    This is an EXCELLENT job! Troubled hair, ie severely damaged, balding, etc, can really bring on an emotional depression to an individual. What you did here definitely brought her spirits up 1000%! I'm sure you gave her advice on how she should take care of her hair in between visits too. I'd never leave you if I were her. I been natural for the last 3yrs now bcuz of what i experienced working in Healthcare and actually seeing a black female inside of the brain and seeing green chemical around the perimeter of the brain and the dr said it came from overly chemical processed toxics used on her scalp throughout her life. I was done with perms then but now i want to revert back to the perm bcuz its just so easy to manage than with all my course hair on my head now. I think today they call it 4c hair...lol...i say its coarse hair as in harder to manage.

    • @wyntersteele1a
      @wyntersteele1a 4 роки тому +2

      I agree that she probably leave the chemicals alone for now, but in her case a perm will make this less noticeable. Everyone wants to be confident when out in public and her hair came out beautifully.
      I am not speaking of her case, but I know two women who have worn weaves/wigs their entire life. When they take the fake hair out or off, they look like they have cancer. That is how drastic the damage is. It is frightening. You want them to put the hair back in.
      Ripping fake hair off that the glue did not dissolve, cutting out sew-in, tight hair styles....

    You’re an angel darling! I’m not here for mistake, I’m bold right now, after a bad relaxer work and an episode of psoriasis I decided to chopped all the dead hair and more. My natural texture is hard to manage. Hairstylists on the area not doing your job and avoid curly-on bad condition hair. When I see the transformation... 🙌 Love it. The kind words about your clients smiles after saw the results in a sensitive topic make your day, touched me a lot. I hope the best for you and your work darling.💖

  • @Lucretias5
    @Lucretias5 5 років тому +118

    I love the transformation, and I heard your disclosure statement. Although you gave the client what she asked for as a Hair Stylist I would not have serviced her because that relaxer will cause more damage in the future. I experienced hair loss and I use to stay in the hair salon faithfully and my stylist never mentioned that my hair was falling out in the places that i could not see. Then when I started to noticed my hair thinning she recommended a quick weave which ended up causing more damage due to the glue and the cap . So when I became a hair stylist i vowed that i would never agree to give someone a temporary fix because i knew what the outcome was going to be. Other then that nice cut and nice hair style i hope your client looks for other ways to fix her hair because if she does not all of her hair is going to fall out and she will not have hair to transform.

      they said she was natural. I thought she already was using a relaxer from the jump. her hair looked fried in the beginning. maybe heat damage. my hair was damaged recently and I just shaved it bald in March. Although it's short, I now have a head full of hair. No bald spots, no excessive shedding. sometimes you have to start over and learn from your past mistakes. I also prayed that God would heal my scalp and hair.

    • @lula_maybe_me2196
      @lula_maybe_me2196 4 роки тому +24

      If done right her hair won't fall out, the relaxer could be a one time deal til she gets a lil length and as it grows out she can be deep conditioned and sat under a dryer with her hair molded and that will be less heat from the flat iron and as time goes on she can slowly cut the relaxer out and have her back natural and healthy, it's a process... I'm sure she will do a great job

    All these hair chemicals constantly being used on our body doesn't help. I experienced the same issue, relaxing my hair, wigs, extensions. Sometimes our body just needs a break from it all. My hair was damaged around my hairline front and back but had lots of length in the middle. The best thing I ever did was shave it all off. Three years on still natural and the volume and length of my hair is simply amazing.

      This is why I try to tell people be natural and uses herbs. This lady is missing hair and the hairstylists was thinking more on how to achieve the hairstyle rather than the health of her hair, those chemicals don't make it no better and if this lady would to do like you did and cut it all off and treat the follicles with care than her hair will grow back in no time.

      Girl I was just thinking the same thing. I had relaxers for years and hair grew long and thick. I decided to go natural and now its thin and shorter, hard to manage and not cute like most natural styles I see all over people head. Have at it. Natural is not for everyone. I am going to relax mine again too after I talk with my dermatologist, whose hair is relaxed long, thick and healthy looking.😂 I was a licensed cosmetologist and salon owner for years. None of my clients lost hair when relaxed. Matter of fact with a good hair regimen, their hair stayed on point. Mine too.

      Beautiful cut and style ......but looks aa if she has some type of scarring alopecia that dies require medical attention to get her on a regimen to promote hair growth. Long neglect will soon show "bald via shinningness and when "ballspots show shinnyness that can mean the hair follicle is now dead and there's no expectation hair growth where it shines! Refer her to a Dermatologists Dr ASAP for options. 🙏🏽

      Wig/hat/scarf rubbing maybe the bigger issue. Fine hair will break from constant rubbing which makes alopecia worse then relaxer. After 30 yrs being a stylist sometimes its better the hair at least be loose.
