I like the Hooke road as far as the mounting bracket to the roof. I think it's more stable than the Stand off on the prinsu.

My only concern with the Hooke is that it's steel and I'm buying this rack for a saltwater kayak..

You didnt put the strip in the front faring of the prinsu, you will hear a lot of wind noise
