The Kier McFarlane-directed video for this sublime slow jam channels Jane Fonda’s 1968 kitsch sci-fi classic Barbarella and won the 1995 Australian ARIA award for best video.

Along with Confide in Me from the same album, this was a landmark kind of song for Kylie Minogue. The colourful visuals make it clear that moving on a bit from so-called 'bubblegum pop' does not mean dismissing its 'pop art'.
Her moving on from bubblegum pop is probably why the clothing from which she liberates herself is bubblegum pink

I think so too, I guess that’s why it sound so bittersweet, because Kylie still acknowledges the fact that Hutchence played a huge part in her life story, but was very sad when their relationship ended.

Let's say that Kylie achieved her peak throughout the 90's with a little bump in the rode due to Impossible Princess then resumed with Light Years, Fever and closing this chapter we have the well executed Body Language... 2000-2004 was her ultimate peak after that X era and Aphrodite era are successful periods.
This song reminds me so much memories... I love this song. But I kinda feel sad when I listen to it.
It’s because it’s a story of someone still being in love with someone who’s moved on. The only thing the person still in love holds on to is that ‘love will no right from wrong’ and get back with them. The song has a theme of revenge in it as well. ‘The circle will come around’ is a statement that the hurt that the person still in love feels will inevitably happen to the other.
The person still in love is inviting the other to put themselves in their place. This is almost a plea to the other to assimilate the person still in love’s pain and so rectify it and get back together.

This was the ultimate tease music video - you always thought you were going to see a slip but they did it very well. Kylie really looked great too - perfect flawless petite body, immaculate makeup, and that hair color was stunning. One thing always made me laugh a little - did anyone else notice that she takes her left sleeve off twice? Or maybe you were too busy listening to the music ;-)

I think it was alternative x rated version and this sleeve scene was re edited back in - because there was a ruder version where you seen more titty so maybe it was added in place of a more x rated scene -
