imho the best Kylie song ever. Controversial, I know. Most will disagree. I was a Kylie fan since I was very young. I had her records, tapes, and videos. But this is quintessential Kylie reinterpreted and turned on her head. And yes Kylie, I would confide in you.
@@shannendawes8725 Unusual, but very creatively beautiful and stunning. I think this was a necessary step in her career. I just wish her next album “Impossible Princess” continued the trend. The single “Did It Again” is one of my favorite songs from that album and it is AMAZING!
I love this era of Kylie, with darkness, sexiness, angst, etc. I love her later works, as well, but I also hope she does something similar to this era sometime soon.
This song sometimes starts haunting me completely out of the blue and then I have to come back and listen to it. It's fair to say that this is the most memorable and intriguing of Kylie's songs - and videos!
This is the most hypnotic song i've ever encountered. First heard it when i was like 9 years old and couldn't escape from it ever since. Now i'm 34 (shit) and still listening to it as a unique and timeless masterpiece.
The production on this song is exquisite. The best period of her career in my opinion. Pity the mainstream at the time didn't support her new direction.
The mainstream and critics were actually highly excited and supportive for this song and album from what I remember... It went to no.1 in Australia, no.2 in the UK, and even no.1 in Israel for 4 weeks in a row, and did well in most of Europe. In the US it only reached top 40 in the Billboard Dance Chart, but the US always been cold to Kylie... It was huge back then! ;-)
Gosh. This brings back 90s memories of music. I'm also hearing DC Talk's Jesus Freak in some of the beats as well as some other indi artists of the time.
27 years after buying this on CASSETTE TAPE I’m watching. I loved watching this when MTV had it on heavy rotation and it bridged the pop/dance scene. Fantastic and pretty timeless!

I agree, this is the best from her
true
I just discovered this song and holy shit, i've never heard something so dark, deep, mysterious, moving and beautiful as Confide In Me before. We really are lucky to live in the streaming era, or else the younger generation that i am a part of could have never discovered the musical treasure that is Kylie
If you like this one then you should check out her 'Chocolate' Song. It's so classy 70's and exquisite!
You might also like the soundtrack to Requiem for a Dream (movie from 2000).
Psychedelic pop, how cool is that! To me this song reminds me of The Doors - The end and more specifically the intro of Apocalypse now.
😂🎉❤😮😮😅
One of her bests songs ever!!
Still the most emotional song Kylie's ever made.
imho the best Kylie song ever. Controversial, I know. Most will disagree. I was a Kylie fan since I was very young. I had her records, tapes, and videos. But this is quintessential Kylie reinterpreted and turned on her head. And yes Kylie, I would confide in you.
I’m seriously just discovering this gem 💎 of a song?! 🎧. And it’s 2024!!!!
Unusual, isn't it? 🤎
@@shannendawes8725 Unusual, but very creatively beautiful and stunning. I think this was a necessary step in her career. I just wish her next album “Impossible Princess” continued the trend. The single “Did It Again” is one of my favorite songs from that album and it is AMAZING!
Wow🔥
👍🏻
This is my favourite Kylie number, bless her always and greetings from Glasgow x
She was always true artist.
This track is probably most played on my list. Back in the trip hop days.
Kylie Minogue is my favorite singer. ❤
2023 here… What a great song! The violins are ace.
1994 was one of my most memorable years in music. This song by Kylie showed another side of her and the sexiness was just evident.
then she was super gorgeous in that video where strips and floating in space.
It seems like pop music, but the music gives you goosebumps. I'm a big fan of Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Depeche Mode
This is the most hypnotic song i've ever encountered. First heard it when i was like 9 years old and couldn't escape from it ever since. Now i'm 34 (shit) and still listening to it as a unique and timeless masterpiece.
such ahead of her time my queen love you
Probably her most underrated track. Eerie and portentous. The strings, underlying beat and that rising voice to "....a problem should be shared".
The production on this song is exquisite. The best period of her career in my opinion. Pity the mainstream at the time didn't support her new direction.
The rest of the world did...only in the U.S. do they not recognize talents (sometimes) lol
It was huge back then! ;-)
this and impossible princess
The best song of Kylie
Produced by Dave Seaman I believe, brothers in rhythm
This song is nearly thirty years old. It's amazing and I wish more people new about it.
Masterpiece! This song stood the test of time and even though Kylie has bigger hits, this one is my favorite one by a mile after almost 30 years.
Gosh. This brings back 90s memories of music. I'm also hearing DC Talk's Jesus Freak in some of the beats as well as some other indi artists of the time.
More than 25 years since it was released and it still sounds fantastic!! It ages like fine wine!!
28 years
Ahead of its time
29 years and going! wow!
It's just amazing that song with such colorful video is so dark and disturbing. The song and video are together a masterpiece.
one of Kylie's best songs ever
Kylie's greatest achievement. A masterpiece on every level, including the video.
Daaaa😀
27 years after buying this on CASSETTE TAPE I’m watching. I loved watching this when MTV had it on heavy rotation and it bridged the pop/dance scene. Fantastic and pretty timeless!
I want 90's back :'(
Tommy Tom I want 80's back! Vodka, kommunism, perestroyka, tovarish!!!
Growing up in the early 90s (when i was 7) my baby sitter was from Turkey, and she would always play Yonca's music along with Tarkan too. Fatima if you are reading this, i love you and i thank you for being such a great baby sitter ❤
My all time favourite track by Kylie and the best of her Indie phase and one of her better videos too,I love that this video has a dark edge to it, and this song always sounds stunning when she sings it live
this is trip-hop gem
Apparently the strings arrangement are by the same person who did unfinished sympathy.
