YES 👏🏻 when I did my first day of jumping rope I didn’t stretch before or after like an idiot and it took me 4 days to recover from extreme soreness with wrapping my knees and ankles. after that I did similar stretches to these BEFORE AND AFTER jumping and then I only had minimal soreness. if your starting out like me I cannot stress enough how important it is to stretch so you can jump right back into your exercise routine without missing days because of pain
YES! It's unfortunate you had to learn the hard way but now you know the benefits to a good warm up and stretch!
Ditto. Especially since I'm over 50.
😂😂😂 same
Omg I did the same thing I was in painnn
Same... and I did that two times in a row, I‘m dead x.x I want to continue with rope skipping and become better. Hope this helps.
I needed this soooo bad! Started the 1000 a day one and I AM SOREEEeeeeeee!.
Happy to help
Congratulations
if its sore mean you killing it, dont give up skip for 10 min atleast pain will go away slowly.
Qaiser Baig thank you not stopping! Just making sure I stretch before and after.
Janae Thomas thank you, I’m going to try this💜
You can literally feel the difference in you legs from when you sit down at the start and at the end of the cool down!
Yeaaaah I felt it too!!
100% I could sit on my fit by the end.
I felt it! And more the next Day👌
Great stretch after a 30min jump rope session .... please add more especially with a good calf stretch Thanks 🙏
Just started jumping rope again yesterday....and UA-cam recommends this video....never searched it though....smart phone must be listening....
Loved it. My sister is a yoga teacher and she had taught me the same poses for me to recover from leg injuries as I do lot of jump rope and running
Amazing!
Hello! Do you know if these stretches are recommended for operated knees?
@@sjchvr1081 you can ask ur doctor bout that!
Stretching has become even more important as I've reached my mid 30's. I need to develop a better routine with this. Good video Dudes🤜
I too subscribed your channel
This was a great idea! I hope you keep making these yoga vids as they’re really useful
That was very Zen, Dude! gonna add this to the end of my rope routine! Thanks bro
So simple yet so effective! Good work, as always.
This is perfect, I've just started to jump rope somewhat regularly and have been looking for a yoga stretch to help with recovery. 💕
Have gotten into jump roping because of you guys and I’m down from a 38 to a 34! Thank you for what you do and you have helped me get back on track and loving my life!
Love you guys. Ive been doing your workout for 3 weeks consecutively and i fell in love with jumping ropes!!!!! 🤪JUST DOTHEDAMNTHING💪🏻
Just finished doing the thing! Thanks, dude! I am a beginner and I combined this recovery yoga with the beginner workout and it feels awesome! Big up dudes
Thanks so much for the FULL FOLLOW ALONG cool down! Super effective and the only one I've seen on YT!!!! More please!
I am in great need of this video as my feet and back are in pain bcoz of jumping rope... Thank you to make a video over it
I watch this every day after I jump 🙏 thank you JRD :)
I'm stuck in another country right now and I somehow didn't forget to bring my JR before I came here. After I found your channel like last month, I never stopped jumping everyday except for a day or 2 rest after a week of JR. Easiest workout and consistency since all the gym is closed but I have JR as my current go to equipment. Keep it coming!
Just got my crossropes today, definitely worth the price love them
Great video and would definitely love to see more of these! Nothing like yoga after a workout... 🙏🏻
This helped me SO MUCH thank you!
Brandon, that was great! I’ve never really enjoyed yoga before, I think I don’t have the patience, but that was absolutely brilliant, so accessible and no stretch was too long or too difficult for a novice like me to hold! I’ll be doing that after jump sessions from now on, thank you so much for posting that. 👍🏻😀
Just got my 1st rope and loving this page!! 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Thank u so much for this! I injured my shins and this is exactly what i need!

Awesome video. Just started taking up jump rope again. Haven't done it since school and I'm now in my 30's. Was feeling very sore after 30mins jump rope 2 days ago. Found this video and had helped straight away. Bought a half pound and a 1.5 pound rope. Going to be fun!
