Eva Rene’ the problem is she states often that she likes to keep her hair short and rice water is her go to when she wants to grow it out. Also she is a nutritionist who uses the product on her clients so come on people. Even a hair stylist doesn’t have to use every product on the market to know what results people have gotten so people do need to pull back on being so quick to criticize and think on these open forums.

Sorry I'm so late everyone but here are my results. I used this treatment "once a week for 5weeks" and my hair grew about 3 inches longer. It's especially good for those with lil to no edges. I used white rice and distilled water. I let it sit for 24hrs before using it. It works but it also dries your scalp and hair so i used "wild growth oil" to keep my hair and scalp moist. I still use this treatment and my hair is so healthy. I don't like making videos but i might just to show you all a before and after because i took pics. Oh yeah, my daughters don't call me Mrs. Unbeweavable anymore because i wear my own hair now instead of weaves 😂 Thanks so much for this video Debbie😘

I am not a doctor, but let me add this: rinse your rice twice with bottled or distilled water. use 1 cup rice to 1 1/2 cups water and soak at least 24 hours. do NOT use your hands to stir/rinse the rice. use a spoon. all the germs, etc. on your hands will also ferment. use jasmine rice. it smells wonderful. no funky smell. also, warm the drained water (don't microwave) by setting your container in a bowl or pot of warm water: unless you want the shock of pouring cold water through your hair. pour over a bowl so you can capture the runoff and repour it over your hair. just sit at the table over a container. put your head/hair in the bowl to be sure to cover the crown area. cover hair. then, rinse after 60 minutes.

You are absolutely right!!! I started using rice water in June of this year. I saw results immediately! It is 10 days until Thanksgiving and my hair has grown 2 inches or a little more. My sideburns hang to right above my breast. I will use this forever. I use brown rice. I let it sit for 72 hours. I pour the rice water over my hair. I don't wash it out. I use Cantu leave in conditioner over the wet rice water hair. I comb it through. I put my hair into 2 braids and let it air dry. I hate that you can't see the progress my hair has made in just 5 months! No more breakage, it's softer, my hair is stronger. I feel sexier with my long healthy hair.

si si I used it twice a week. Like it says, soak it for 24hrs. I watched another video where it said to use it everyday but that only made my hair brittle. So I used it every Sunday and Thursday only. Shapoo your hair like normal then use the rice water as a conditioner. I used to live it in to dry after shower before but it would make my hair hard when I air dried it so I washed it out after living it in while washing for about 5 - 10 minutes. At first it seemed like nothing was happening since I couldn’t see results right away but like they say, good things take time. Since 2018 it’s almost reached my waist when I straightened it but I’ve cut my hair last month since to shoulder length now and I still used it to grow it faster since my hair growth rate is very slow without it.

I'm going to try this. One thing I will say, don't over do it because then you'll have protein overload which will cause your hair to break. When I start, in about 2 weeks or so the first month will be every 2 weeks and then every month to every 6-8 weeks. I don't care about length at this point, just thickness. Thanks for the info🙂

Finally, I found a real hair doctor. Thank you so much for posting this information. While I do appreciate the lovely ladies on you tube that share what they do and what works for their hair, (which I believe have led me hear). It is extremely helpful to gain information from someone who studies hair as a profession. The professional is always needed, to keep us in the real know. Thank you and thank you to other you tubers who are amateurs you have been helpful as well. Debbie, I think your video is a word to the wise and other professionals to not be afraid to put out such valuable content as you have. Other professionals need not be afraid of losing money, because the valuable content does pay up and pays off double. Not only will you gain monetarily through youtube, but you gain from more referrals in your own local area, as well as finally perhaps the most benefit of all, is how you are helping so many women and men who suffer from hair damage, hair loss/alopecia (such as me). So, this type of content means so much to me and those alike. I'm almost in tears because I really needed something like this, I've been searching for so long for some answers, I believe I found it right here. Yes, honey, I am Subscribed! Thank you and God Bless you and please keep posting such great content.

