, she is against abortion, Obamacare, waterboarding, which she denies is torture. She voted for Trumps policies 93% of the time. Also, against Biden's getting out of Afghanistan - which Trump began (one of the only things I agree upon which of course he did not follow up on.) Also the policies that got us into Iran and Afghanistan vis a vis the great late team of Bush and Chaney. If torture was fine why persecute member of CIA who openly told American public what was going on in the torture prisons. The constitution has a Judicial Branch and why has Liz not pushed to have Trump charged and processed through the judicial system? This is the third government one sided hearing on the Trump Insurrection charge. Yet, none of them count because they are not the judicial system. So, why are the dems avoiding the judicial court system? Three government hearings paid for by the taxpayer's and they have no power to charge, prosecute and if convicted deliver a sentence. WHY? Liz is nothing but a rhino who is stupid enough to allow the dems to use her as a pawn to trash Trump.
