Thank you, Rob! I came in at the tail end, but I'm looking forward to watching the recording. This weekend, I tried using DaVinci Resolve for the first time and I had no idea where I was going! It was wayyyyyy more involved than I anticipated. And I was just trying to edit my first little 3-minute introduction video! I'm hoping I can get a little enlightenment after watching your video 😅
Amazing as always! You are entirely responsible for getting me unstuck 😂🙏🏻 I bought a course in Udemy to learn DaVinci and it’s been extremely beneficial. We have free professional videos to practice 😃
Thanks Julie and thanks for watching! Good luck with the course... Davinci can be overwhelming as there is so much you can do with it (I've only scratched the surface myself)... always something you can learn with it! Cheers :-)
Thanks for replying to my comment regarding how to display comments on the screen. Really appreciated the knowledge sharing. For reference it was around 27:50
2 things I would like to ask you demonstrate on your future live shows or videos, 1. Do you use Camtasia Audiate and if so can you show a video on it and 2. when you put yourself in the bottom right corner of a Camtasia studio editor demonstrations, how do you eliminate the background ?? Do you use a green screen behind you ?? Maybe these have already been shown / discussed and if so I would like to find the video and if not, maybe this will spark an idea for you in the future !!!
Here's a video on how I remove my background and put myself in my tutorial videos: ua-cam.com/video/eDT9iiEVX4M/v-deo.htmlsi=SRT95Zbb2FhMxF-b As for Audiate, I do not currently use it so it's not something I'd be comfortable demonstrating live at this time. Perhaps in the near future, but it's not something I've needed as of yet :-)
Thank you Rob! Very helpful, lots of great info! I'm trying to learn a little bit each day. I am using iMovie on my phone but I did down loaded the DaVinci Resolve today to try. I'm just banking a few batch videos before publishing Nov1st. You are very helpful Rob, really appreciate. Canva live on Mac be great!
Awesome! Good luck with Davinci... try not to get too overwhelmed with it (there's a lot to it but a lot you don't need to know about in the beginning). And have fun! Cheers :-)
@@JoBlackwell-MidlifeAndBeyond No... I've been live streaming since before I even had 500 subs. But you do need to verify your account and you need to "enable" live streaming on your account. After you do that you should have it as an option within 24 hours :-)

Glad to help!
@@RobtheMaritimer I think you should plan a video for step by step process of doing live streaming and go over how to set up hardware/software etc.

Great video. BTW, if you are a MAC user, no need to buy paid subscription to Canva to make overlays. You can make them in Keynote.
Thanks for sharing that info! Cheers :-)

Will you consider creating a video on how to do these lives professionally, please Rob?
Yes, absolutely! It's on my list :-)
@@RobtheMaritimer brilliant. Quick question - can you only do lives once monetized? I don't seem to have the tab as I'm not quite there yet.
