Oh yes. Even when I'm doing something like adult kickball. During the summer I don't have to warm up at all, but early spring if it's cool enough out, sometimes I can go for a jog before hand, then if I stand around for too long before I sprint around bases, I've definitely pulled a hammy doing that.
Thanks, I have been jumping rope for about six weeks and slowly increasing the ammount I do. Today I developed shoulder and hand/forarm pain, the shoulder is new, the hand has been coming on for about a week. At first I thought it was due to smartphone/pc overuse, an old problem, but then realised it was rope overuse/bad form so now I am resting while seeking out what to do to prevent it happening again. These warm ups seem ideal as they are aimed at where my pains are. The reason I am doing the exercise is because my blood pressure is high. A couple of years ago my blood pressure went down a lot when doing exercise so I want to see if jumping rope will also lower my blood pressure as I had to stop doing the exercise I was doing before. I will rest for a few days, learn the warm up and do it a few days to get into a habit before starting rope again and also watch your preventing injury vids. They are all very useful.
I bought my set of jump ropes from cross ropes, an once I got the rhythm I was having so much fun that I lost track of time. Like you said start of SLOW but it was to late had painful knee pain. It’s been 2weeks an im all healed been jumping 3 days out of the week till I Become a Jump Rope Master. lol
Thanks to you guys it’s my New Cardio workout. Got me motivated to start a UA-cam channel. Started my Weight loss journey 2022 using Jump rope an other workouts, an hopefully it helps or inspires anyone. I’m Improving my channel it’s not perfect but baby steps right.👍
Just received my crossrope lean set and crossrope jump rope mat. Cant wait to get started. Have been lifting for a lot of years and ran here and there but I am excited for this new journey in fitness and reaching my goals. I found your channel a few weeks ago and enjoy your content.
I just started jumping rope last week. I am not consistent. I can do 5 mins jump rope and rest for 5 mins. Then back again 5 mins jump rope. Alternate. This makes me sweat a lot. I jump rope to lose weight and also for my hypertension. Doing my best to be consistent. I do also low carb diet not so strict but i guess its working.i have 3 layers in my belly. Now down to 2.😄
Problem I keep having is that I jump after work. I have 15 to 20 minutes then gotta do other life stuff My body is warm but after my shift my legs are tired and I keep tripping on rope.
I used to love jumping rope when I was a kid.. Now I'm 25 and overweight I was already working on my diet but wasn't able to exercise as I'm lazy 🥲 Your videos have inspired me to start jumping rope again because its fun + it'll help me lose weight I've started it since 2 days and am enjoying 😍 Thankyou for these videos
Great video! I jumped rope for the first time today with Crossrope. Starting slow like you suggested with sets of 30 seconds jumping and 10 seconds rest. And I was really tired after 5 rounds and I can really feel it in my shoulders. Maybe 1/2lb is too heavy to begin with for me. Or should I continue with this? Anyway... I'd like to suggest a cool down video similar to this one. After I was done jumping, I was exhausted. And I think a nice cool down would be a great addition and would really complete the workout.
Enjoy those ropes! You'll find it gets easier and easier. Here are our favorite cool down routines: ua-cam.com/video/qAn8GHmn6Cs/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/6agq6LCh_K8/v-deo.html
After 3 days of jump rope, the back of my right hurt really bad like I pulled something. Im like damn I have to stretch all crazy and massaging to loosen it. I should’ve watched your warm stretching videos first lol
Hi everyone. Just bought my first speed rope today... I have a question, would like someone to help me if possible. My goal isn't losing weight, but get a better condition overall, more strenght, cardio, muscle... All those good stuff ehehe but I really don't want to lose any kilo/pound... Can I do it ? Edit: another thing, I eat a LOT but Im always on 64kg...
Good rule of thumb is to adjust your rope so the end of it reaches just under your arm pit/nipple area. If you get a cross rope they have a height guide when your order so you get the right length that matches your height.
That is such an interesting choice of a thumbnail. So why? I'm a man who's interested in evolving. I would expect you'd have a similar outlook. But... if i had to guess, you were coerced into publishing this video with that specific thumbnail. Now as for the intended purpose, I already know that. What confuses me is why YOU would do it. Is it money, maybe you just decided all of the sudden that you hate me, a "famous" person said they'd be your friend if you did it? Not really expecting a response. I just wanted to have sort of an open dialog about what im thinking i guess. I dont know what you consider this to be, but from my limited perspective it seems like bashing. And yeah it's mostly harmless but what you don't know is that the people that came to you out of blue and requested that you do this, assuming you were contacted by my usual enemies(mainly Matthew Noszka). Unless you decided to up and be an @sshole all on your own. They've done this what seems like hundreds of times quite literally. And tomorrow they'll find someone else to convince to bash me via subliminal video post. I'm not mad. I'm just trying to study their thinking process. So please if you can, what was the incentive? What was the thing that made say to yourself, "Yes I will totally help you bash this pervert" I'm dying to know your answer. With peace & love, enjoy your day.
Never knew you had to do a warm up I used to get leg cramps at night when going to sleep lol ima start doing this😭♥️
I never knew i had to warm up if i live in a colder area, that is good to know !Thank you !!

Or email us at contact@jumpropedudes.com (not much we can do over YT).
Amazing Id lovee to do jump opes but am a little clumsy
how much water should you drink each day?
Shoot for 1/2 your body weight in oz.
How tall are you and what length rope are you using in this vid? Small, medium, large?
Good rule of thumb is to adjust your rope so the end of it reaches just under your arm pit/nipple area. If you get a cross rope they have a height guide when your order so you get the right length that matches your height.
Is it OK to jump rope on bare foot?
