The exams are getting tougher everyday, i can't miss this opportunity I've heard a lot about his good works in the life of certified projects Managers across the states
Passed my CAPM exam on Saturday Junr 15, above target in all four domains. I studied for three months and a half for 2 to 3 hours each day, yes each day with no weekends 😅
i just completed my Google Coursera Project management course , i found myself Relating to a lot of the same issues you had ! Thank you so much for your video , your gave me the encouragement i needed !
I'm at the beginning of the Google PM course. It feels a little long and overwhelming to do a six course training program. I am considering doing a shorter course geared towards exam prep on Udemy. What were some of the benefits of the Google course in your experience? I know they have resume and career support after you complete the course. Was it worthwhile to join their community?
@@rawdaaljawhary4174 the overall course experience was easy, and the way they taught the material was easy to understand. i also like being able to apply for their ''student aid'' program. Over the span of the 6 courses i practically only paid $30 , important to note that if you apply for the student aid , u can still work on your course ,you just wont be able to take the exams but , i would still pretend take them and write down my answers with the material fresh in my mind and when i would get my application approved i would be good to go. hope this helps. good luck!
@@rawdaaljawhary4174 I took the Google PM course and although it was a great experience, I don’t feel like it helped me prepare for the CAPM exam. I am now taking a CAPM prep course on Udemy.
Thank you for this preparing to take my exam before the end of December not very good test taker but I will try my best. Found this link via the Reddit post you did congratulations and thanks again
You’re very welcome! I’m glad you found this helpful. If you are looking to prepare for the test, I strongly suggest to use the Exam Reference list. It literally covers everything on the exam. I wish you the absolute best of luck!
Thank you! That earned value formula video alone has really helped me! I like how you are really calm and concise in the video and didn't talk too quick! Thank you... I've already failed once retaking in about 6 weeks I hope
Congratulations on passing the Exam! I only have one specific question, would you say "The PMI Guide to Business Analysis" is an absolute must? Thank you!
Thank you! I would say the PMI guide to Business Analysis is a must read. There were more Business Analysis questions than I expected on the exam. You don’t have to read the entire book, just the areas suggested in the exam content outline.
Thanks for the indepth knowledge and experience on the certification exam. I was wondering whether the Effective Project Management and Project Management Answer Book books are necessary and essential to studying and preparing for the exam?
How can I describe this, After passing the exam. You have the experience and confidence ect.. Did you go through "writers block"? Meaning after landing the Job and within the environment did you feel lost? Was it challenging to put into practice right away. I hope my question makes sense. Thank You in advance.
That’s a good question. I think it’s easy to get overwhelmed when we start anything new. Every organization you’ll work for is different and will have different ways of managing projects. Just take it step by step and confidence builds in time. And, hey, you’ll always have the books and all these resources here on UA-cam to guide you along the way :) I hope this helps!
Hey there! I dont think you have to read the other books cover to cover. Reading the specific areas pointed out in the exam reference list is more than enough. The PMBOK is most important to read thoroughly. The others are supplements to PMBOK.
Passed my CAPM Exam today!
CONGRATS!!
Congratulations 🎊
Can you give some insight on the Business Analysis Framework questions which were asked for your exam?
Can you share a little about what worked for you when you were preparing and what you hope to do with the capm cert?
Hi how can I reach you?
Hello hun can you tell me what you do to pass? Thank you
They say third times a charm, am officially a Capm🎉🎉 for all my repeat test takers don't give up and don't be discouraged.
Passing the Capm is when you study hard,if you can't study or you don't have time for your studies I'd advise you get yourself help like Mr Thomas
Really, you'll know him? I even thought i was the only one he has helped walk through the fears and falls of CAPM
I have sat for CAPM for the 2nd time now and still failed, i guess CAPM Certificate isn't meant for people like me😭
The exams are getting tougher everyday, i can't miss this opportunity I've heard a lot about his good works in the life of certified projects Managers across the states

This ate. Such helpful resources, thank you!!
Hey how much maximum time would it take to prepare for capm and is it enough to just read pmbok guide to get a certification??
How long did you spend preparing before you took the exam?

Thank you for posting!
You’re so welcome!
Hey, is there any Udemy course do you suggest?

Hey, Lou! You mentioned reading through PMBOK. Should I get and read through the other books as well?

Hi, please help me , is the CAPM exam based on PMBOK-7th edition or we can use 6th edition??
7th edition don’t use the 6th I used the 6th and failed the first time because the 6th only covered process groups
Hey Lou, thanks for shearing. I'm interested in planning & studying for CAMP. Can we connect. Thanks in advance.
I’m happy to help. Is there any particular question you have?
Is the CAPM exam an open book test?
I haven't taken mine yet, but from what I see, no it is not. Everything I can find says it is closed book.
Unfortunately, no. It’s a test of whether you understand the concepts. Good luck!
Woow..girl, you are sooo fine.. which state are you?. I'm in Boston
