Hey Olivia, I just wanted to thank you for sharing your heart and commend you for your courage and authenticity, truly a breath of fresh air in this day and age. I find myself on a path similar to yours in many ways so I recognize your bravery and sympathize with so many of your struggles. We live in such a broken world, and for those of us who feel it very deeply, and recognize the hypocrisy of it all, the world can seem a very dark place. I see it as a good sign though that you struggle with the rules, regulations, and red tape society loves to impose on us. Theres that quote. “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” Many people live lives of quiet desperation because they lack the courage to be honest with themselves and with others, so never apologize for taking the initiative. My heart broke when you said during your low points that you feel your value is less than maybe others who don’t struggle, iv felt the same at times, but I can honestly tell you that in fact it is the opposite. For those of us who have to fight a little harder than others, there’s a strength and resilience that builds over time, as you stand defiantly through each storm that comes, as well as a perspective that develops which gives you the unique ability to help others, like you did me. So if you ask me, if anything, you are more valuable. Ps. Im with you on the whole label thing. Labels too easily become our identity and begin to define us. Besides you can’t put a label on an original work of art…which we all are. I also really like what you said about passion pointing us towards our purpose..I couldn't agree more!