Soo bc no body updates I'll update you
So I've always had veery thin fragile hair and my hair grew like 1cm in one year
I've had my hair touching my choulders for 4 years ( but I had to cut it like 3 or 4 times in that period of time cause everytime it started getting past my shoulders my hair would brake off shed like crazy and be all damaged so I cut it again )
So we can say that my hair almost never grew
And now it's been 3 weeks since I've used rice water and oh boy
I've used it 5 times in 3 weeks (3 time in week 1 , I left my hair in peace for week 2 to not overwork it and 2 times this week which is week 3 )
    sooooo
my hair grew 1 INCH and some !!!!!! IN 3 WEEKS...
Some people might find really small but for my case it's a huge acheivement
My hair has never been this long in 5 YEARS GUYS it's now way past my shoulders and almost to the middle of my boobs so yeah that's my update and yeah it does really work

I used it for 6 days straight...every night...it might be too much but now I will start using it 3 times a week then 2 times a week then once a wk. My hair has really improved in a week. It looks so strong and edges are growing. At first it felt scary lol to see my hair improve that much in just one week. I cant wait to see how it will be like in 2 to 3 months...God bless us all

It just warms my heart to see my sister's in the chat showing love and excited about looking like ourselves. We are starting to remember who we are as a people again. The culture and the love for our people was beat out of us. We have been tricked into loosing our pride and into thinking stingy white women's hair is more beautiful than our own. We are the only people whos hair grows toward the sun and rests like a crown on our head in its own righteousness. We are God's chosen people! Put the asian and white woman's weave down sisters and remember knowledge of self. Embrace your natural hair it is beautiful and it never stops growing. We just forgot how to take care of it, ourselves and each other. Many blessings ladies.
My hair went from being big chop 1 inch to half way down my back past my bra strap in three years. I gave up relaxer, shampoo heat and styling chemicals. I just wash with my fav conditioner, rice water, drip dry and finish with coconut and rose hip oil. I sleep in a satin cap and pillowcase. My mane is as glorious and full as a Lions, just shining and glistening in its own Destiny.

Bad news in the beginning but I guess I did a little OVER KILL so that was all MY bad😅😢 last year I’d let it sit 1 hour, wash out, braid hair & spray my braids with rice water every morning. my hair got really dry even though I was moisturizing too. It thinned & broke badly. I stopped using rice water grew it back and stalled at ear level as always. I came back to your video 2 months ago because you seem so humble and sincere plus I know I have a bad habit of over doing things. This time I only used biweekly for a hour and BOOM I see the light at the end of the tunnel!! my hair would never grow pass my chin but now on month 2 (4th wash) and I’m at shoulder length babyyy! My hair is thicker, shiner and bounces like nobody’s business. I just subscribed again because I unsubscribed when my hair was snapping like some Chico sticks😂Thanks for this great information and instructions💕🙌‼️ My only advice is don’t skip moisturizing since I figure this is like a protein treatment🤔 & of course not to over do it.

    • @bunsy2755
      @bunsy2755 6 років тому +21

Desire Steel, Your hair got dried out and thin because rice is packed with protein, so you have to make sure not to over-do it. Too much protein on your hair is harmful. You should not use it daily because even when you rinse your hair out, the nutrients of the rice water still stay in your hair. It makes sense that your hair got damaged because you were spraying it on your hair every morning. It's all in moderation! One a week is ideal

Yes you can! I presonally make some kind of rice dish once a week, and I soak 2 cups of rice for a few hours anyway. So I just take that water after draining it from the rice (after 3 hours of soaking) and put it into 2 jars and ferment it further for 24 hours, then I'd move them to the fridge. I'd use 1 portion every 3 or 4 days. So next week when I cook my rice dish I make some more and so on, This way it's much easier. hope this helps

I make my rice...ferment it...and next day all I do is use my spray bottle and spray all the way from my roots to the top, leave it for like even 3 hours making small sections helps absorb all the rice water in the hair. Then I go in to shampoo and wash. I mix the remaining with the shampoo. So I make rice water just enough to use for soaking my hair...and to use with the shampoo. I don't leave some. I make sure it all gets in my hair and you guys more growth has happened.
