Great reviews! I just got my first Hosanna CSB with lined margins for note taking. The quality is wonderful! It feels so good in my hands. I love the creamy yellow of the pages. I love the size of it. I love that it isn't heavy and feels like a $200 to $300 priced Bible. At first I felt that the font size of 8 pt. seemed quite small but I later discovered I am not having any trouble reading it. It's the perfect Bible to take to church, Sunday School and Ladies Bible Study. It's exactly what I was looking for, but even better. I am so pleased with it! Your review makes me want one more like these! LOVE your reviews and my Bible by Hosanna Revival!
I remain grateful to you, Tim, for turning me onto the NLT. I just finished reading the Old Testament. Though I have a dozen translations in three languages, the NLT illustrated the Old Testament in a way that I have never known.

Thank you Becca and Tim for this review. For quite sometime I heard and read many comments, both positive and negative, regarding the New Living Translation. I finally decided that I should read it for myself and draw my own conclusions. I acquired a Cambridge Pitt Minion NLT (not easy to find these days!) and read it from Genesis 1 right through Revelation 22. What a marvelous read! What a great translation! While I would not recommend the NLT to be a personal study Bible, I think it makes a perfect companion to a more word-for-word literal translation like the KJV, NKJV, NASB, or ESV. These compact Bibles from Hosanna Revival look great and I think they will be very useful to anyone who would like to have a wonderful NLT Bible.
My daughter is 10 years old and I think I will buy her the brown version of this bible. NLT is perfect for beginners as a companion bible with another more literal translation like the ESV.

I never heard of this publisher before you posted this video. This looks like it fills that gap between Tyndale's compact (smaller than a Pitt) Bible and their overly chunky large print compact. Thanks for sharing!
I have the NLT Compact Giant Print that has a 5 x 7.5 cover and thumb indexed, for my convenience. It's by Tyndale and I bought it when it went on sale over a year ago. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on the version because I was unfamiliar with it and wanted to see if "we" were compatible. I really like the size of my Bible, and the font, though obviously not super large, is easy for these old eyes to read. I have seen some reviews of Hosanna Revival Bibles on your channel and other reviewers. They are beautiful Bibles and Hosanna has some other items as well on their website. I personally don't own anything from them, yet! I really appreciate Becca's contributions to the descriptions of both of these because she is an artist and sees things through a feminine eye. Nice to see Louie too. :)

Love your Bible reviews. Do you know of any new NIV premier collections coming out. I’ve noticed that on Zondervans website the thin line goatskin as well as a few more are out of stock. Maybe they are coming out with a new collection line. I would love to see a video on any new premier collection Bible they have coming out. Thanks for all you do for Bible nerds like myself 😂
TBH, as I perused Hosanna Revival's website and saw their offerings, I couldn't hep but feel that they were catering almost exclusively to women, particularly with the cover designs. I don't know many men who'd prefer Bible covers with the colors or flowery designs on them. All of their marketing photos show only women holding and using Bibles. The only Bible in their NLT compact offerings that would pass as a "guy's" Bible would be the Jerusalem theme that you showed. It seems they could have had a more balanced offering that would also appeal to men.
Quick question. Does the gray one have the same gold accents inside or do that just to go with the guilding? Hard to tell from the pictures on the site?

This is a new color for the pages, I like it. It may just be me but the paper looks a bit thicker than normal too. Overall, a really nice Bible.
